Went kayaking today....probably for the last time in 2022. We have one more good day Thursday and then a major temperature drop and maybe even snow.

This stinks. Keep us updated. I hope things get better.

Anybody who would go to all the work and expense of creating and maintaining a website about the Dukes of Hazzard for all these years is about as Southern as you can get.

I'd call you a Southerner then. You are definitely a Southerner at heart and that's all that matters. I live in the northern part of a northern state but I'm not far from the southern border of my county so that's enough for me to label myself a Southerner.

Don't take him seriously. They are upside down in Australia and all the blood rushes to their heads and every bad thing they say about the Dukes is the exact opposite of reality. If you buy one of those books that translates the Australian language to the language of reality, you will see that what he actually said was that The Dukes of Hazzard is the greatest television program ever made. It's nice to hear Bo and Luke have fans down under.

I just saw the last 2 innings of an historical baseball game. The Houston Astros just threw a no-hitter in the World Series against the Phillies. Before tonight there had only been one no-hitter thrown in a World Series game. Since 1903 there have been 688 World Series games and the only other no-hitter was in 1956.

I'm a cash guy myself. Credit is way overused.

If you talk to anybody who knows much about it, they will tell you how dramatically it has changed in just a few short years. It's always been different but now it is simply bizarre. But, who am I to talk? Nobody has ever accused me of being normal. I'm fine with that. Normal is plain old boring.

I've been telling you for years now....a lot of you Southerners don't realize how many rednecks the north has. That's because the media and entertainment industries put everybody in these convenient stereotypical boxes. But I won't go so far a as to claim I'm a bigger redneck than you!

Thanks Hoss. We were pretty much raised on animals my dad killed and also stuff out of the garden and woods so didn't get a lot of food or culture from other places. My mom made the best lemon meringue pies though and she got all those ingredients from the store, except the eggs.
