I recommend folks rent the new video game before purchasing. It has excellent graphics!!! Original cast voices is a plus. Some of the adventures are not too bad... it seems to be more for an adult audience than kids. At least one level of free roam and multi player, open for folks who don’t want to do the missions would have been nice. There is a "Dixie" horn control button and one for yeehaa. Ben Jones has annoucned that TV Land has bought the right to "Dukes of Hazzard" and the show will once again come back into syndication!

just got the email from cooters place dukes will be back on tv starting sept. 10 there will be a dukes launch special marathon then sept 13 dukes will be on air mon-fri at 7pm I think this is great news now hopefully cmt will sponsor another Dukesfest yeeeeehaaaaa

Just want to share some upbeat stuff here. First of all, with all the Dukes stuff going on, it's hard to believe this is 2012 and not 1982! We got Tom Wopat and John Schneider making car show appearances, we got a pro golfer driving the General Lee to the Phoenix Open, we got country music star Dierks Bently telling a newspaper how he watched "The Dukes of Hazzard," and we got major retailers carrying new Dukes of Hazzard t-shirts. i emailed the web site tvshowsondvd.com to find out when the dukes of hazzard is coming to dvd. the rssponse is that it will come out early 2004 and its the first season on dvd and the results of the sales will determine the release of more seasons of the show.

This tidbit came from the back alleys of Hazzard, and I haven't verified it yet. But there's enough plausibility in this to go ahead and post what I've heard. Season 2 of the Dukes of Hazzard is expected to be in stores in time for Christmas shopping. November 01 is the projected release date. The Season One DVD is enjoying strong sales and has literally flown from the shelves. Reportedly it's been in the top 5 sellers since it's release. If released this fall as projected, it would closely coincide with the third Dukes video game that's slated for release this October. The famous Hazzard County Stunt Show, presented by the Northeast Ohio Dukes, will be at the Lake County Fair on August 20th! There are NO cast appearances involved, this is a car stunt show only. But it's a great show, featuring the General Lee and police cars in live, dirt-flying, chase-and-crash action.
