    Bo Duke's clothes

Please stop assuming that similarities make things the same and posting them as if they are facts. A couple of days ago you claimed to have seen the Sanford and Son pickup in Hazzard Square when it was just a similar model. While the shirt that Leeman steals is a similar plain blue shirt to the one that Bo wears when they go "juking" in 'High Octane', it's also similar to a lot of other blue shirts in the show including the one worn by Luke in 'Happy Birthday, General Lee'. The shirt that Hammer steals is red plaid, but the pattern is different to the one worn by Bo in 'Happy Birthday, General Lee', and his has long sleeves while Bo's has short sleeves. Please also consider whether these observations require a new thread. You've already started a thread of Easter Eggs, and there are are probably other places this could've gone. Spreading information across multiple threads makes things harder to find and less fun for people to access.

  2. Yes - you posted the same thing six months ago in this thread (literally three posts ago on this page!), and also in 2020 in Uncle Jesse's Reviews. Luckily, Julieduke and Jessi Duke had already posted about this in 2007.

  3. Let's all remember, it's the MoonShine 400 ( not like Daytona 500, Charlotte 500 etc. ) because we who started the race, can't stay sober long enough to make 500 laps! It's ok though. We have a lot of fun racing people we know and it's mainly a Hazzard County thing, so we don't have to worry about outsiders crashing the party!! I hope everyone has had a great day. Remember, it's DOH day!! * * Happy DOHD everybody! ( Fridays are always Dukes Of Hazzard Day!)

    NASCAR news

When I went years ago, it doesn't seem like it was very well advertised. I heard it at the last minute and was lucky enough to go. Makes you wonder if it's on them and it's their way of saving money? IDK. When I went, I don't think Richard Petty was there. It was just Kyle Petty and a bunch of guys I didn't know. LOL. It was neat and odd at the same time. LOL

  5. All right. Garrett is in. It wouldn't be a Moonshine 400 without Garrett. If we don't get confirmation from MM we are just putting her in Rosco's patrol car and we'll put Hoss in an orange F1 car.

Only if you wear it to go juking. Otherwise, you're an escaped convict!

I assume that would be sweetened rather than UNSWEETENED tea? The only time I recall tea being mentioned was in 'The Fortune Tellers' when Rosco says, "Tea leaves. I'll read their tea leaves." under his breath after sending the fortune tellers on their way.

  9. In the commentary to 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke', they talk about how the cars they used had automatic transmissions when they were supposed to be stick. The gear shifting sounds were probably dubbed from a stick. They also say that they drove everything from 318s to 440s. Cathy asks asks if some of the 440s had a Hemi shifter. Tom tries to correct her by saying "Hertz shifter", but I think he meant Hurst shifter. Either way, John says on the commentary that they all had slap shifters.

  10. Okay it looks like we have Hobie in the Trans Am. Garrett in a Jeff Goron NASCAR car. Me on Emma's mail motorcycle. Skipper pulling the SSMinnow with an F-350 dually. MM in Rosco's sheriff's car. Hoss in an orange F1 car. Boss, Spike, others, ya in? If we don't hear from people they're gittin' flat tires as soon as the race starts....but they will be starting.

That's pretty impressive Skipper. But I know you have a photographic memory when it comes to scenes from Dukes episodes so I'm not surprised.

  12. I love this line in Season 7 No More Mr. Nice Guy, during one of several bouts of Boss Hogg's amnesia thru out the episode. The bad guys kidnap him in a scene, and they knock his head on the roof, to subdue him before loading him into the backseat. Because he wouldn't hold still and tried getting away. Waylon Jennings:"So, they beddie byed Boss, an' hauled him out of town like a sack of Grits." Befitting since the Boss wears that White 3 piece suit. Grits are White.

  13. Did y'all know that before Tom and John walked out, the episode Coy Meets Girl was originally supposed to be titled A Bo for Bobby. Because of that girl Michelle Greene (Bobby Lee Jordan).

  17. Season 7 No More Mr. Nice Guy. Bo and Luke are chasing one of the bad guys and a bad girl who is their partner. The bad guy and girl escape the train, General Lee stops on the tracks. The lights are flashing with the ding ding ding sound the railroad crossings make. Luke:"What'd you stop for?" Bo:"I didn't. The General did." They look at each other and hurry up and get out the windows. Luke runs to the back. Bo reaches in and puts it in gear so it will roll forward when they push. Luke (Before Bo joins him to help push.):"Put it in neutral, dummy!" It freezes for the commercial. Waylon Jennings:"Now, boys, I know you've been pushin' yer luck. But, that was just a warm up fer the pushin' you better be doin' now." They make it just in time. The train comes by honking its horn. Bo (Yelling at the driver):"Thanks a lot Wendell!"

  19. Season 6 How to Succeed in Hazzard. (Luke & Daisy are in General Lee chasing Dewey Hogg's ambulance.) Ambulance Driver:"Them Dukes are following us!" (Dewey Hogg flips a switch on in the back of the ambulance where he's riding at. It activates an oil slick.) Waylon Jennings:"It looks like ol' Dewey's emergency vehicle is prepared fer any emergency. Including the Dukes." Daisy:"Luke! That's oil!" Luke:"Hang on sweetheart! We're goin' fer a ride!"

  20. Season 4 Hughie Hogg Strikes Again They're chasing Hughie Hogg in his motorhome. (Hughie pushes a green button on the dashboard and drops glass on the road.) Luke:"You better slow down. We're gonna have to take the chance to lose him."(On the CB to Hughie.)"Ok Hughie, you can pull over. Yer little trick didn't work." Hughie(On CB to Luke.)"Yeah? Well, maybe this will! Ha ha!" (Pushes the red button. An oil slick dumps on the road.) Bo:"Oh come on!" Luke:"Keep it straight!" Bo:"I'm turning, it's turning!"

    A Bo for Bobby

That it what would have been called if Tom and John had not walked off the set. But it got change to go with Vance and Coy. And thus the title got changed to Coy meets Girl. I hope that helps you out.

I'm still irritated that the local news didn't mention the Petty boys were coming. Maybe they were worried the crowd would be too big. I see King Richard is 87....hard to believe.
