  1. Jesse hadn't finished the back 40 yet but it was time for lunch. He walked in, happy to see that Daisy already had a hearty meal on the table for him. It was no surprise. He had called her on the walkie talkie a few minutes earlier to let her know he was coming. He sat down, folded his hands and muttered a quiet prayer and starting eating some fried chicken, left over from supper yesterday. Daisy then walked in from her bedroom. She looked at her beloved uncle with concern. "Now Uncle Jesse, you look plumb wore out." He quickly responded. "Now listen here young lady. Don't you worry none about me. Maudeen is doin' all the work....and thank ya kindly for lunch." She still looked concerned, even motherly. "Now, why don't you just plow the back 40 the easy way, with our tractor. You know I rebuilt that carburetor." Jesse put his finger over his own lips and spoke quietly. "Now you just hush. Maudeen's right outside and the windows 'er open. She might hear ya. And by the way, have you heard from dem boys?"
  2. No but I do remember the vehicles on the back of the car carrier kept changing!
  3. museum (Artie Bender has some paintings in there)
  4. "Whoa, Maudeen!" shouted Jesse while plowing the back 40...but the mule just didn't want to stop. The old ridge runner raised his voice much louder, "Now, you listen to me and hold yer horses!" Maudeen stopped in her tracks. "I won't be long now Maudeen. I just wanted to wipe this sweat up. It's running like a river from my forehead to my eyes and I can't even see." Maudeen brayed loudly while she turned her neck to look back at him. "Now you listen here girl. Don't ya go looking at me like ya want to fight 'er somethin'. You know I didn't mean nothin' by it when I said horses." He then sighed and looked at the walkie talkie clipped to his overalls. "I just hope today doesn't bring anymore bad news. We could use us some good luck fer a change."
  5. That is odd. I just checked mine again. "Enos Strate to the Top" is definitely listed as Episode 2. I bought mine as soon as it came out. I wonder if they corrected it later. At the bottom of the description of Carnival of Thrills, it says in red letter "A special double-length show!"
  6. In reality, yes.......But if you unfold your season 3 jacket of DVDs you will see it is listed as one episode there. That certainly creates confusion because it throws every episode number off for the rest of that season.
  7. You got me on that one Garrett. Of the three I'd say Jimmie was the most handsome, but in their prime, the other two would have turned the ladies heads as well!
  8. The episode "The Fugitive" has a MOTOCROSS rally.
  9. I have that listed as the third season episode 15. The problem is that I can't remember if I listed Carnival of Thrills as one episode or two. That means it's either "To Catch a Duke" or "My Son Bo Hogg". Good to hear from you BL!
  10. Count me out. I get a little uptight when anybody messes with Daisy.
  11. If Boss had his way those Dukes would be permanently INCARCERATED.
  12. You got that right. And he has a great name. Chase Duke. They could even make his middle name Denver. That way Rosco could say "I'm going to go Chase D Duke"
  13. I've seen them in plenty of other things. Of course Sorrell, Denver and Jimmie did a ton of things before Dukes. They just didn't look as good as Catherine on the screen.
  14. There's a simple explanation for that. He's a Georgia boy and his daddy was mentioned on Dukes. Every episode of Dukes has a dramatic and happy ending. Chase is just being true to a Hazzard tradition.
  15. BEAR BRYANT (Sonny Shroyer on Forrest Gump)
