Actors love showing their ability to play anything. I can definitely imagine seeing Sorrell being a bad guy since he is a bit naughty on Dukes but I think it would bother me to see someone like Daisy or Enos playing a terrorist or mass murderer. I still remember seeing Andy Griffith playing a a bad guy after Mayberry ended and that was weird. But from a professional standpoint an actor never wants to be pigeonholed into one particular personality.
Today is January 11 which means that 4 months from now will mark 100 years that a cute little baby named Jesse Duke came into the world, born in the Duke farmhouse in Hazzard County Georgia. (historically correct in my mind at least)
I was just looking these over and it sounds like I could have written this 2013 post today. Today is Russian Christmas so my friend is home celebrating right now....lucky bum.
Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans just scored a touchdown. They announced that he is the first person to score a touchdown in the NFL playoffs on his birthday since 1974 (he turned 26 today). Pretty cool coincidence since I just posted something about Jan 4 birthdays a few minutes ago.
Another Jan 4, another double birthday. Happy birthday to both Bosses....Sorrell and HazzardNet's Boss JD Hogg. I checked your profile and noticed that today is your 50th! Congratulations on your first half century. Have fun starting your second.
I didn't know that....or at least I didn't remember. I do remember that Cousin Alice is the voice of Mrs Puff on SpongeBob....my memory isn't completely gone yet.
Welcome to the HazzardNet FalconCrest. I never got into the show too much but did watch it a little. I was a huge Dallas fan though. We hope you stay around a long time. It's always nice to see new folks in town.
I'm glad you had a good Christmas Spike but sorry to hear about your car. I'll keep an eye out for Circle. I hope Dish Network is going to have it. That sounds like something. I would love. Thanks for telling us.
Wow! This thread got pretty exciting on Friday. Normally I'm not gone from the HN all weekend so I'm sorry I missed this. Rob, thanks for your long post. We would love to hear more from you. This is so exciting.
You too Boss. It is the dawning of a new decade.....always exciting. Since the Dukes started in the 70s You could say we're entering the sixth decade of The Dukes of Hazzard. (of course I'm stretching it a bit since Dukes started in 1979).
70s....80s....90s......00s......10s......20s.....that's 6.
Welcome to the HazzardNet DukeofDuke. We hope you like it and stay a long time. Make sure you click on the thread that Hoss put up there. It has info you might be interested in. Are you a knife collector? I have some knives but I really love swords even though I only own two. One is Anduril from United Cutlery. It is a replica from Lord of the Rings. The other one is Rittersteel's warlord sword.
LOL...I'm also a Lord of the Rings fan so if the hair gets too long I might be able to become Gandalf the Gray or Gandalf the White. Then I could put on a wizard's outfit and hop in the General Lee (not that I'll ever really own one) and drive down the road with the window open yelling...."You shall not pass!"
