*At first it looked like RogerDuke's words had calmed the crowd, which was increasing in numbers but then, out of nowhere a tall, bearded scruffy, mysterious man in the back yelled out* "I ain't waiting fer that Garrett character to git out here. I say we do something about it right now. I don't know about ya'all but I'm going in. Meadowmufn is a friend of mine and I ain't standing around taking it" *RogerDuke, still standing on the truck bed loudly responded* "Now listen here feller, if you storm the jail, somebody could hurt. Besides, violence ain't gonna solve anything" *The mystery man shrugged his shoulders* "Well then, we at least we should make our voices heard "FREE MEADOWMUFN! FREE MEADOWMUFN! FREE MEADOWMUFN!" *Another voice followed, than another and then a crowd of 300 people were chanting in unison....*

"ROSCO!" Boss's voice boomed from his office in the Boar's Nest. Seconds later Rosco ran in, his black hat dripping with white liquid. Rosco stood in front of J.D. Hogg's desk "Yes Boss" Boss looked at Rosco with a confused look "What in the world is on your head?" "Uh, that's my sheriff's hat Boss. I always wear it 'cause I'm the sheriff." Boss angrily replied "I know that's your sheriff's hat you rodeo clown. What's that dripping from it?" "Uh, that would be buttermilk Boss. I was kneeling over picking up a dime before Enos could get it and when you yelled you scared him so much he spilled his buttermilk. But don't you worry. I'm taking the cleaning bill out of his pay." Boss was still scowling "Give it to me" Rosco handed Boss his dripping hat, to which Boss threw it back at Rosco's chest. "No you bird brain, give me the dime." Rosco pulled the little coin from his breast pocket and handed it to Boss. "I'm going to need this dime because you and that dipstick deputy of yours are putting our budget in the red wrecking all those cars. But things are going to change around here." -

Thanks for pointing that out Hoss. Sorry Hobie....I get a little carried away with teasing folks on occasion....that's because I like being teased back. I know I've answered "word association" before without realizing I was on the wrong page. I'm sure I made a few folks scratch their head. -

I've lived long enough to know that overeaction is worse than no reaction in cases like this." *notices a group of folks whispering then walking over to Rhuebottom's*

I agree with B.L. and Daisy. It was Boss. I don't think I'd be eating meatloaf that was born on a dirt floor of a sharecroppers shack. (LOL Sorry Hobie. I think you were on the last page when you answered that question. I've done that before myself) -
I remember that one Daney. Old Uncle Jesse sure shucked and jived Enos a good one that time. He even congratulated Bo and Luke for being found innocent.

My favorite movie is Top Gun although I admit I haven't seen it in a couple years. In addition to that, I mostly like tough guy movies from the early-mid 1980s -

I'm not sure how much more bad news we can take. We've sure been hit with enough sorrow around here after losing Lulu and Swamp Molly so close together and now we've lost Paul. I don't really know what to say except I'd like to send my condoences and prayers to his family and fans. The Dukes of Hazzard wouldn't have been the same without his stroke of genius to guide it behind the scenes. He will be missed.

We really don't know fer sure what's going on in there....and why" *face perks up* "Hey Garrett, since you're the sneakiest person I know this side of Hatchapee County, why don't you sneak in there and check things out. I mean, if this crowd sees were not doing anything they might overreact and stampede the jail. We gotta do something. These folks is gitting restless."

I just saw "Enos Strate to the Top" yesterday. I hate the ending because it always reminds me how badly I want the "Enos" series. Anyway, I just love the line at the end where Daisy asks him if he's ever flown before. Enos responds "I've never flown anything....'cept a car." I still remember laughing when I first heard that line when the episode originally aired. I was so excited about Enos getting his own show I was hanging on every word.
