I just got some pictures back from the stunt show. My wife took one of me standing beside the General Lee. It was lined up with Boss's Caddy, Rosco's sheriff's car and Jesse's truck....all perfect replicas and all are in the picture too. I felt like I was living out the episode "Carnival of Thrills." It's a picture I'll value my whole life.

Rumor is that you're drinking 10w30 on ice with a straw. You're going to be needing a designated driver.

I only ever experienced one hurricane all the way up here on Lake Erie. I was 12 when Hurricane Agnus struck in 1972. I think we've had rain from other hurricanes up here but nothing as serious as Agnus. Since I'm in western Pennsylvania I didn't even get wet from this latest hurricane but the poor folks on the other side of the state got flooded.

Is it just me or does it seem like we're drifting apart a little bit here on the HazzardNet? I suppose it's only natural. Families tend to do that in these busy times. But it's about time we reversed the trend. Starting Thursday Sept 1st we are going to be holding a monthly chat room meeting to keep better in touch. It's not going to be easy considering we have folks in Europe and folks on the United States Pacific Coast but we just can't sit back and see ourselves drift apart like we've been doing. I'll post a reminder a couple days before every month's end. Then, on the first day of every month, I'll be in the chat room at 7:00 pm EST hoping to talk to some of my Hazzard County friends. If only one other person shows up that's fine. It only takes two people to hold a meeting. If a dozen folks show up that's even better....the more the merrier. I might log in a little earlier to talk to our relatives "across the pond" but I'm not sure how much sooner I can get on. We'll have to deal with that on a month by month basis. I look forward to Thursday evening. It's going to be like a Hazzard County Reunion! Hmmmm, what's the difference if we clicked on "chat" or "flash chat"?

I agree with B.L. LOL your appropriate caption cracked me up Hoss. I wish I had better computer skills and could do screen grabs and all that fancy stuff Hoss does. It seems like the trivia thread will be taking a step backward with me taking over. On the other hand, having the opportunity to laugh at Hoss when he misses a question should be fun so it might balance things out. Thanks for all the time you put into trivia Hoss. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say "Awesome Job!!"

I'm up here by Lake Erie near the Ohio-Pennsylvania line. I was sitting on a wooden chair that was on cement. I felt like I lost my balance and was slightly tilting left. Then I felt like I was tilting right. I heard a weird sound like some kind of woosh of wind. Ten minutes later I turned on the radio because I suspected an earthquake and sure enough it was. My daughter teaches in Virginia. Her classroom shook a lot but no damage. It's too bad this hurricane won't be as gentle. As I type this it's already claimed 10 lives but sadly that number will increase.

I can hear the poor feller now whenever his boss told him he had to do that: "Aww, how come I have to be the safety assistant? How come you always give me all the jobs that nobody else wants. I mean, what if one of those Daisy Duke look-alikes falls on me or bumps into me? That would be terrible. I'll have nightmares for weeks. Can't you get someone else to do it?" Poor feller.

Like they say on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" always go with the first answer you think of. I've noticed with Hoss's questions that's true. I wasn't thinking of him giving that prayer but it must have been in my feeble memory somewhere because that episode just clicked up there. Hey Brian, you're too late. I think I just pulled a hamstring.
