July 4, 201412 yr I'm not sure of the details, but nobody had posted about it ( or at least I hadn't seen anything!) and thought I'd remind people, that he played Slick Dawgins in " Coltrane vs Duke" and he played other characters ( I'm blanking right now!) in the show at different times!
July 4, 201412 yr Thanks for passing on the sad news, but you got his name slightly wrong: it's actually Bob Hastings. IMDb lists his date of death as 30 June 2014 and the cause as prostate cancer. He was 89.He played Barnes in 'Witness for the Persecution', ...... Slick Doggins (spelling as used in the subtitles) in 'Coltrane vs. Duke' ...... and Taylor in 'Sky Bandits over Hazzard'.You can see Bob Hastings' full filmography here.
July 5, 201412 yr Author Thanks Hoss!! You be Da Man!! I had forgotten about his being in Sky Bandits! He's like that Burton Gilliam guy who played several bad guys in several episodes! ( I can always count on my fellow Hazzardites to help me out!)** By the way...where IS everybody??? I haven't seen Meadowmuffin or anybody else for that matter!!* I like in " Witness For The Persecution", where the guy for the Feds, tells Jesse, " They've got hit men everywhere!" .....TWO GUYS!!!
