Introduce Yourself

If you're new to our forums or have just been lurking without posting, here's a good place to make your first post by introducing yourself. Tell us how big a Dukes of Hazzard fan you are! But remember, there IS such a thing as TMI (too much information). ;)

  1. I have been a huge fan of "The Dukes of Hazzard", and have been collecting its Memorabilia, since the age of 7. Here is a photo of my collection.

  2. Started by Shooter2759,

I’ve only been here for quite a few weeks, but all the content here is nice (mostly with the squad cars though...) But when I found out about this forum I hadn’t known about The Dukes of Hazzard (sure there was the 2000s movie but the TV series from before? Nope.) apart from the fact that several of the patrol cars used by the lawmen in Hazzard County have made appearances in other films and TV series, plus somewhat more notable cars too. Movies that I’ve watched so far: The Blues Brothers, Smokey & The Bandit as well as S&TB2, plus H.B Halicki’s The JunkMan, the original Gone In Sixty Seconds and it’s 2000s reboot and Blues Brothers 2000. …

Hi y'all, Im from Southern Illinois and I have been a fan of the Dukes for as long as I can remember. As everyone I have always wanted a General Lee, its my dream car. Im already a Mopar guy but have always wanted a 69 or 70 Charger, well after over 20 years my patience paid off. Im a proud owner of a 70 Dodge Charger and I plan on turning it into the General Lee. I picked it up in Oklahoma City last weekend. Here is my project

I am a long time fan of the Dukes, and my school grades reflex that. Every Friday night,I would be perched in front of the TV,snacks and drink in front of me,brothers, and cousins. I was disappointed when the series was cancelled in 1985.When they were broadcast on TNN in 1995,I jumped for joy and started taping them. Maybe when I die,my casket will be orange, with an 01 on the sides, and the conferedate flag on top.My tombstone might have a General Lee on it.

  14. Howdy, fans? I am new on this site and I just wanted to say hi to y'all and I am ready to talk about the show the whole day. I was searching in the posts for a while. I was looking for The Dukes of Hazzard english subtitles but I didn't find any. Could someone help me and send them from season 2-7 to my e-mail? That would be great assistance, cuz in my country the first 2 seasons had been translated only and I would like to translate the rest and make HunSub and share it to the Hungarian Fans. Thank you. Kee-kee-kee!

  15. Hi, I am a new member here, and want to say HI to all my fellow Duke's of Hazzard enthusiasts. I have watch every episode when it aired live on TV. I was hooked on this show ever since then. And I am still hooked on it now. I am glad it is back on CMT starting today (Jan 5th) at 2 Pm. I will be watching it for sure! I have a 1969 Dodge Charger SE with a 383 CI Big Block (335 HP), and a 727 Automatic Transmission. It is a Numbers Matching Car and is a complete car. Everything there is what was put there from the factory. This car is a Factory A/C which is 1 of only 38 ever made this way. I have to put the A/C parts back on, but they are in the trunk for now. I have had the…

  16. Hello all, My real name is Carl. I'm a Canadian childhood fan at heart. I've always loved the Dukes of Hazzard, always wanted to meet the cast (met some), always wanted a General Lee (one day), and always wanted to visit as many locations as possible. So I've started building a map using Google's MyMaps. I was wondering if anyone would like to partake in this and hopefully get an entire map for fans to utilize. Let me know. Looking forward to hearing from ya all!

  17. Hello, folks. My member name is Carolyn_Duke1970. Please, everyone just call me Carolyn. I'm new to this forum but I've been a fan since I was 8 or 9. I turned 38 in December 2008. Now you know where the 1970 in my member name came from. Well, that's all for now. So...I'm outta here.

Hello all, I have been looking at the forum for awhile now but never posted. I live in Knoxville, TN (about 30 minutes outside of Gatlinburg). I own a 1968 Dodge Charger General Lee autographed by Cooter (before my ownership). Great General even though previous owner decided to keep it looking like a 68 instead of a 69 and I was perfectly happy with it. -Godfather

Hi yall! Thank yall in advance for welcomin' to me yer community! I started watching the show 6 nights ago after reading about it online. Ever since then, I have been watching as many episodes as I can squeeze in every night before bed. In just 6 days, I have watched all of season one, and over half of season 2! Because I instantly loved it that much! My favorite character is definitely Rosco. I love him so much! My mom told me that she knew he would be my favorite because he reminds her of me. And I agree! His personality is very similar to mine. I'm very childish, I laugh and giggle a lot, I love rules and laws, I get excited easily, I tend to have larger than life reac…

Hello everyone! Of course I am a fan of the Dukes but I have a 9 year old who absolutely loves the Dukes! He started watching them about 5 years ago and I thought maybe it was a phase but boy was I wrong! He recently made a General Lee pine wood derby car and won first place. I was hoping there was somewhere on this website I could post the pictures His absolute dream would be to meet any of the cast. I bet he says Yee-Haw 50 times a day! And thats the ONLY thing he will watch. I do believe his love of the Dukes of Hazzard is here to stay!! Hopefully I can take him to meet them someday. I wish they were still having the Dukesfest ..... Have a great day everyone…
