This is exactly why every town needs a Cooter. If you roll your car over several times and then it falls down a ravine into a river and floats to the next county and catches on fire while going down a waterfall then gets stolen by a bank robber then crunched in the crusher after being confiscated by the police....it's no problem....Cooter will go to the crusher, pick it up and it will be as good as new later that day and all he'll ask for is donuts and beer.
Monday's are usually a bit sad since most folks have to go back to work but this Monday we're all taking the day off and celebrating Luke's birthday at the Boar's Nest. See you folks there. Happy birthday Luke!
If you need any help MM I'll come over with my sockets, pliers, hammer and duct tape. (I'll bring the little hammer. I doubt you'd trust me with a sledge hammer around your electronics).
Thanks as always for all you do.
You sure have a green thumb Spike. No Hoss, John Schneider, Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, Ben Jones, Sonny Shroyer, Byron Cherry and Rick Hurst didn't show up so not only did we not see stars in the sky but we didn't see them walking around either.
I spent yesterday at an astronomy gathering. We call them star parties. There were several great speakers and I enjoyed talking to my fellow amateur astronomers, many of them I only see once a year. It was cloudy so we didn't get to do any observing after it got dark. Shucks.
I'm making this a yearly tradition. That was pretty good. I'm going with the 90 weight stuff. That's the oil you put in your axles and it's super thick. Happy birthday Friday Cooter!
You sure lead an exciting life Hoss....always going places and seeing cool stuff.....thanks for posting that Daisy was in Cannonball Run II. I had forgotten that. Every once in awhile the first one will pop up on my satellite tv but I don't think I've seen the second one since it was in the theaters.
That's the way I felt about James Best's bake shop movie. There wasn't much action in it but there didn't have to be. I was just so excited to see him.
I see they hauled the wreck away. Can you imagine driving down the road and seeing Dale Jrs wrecked plane on the back of a flat bed semi!. That sounds like a scene out of a Dukes episode.
Thanks Garrett but second place is long gone. As far back as they are and as bad as they are, it will be last place for them. I'm already hoping the Steelers will be better than the Bears but the experts are saying otherwise. Maybe the Penguins will be better than the Blackhawks....doubtful. *hangs head in despair*
Oh, I remember. That's the one where he talks about building the house with Mississippi Lobloley Pine....I think it is....I always wondered if that was a real tree.
LOL Here it is Sunday night and I just turned the TV off because your Cubbies are crushing my Pirates and it is too painful to watch. I wasn't expecting to see the subject come up here! It looks like my Pirates will finish last. Your Cubs are making a good run for the playoffs.
