Forgive me if I've placed this in the wrong section. I'm new here and am still trying to navigate my way around. I just posted an introduction to myself in the Introduce Yourself section. Go check it out. The reason for this post is to see if anyone would like to re-watch the show from the beginning. I am starting Season 1 early next week! Hey y'all. I'm not sure if y'all have heard of Rusty Cash, one of the, if not the best and most well known Boss Hogg impersonator. If any of you were ever at a Dukes event and there was a Boss Hogg character, chances are it was Rusty. Well unfortunately, he was rushed to hospital earlier. His wife Dana announced this on Rusty's Facebook page earlier, and left a message two hours later saying Rusty was in surgery and it wasn't looking good. So for any of y'all that are religious, please think of Rusty in your prayers, and for those with Facebook who want to send Rusty a message his personal Facebook is "Rusty Cash" and is public Facebook is called "The Boss". Does anyone know about this? I hope they do show them all so I can record them on to VHS. Buying the seasons on DVD just doesn't seem right. Back when the Dukes aired, no one even had thought of such a thing.

Howdy Y'all....I was recently told by a friend that Ben Jones would be attending a fair around me....I didn't believe her at first, cause I thought boondocky place...but then Luke attended this fair too....So I got on their facebook page, because they ain't known for keepin their website up to date, and whatta you know....He is actually gonna be there!! Thursday August 2, 2012 at the Garrett County Agricultural Fair in Garrett County Maryland.... I don't know if y'all know this, but I just found out we can go to http://www.tvland.com/awards2004/ and vote for General Lee in category #3 and John Schneider in category #24. There's also a final question in which we can write in our own category and who we think should win it.

Ben Jones has annoucned that TV Land has bought the right to "Dukes of Hazzard" and the show will once again come back into syndication!

In this casual, behind-the-scenes interview published May 2nd, Tom Wopat talks about his formative years at the music program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also spills the beans about the plans to do some casino concert gigs with John, and possibly do an album together. Tom also talks about his home state a bit. I dunno about ya'll, but I think it's way cool that a Dukes of Hazzard cast member actually owns a farm.

I heard on the radio this morning that Catherine Bach would be doing a signing in my area (NYC) this weekend (I think it's this weekend), but I can't find anything about it online. Can anyone help me out here? I have a poster that I really want to have her sign. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of the details, but nobody had posted about it ( or at least I hadn't seen anything!) and thought I'd remind people, that he played Slick Dawgins in " Coltrane vs Duke" and he played other characters ( I'm blanking right now!) in the show at different times!

O.K. I'v watched season 1 a few times now and just finished watching season 2, so does anyone know when season 3 might be released?

I just saw something really cool. I was watching CNN just after 4:00 EST and they were talking about Obamacare. (I'll be really careful to not bring up politics since that's against the rules). Boss, Rosco and Flash have made it into the hallowed halls of the United States Congress. Republican Phil Gingrey from the great state of (you guessed it) Georgia had two huge posters of Boss and Rosco w/Flash while he was talking about health care. Also, CNN ran footage of an episode with Boss....the scene where he was getting sprayed with red paint (by Bo as I recall) in his chop shop. Good ol' boy John Schneider, otherwise known as "Bo Duke" from The Dukes of Hazzard, will be appearing at the Philadelphia Comic Con June 18th and 19th, 2011. A General Lee will also be on display. Country singer Toby Keith has passed away at the age of 62. He had been diagnosed with stomach cancer back in 2022. For Dukes fans, he was also appeared as himself in the 2000 TV movie "The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood".

Got an email from cooters place and they said on there website that the gatlinburg store is closing and they are going to open it back up in pigeon forge, and the general that they have on display down ther is up for SALE 20,000 has 318 engine, not used in the shows but has been on tv.

It was 30 years ago today (9:00pm EST) that our favorite Hazzardites came to television and the phenomenon began.... Happy Anniversary Everyone!!!!!!!

Burt Reynolds passed away today. He and Jimmie were close. I still remember at Jimmie's 75th birthday, he was surprised by a video birthday message from Burt (and Paul Newman too). It was so thoughtful and great. He'll be missed.

Just want to remind ya'll, "Hazzard Comes to Galax" is coming up fast! The shindig is in Galax, Virginia, June 2nd. One day only, so plan your travel time accordingly! Our crazy friends from the North East Ohio Dukes will be doing a car stunt show, plus there's cast appearances by dang near everybody.
