  1. I got a late Christmas surprise today from my daughter. A shirt signed by John Schneider. It has his (young) picture on it and says Bo Duke for President..Vote Yee Haa! She got me his Christmas movie last year, also signed. Before that I didn't have any of John's autographs.
  2. Not really but it's easy to figure out why everybody else did. Here's one I bet folks can get. Who was my celebrity crush in 1976? I bet her poster sold more than Daisy's.
  3. What a lazy day today was. Happy New Year everybody!
  4. I hope he had a good BD today. He deserves it after all that abuse he takes from Boss and Rosco.
  5. It's past midnight in Hazzard County so Happy New Year, fellow Hazzard residents. And that also means, Happy birthday Cletus. Flapjacks on a ferris wheel and buzzards on a buzzsaw, you have a great day Deputy. Maybe Bo and Luke will let you catch them...as a birthday gift.
  6. You too Boss. Have a Hazzard County year.
  7. That's great news Spike. I'm happy she is doing better. Anybody else have pork and saurkraut on New Year's Day? I'm not sure if that is just a regional tradition or not. My grandson is going to become a teenager on Jan 17. That's the day Betty White would have turned 100.
  8. I just have a feeling the first name starts with a T so it must be Tom...Tom Cruise?
  9. coal mine (my grandfather died of black lung)
  10. Tom Brady Tom T Hall Tommy Boy Tom Tom the Piper's Son Tom Brokaw Tom Hanks Tom Thumb (woops, he's not 6 foot) Tom Wopat
  11. Name at least one thing you want to accomplish in 2022. If you want to make the post more interesting, name a bunch.
  12. Chevy Chase? Edit: you said he wasn't from a movie.... Bill Nye the Science Guy?
  13. Yep Skipper. When he coached the Raiders I couldn't stand the guy because of how he acted. That, and the Raiders always seemed to have my Steelers number. They always seemed to beat them, even in the years when Pittsburgh was good and Oakland was down. When he became an announcer I couldn't stand him. Through the years my opinion slowly changed. Eventually he was my favorite announcer. BOOM! What a legend. Most kids today don't know much about him except for the video game. Just like most kids don't know much about Dukes except Daisy Duke shorts. Thank goodness Madden never wore them.
  14. Home Alone (Keep the change ya filthy animal)
  15. Did she get tested both times? A friend of mine just said that his 30 year old son just got it for the second time. We're getting quite a bit of snow now. Why couldn't we have had that for Christmas?
  16. plants ( the old timers used yellow dock and curly dock for food and medicine)
  17. My wife reminded me that we call them steak fries.
  18. It was our pup's first Christmas too. She was born on Feb 12. We haven't had a dog in 5 years. She loved it yesterday when we had a housefull of people and will probably sleep all day today. Before long, I will be getting my annual post-Christmas blues but I'm still fine for now. I love the Elvis song "Why can't every day be like Christmas?"
  19. I'm in NW Pennsylvania, across the line from Skipper in NE Ohio and I have never heard of them. Apparently, the term knows where the border is. (In case you didn't notice the last post, the current word is camoflage)
  20. camouflage (I love the scene in High Octane where Boss and Rosco were in cammo. The woods in north Georgia are beautiful)
  21. I just struck gold. I opened a present and WOW! A genuine 1980 Dukes of Hazzard lunch pail! I've never owned one. Come to find out, my daughter found it in a collectible store in Virginia back in July. She bought it and my wife bought it from her and they have kept it a secret since then. It doesn't have a thermos and has a few rust spots, but not many. The only real bad spot is Luke's right forearm, where he is hood sliding. All the paint is wore off from the elbow down. I'm not complaining!
  22. I'm out of reactions so here is your ❤
