According to the Wikipedia page for Shérif, fais-moi peur (it's in French), the French theme was sung by Israeli singer Noam (Kaniel) with lyrics by Israeli producer Haim Saban. There's no mention of any backing singers.
I like the French song. It's catchy. Does anybody here know who that guy is in the French version of the theme song? The background singer who goes "ah ooh ah ooh" in between the main singer's words? I like that "ah ooh ah ooh" part.
How about Les Seymour from 'Dukescam Scam'? We never see him, but the Dukes nearly hit him. As Waylon says:
"That's Les Seymour's truck. And old Les can't even drive nails."
The Baxley Sisters in 'Coy vs. Vance' were also named after the Baxley family who worked on the show.
BTW. Another widow gets mentioned in 'Gold Fever'. To get Jesse to open his mouth, Luke says, "This puts me in mind of the time when old Jess was laid up and Widow Campbell stopped by in the middle of the night...". Jesse interrupts him and I don't think we ever find out any more about Widow Campbell's visit!
Going to be the coldest night of the winter. Will end up being well below zero before morning Sun. Maybe even break a record. Not an all time record, but a record for this day.
Some of you may have noticed HazzardNet was down for a few hours today. The database wouldn't come up. Fixed it though. I bet Enos unplugged something important to plug in the coffeemaker. He didn't even leave me any donuts from the Busy Bee.
OK my fellow Hazzardites.....I may or may not be on later but I'm still having trouble with my computer and I'm taking it in tomorrow, so I won't be here for a while....not even for DOHD!! Hopefully I'll get it repaired soon and I'll be back!
* You guys make sure you celebrate DOHD and maybe even celebrate it here! Raise a glass of Buttermilk, on the rocks ..." For Hobie!" I know I'll be celebrating.....maybe nort with buttermilk....but.......
