Introduce Yourself

If you're new to our forums or have just been lurking without posting, here's a good place to make your first post by introducing yourself. Tell us how big a Dukes of Hazzard fan you are! But remember, there IS such a thing as TMI (too much information). ;)

Hello, i'm Rico from Berlin, the Capital of Germany. I like the Dukes since i was a little Boy. We saw the show first in 1986 in german TV. It was great. In Germany i have not seen a real General Lee till now, but next Suturday, 2015/08/02 i drive to Zandvoort in the Netherlands. There is the Euro Dukesfest 2015 with a lot of Generals and Hazzard-Police-Cars. A dram will come true. If You are in Europe come to Zandvoort too. It will be great. CU BerlinDuke

  2. Hello all, My real name is Carl. I'm a Canadian childhood fan at heart. I've always loved the Dukes of Hazzard, always wanted to meet the cast (met some), always wanted a General Lee (one day), and always wanted to visit as many locations as possible. So I've started building a map using Google's MyMaps. I was wondering if anyone would like to partake in this and hopefully get an entire map for fans to utilize. Let me know. Looking forward to hearing from ya all!

Hi all, Having a Dukes obsession the majority of my life I decided to sign up to HazzardNet and introduce myself, so here it goes... I'm Joe and I've been a fan of The Dukes of Hazzard since I was about 5 or 6 years old, I've stood by the show nearly my whole life leading to a long-standing argument with my father on which 80's TV Car was better, KITT or the General, anyway I look forward to getting to now you all in the future. Best regards, Joe

G'day everyone you have a cool site here and glad to be part of it. I normally live on pinball forums but have been getting back into The Dukes of Hazzard lately. Even picked up a the Dukes of Hazzard card game to play with the kids as well as a Dukes of Hazzard Spiral Pinball for the kids (80's toy). I really enjoy 3d designing / 3d printing as well as pinballs and have started on a few dukes of hazzard pinball concepts so what better place to get advice on layouts, rules, art etc other than the pinball forum but from the Dukes of Hazzard fans forum. The ultimate dream is to get a pinball company in the US to build them... chat soon

Well as sure as god made wee fishes, our Lee is climbing out of the ashes, and what a beaut. We lost all signs of the cars origin, and here she is. Decals going on next week so will be able to unviel the beast very soon. Remember, we doing a 3000 mile tour of Europe at the end of April, so as they say, "coming to a town near you" . All for the sake of our local special needs school. We now got our justgiving site set up, so more detail later. This less of a project and more of a lifestyle:p Back soon, Richard

I'm sort of new. I'm from Canada. I grew up watching The Dukes Of Hazzard reruns on TV. I recently begun watching it again as I have the complete series. My favourite characters are Jesse, Bo, and Cooter. I always had a crush on Bo.

Hi there. I'm an Englishman who's been living in Ireland for the last 7 years. I'll be 40 this year which means I've been a Dukes fan for about 3/4 of my life. I'm currently re-watching every episode from the beginning - I'm up to 'Goodbye General Lee' in series 4 at present, so I've only got 75 episodes and 2 (good) films to go! I finally got 'round to reading Ben Jones's 'Redneck Boy in the Promised Land' this year, and recommend it to anyone who hasn't. On the hobbies side, I collect 1:18 scale diecast cars, most of which are muscle cars from the late '60s and early '70s, and include 5 Dukes cars. I have also recently been playing around with vector based artwork again…

I’ve only been here for quite a few weeks, but all the content here is nice (mostly with the squad cars though...) But when I found out about this forum I hadn’t known about The Dukes of Hazzard (sure there was the 2000s movie but the TV series from before? Nope.) apart from the fact that several of the patrol cars used by the lawmen in Hazzard County have made appearances in other films and TV series, plus somewhat more notable cars too. Movies that I’ve watched so far: The Blues Brothers, Smokey & The Bandit as well as S&TB2, plus H.B Halicki’s The JunkMan, the original Gone In Sixty Seconds and it’s 2000s reboot and Blues Brothers 2000. …

Been a member on here for quite a while but had a few computer/e-mail issues so only just got round to introducing myself. I live in Warrington, a small town in the UK. I have been a Dukes fan all my life, and yes I am old enough to remember them the first time round! I love listening to music, I am a bit of a Rock Chick and some of my fav bands include Status Quo, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf and Guns 'N' Roses. I am also a closet country fan and enjoy Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Toby Keith. I am just starting to get into the new country artists aswell through the power of internet radio, so let me know of anybody worth listening too. Othe…

  13. Started by Savickster,

Hello. I remember my babysitter got me into this show! This is probably an odd choice for a favorite show, but it was one of them with the Beaudry's (weren't there only two episodes) and I was wondering if someone could tell me which one it was and what box set it's on: The episode I like is not the one where the Beaudry's get trapped in their own trap. I think they were doing something to Daisy (the other episode.) All's I remember, the Beaudrys put up quite a fight. They weren't easily beaten like other bad guys were. Thanks for all your help.

So I am a lifelong "Dukes" fan. It was my favorite show as a kid. When the Nashville Network put it back on the air when I was in college I taped every episode. Hello Folks, I was on here ages ago as some god-awful complicated name I can't remember, but thankfully, those days are in the past. I want to spend some more time on the net now that I can; I've been so busy-busy-busy with so many things offline. Some of you may remember me as Carolyn. I'm an aspiring writer who wants to write mostly about travel. I'm into martial arts, swimming, reading (mostly travel stories, of course, but lots of things), writing, nostalgia, including television, and have loved The Dukes of Hazzard ever since I was 7, and I fell hard for John Schneider with a crush that has never faded away since. Soon to be a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Re…

I am the grandson of Dennis Nash the man who owns Uncle Jesse's House in Loganville, GA. Me and him made this to try and keep intouch with the Hazard community and to tell on how the home is doing. He has enjoyed many visits by all who visit him and the home, even people from as far away as Germany and Roscoe(James Best) even came by once to shoot some video.

I grew up watching the Dukes. I remember watching it with my family growing up. I loved it. Now that I have two boys of my own, I am really happy that CMT is showing old episodes of the Dukes. I have gotten the first two seasons on DVD too. My boys LOVE it! I love it that there is something on television that's good that I can watch with them. I also love it too that lately when I've listened in when they're playing, I hear "You're Bo and I'm Luke" and "Hey, let's go get Cooter." I think my boys have finally found something they and I all agree on - The Dukes of Hazzard is good and fun! I miss the days where TV was good and wholesome and original. Today's shows are mostly…
