I recorded the first one yesterday. I see CMT was having a Smokey marathon.

I was in a department store yesterday looking at the magazine rack and the General Lee caught my eye. It was on the front of a small magazine that was advertising classic MOPARs. Inside there was a General for sale in Missouri for $70,000. (my wife doesn't like the idea of cashing out my retirement fund to buy it). I was pretty thrilled to see the General!

Some folks say you shouldn't live in the past but I'm starting to think it's a lot better than living in the present. I've had it with the present. I've seen politically correct insanity taking over everything. The latest is the Boy Scouts dropping half their name and just calling themselves Scouts to please the politically correct police. It truly has risen (or lowered) to the level of insanity. I just found an 80s country music station and it's now all I listen to in my vehicle. I'm now watching more Dukes, Andy Griffith, Gomer Pyle, Beverley Hillbillies etc than ever before. I'm way happier because of it. So to the folks who say you shouldn't live in the past, I say...why would you want to live in a world where "Boy Scouts" is practically considered profanity? Why would ANYONE want to live in that kind of world?...I'm not going to stop the world from going down the sewer tubes of political correctness but I am going to do whatever I can to walk in the opposite direction.

I've only played it once. I can see why folks like it but it wasn't anything I'd go out of my way to play.

I didn't really follow NASCAR back then so I hadn't heard of him but thanks for posting this.

I got fitted with an air cast that I have to wear until the end of May. It is no fun but I want to heal so I guess have no choice but to put up with it.

I damaged a tendon in my left foot over a month ago and it hasn't gotten any better. I've been to my family doctor twice but have made no progress so I have an appointment with a foot doctor in the morning. What's new with you folks?

That is one model kit that I never owned. I'm ashamed to say that I never kept all the models I built back in the 80s.

My first car was a 1975 Mustang II. I took over the $99 monthly payments in 1978 from my brother when he went in the Marines and had the car for 12 years after that. I miss it.
