Today was the last day of deer season here in Pennsylvania and like every year all I got was a doe. They've had something called "antler restrictions" here for several years where a buck has to have at least 4 points on one side to be legal. It's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. We've gone from a million in hunting license sales a few years ago to 550,000. Part of that is because it is impossible to count points and so many people are giving up. In the meantime deer are really overpopulated in some places and car accidents are increasing as a result.

I haven't been to Canada for a few years but when we did it was fun to go 100 all the way from Niagara Falls to Toronto and not get pulled over by Rosco for speeding.....even though it was KPH. Hey Hoss do you folks laugh at us Americans when we can't tell by a person's accent if they're British, Australian or South African?

I heard that on the radio about how Ireland will be affected. The big issue is the economy. Markets don't like uncertainty and the situation over there is about as uncertain as you can get. Who does it look like will benefit from Brexit the most economically, northern or southern ireland?....or is it way too early to tell?

Today I did something I'd never done before in my life. I closed my eyes and imagined Hoss at choir practice. It wasn't an easy thing to do because I have no idea what Hoss looks like but that made it more challenging and I love a good challenge. In my imagination Hoss is the one in the front row wearing a General Lee shirt and an orange 01 hat...looking good Hoss! I hope you sing Silent Night like the Dukes did.

I've spent the day getting mentally prepared for the three days of snow that will start tomorrow. Actually I love snow except that I worry about my loved ones on the dangerous roads.

My grandkids are Peppa Pig fans. My grandaughter says "George" with a British accent. She doesn't realize she's saying it with an accent since that's the only way she's ever heard it. It's so cute we hope she never says it our way. I think a lot of people in America hear a British accent and automatically think the person is smart. Is everybody over there smart Hoss? The only smart folks over here are Dukes fans. If there are smart people who don't like the Dukes I've never met one.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news Hoss but not very much. I don't watch as much TV as most people but I really don't think we get much exposure to other things. Since Hollywood was so big of a part of American culture long before cable television came out, my generation was never exposed to anything else and our lack of interest in anything not made here seems to have carried over to other generations. I'm sure glad you were exposed to Dukes though. We've had so many Europeans here (especially Brits) and it has been a pleasure to know them...especially you.

I saw two bald eagles flying together just above the treetops at 4:30 today. They've gotten more common here but they're still exciting to see...especially two together.

I agree with you Roth but Rollman makes a point. You don't have to post anything about yourself. If I ever do get a FB account I will only use it for Dukes stuff and if they want too much personal information I will just quit. For now though I'm holding off but maybe someday...

Welcome back to Hazzard County Daniel. These plates are awesome. Do you know how many different versions of the General's plate there were? I forgot about the 76 on some of them. Keep up the good work. By the way, how long has the Confederate General Lee Fan Club been gone? If you can contact any of them invite them here. Those folks were true fans.

accident They're starting to build more roundabouts here in Pennsylvania even though nobody wants them or likes them. Maybe we'll get used to them but for now they're causing a few minor accidents. By the way Hoss, they are called roundabouts here. I'm not sure if they're calling them traffic circles in other parts of the US or not.
