Hello, my name is Russell. I'm been watching the Dukes since i was a kid. it's the first show i remember watching. I had a die cast general lee and would jump it along with the theme song at 2 or 3 yrs old. i always said when i learn to drive i'm getting a general lee. Well now i'm in my mid 30's and I do not drive a general lee but the dream still lives!! looking forward to getting to know the community

I am new to hazzardnet but my grandson loves the dukes. He will love this site.

Well I found this forum, Im 45 years old and grew up on the Dukes and Civil War reenactoring in 1981. My Dad and I along with my twin brother watched this this show. I still cant get over how good the TV shows from the 70's and 80's when I was a kid beat all the garbage on TV today. It's a sin I have to search the net for these old shows to show my kids. My Dad or( Mom who has since passed) never told me about about the TV shows she has watched) the kids of the late 1970's thru 1980's need to go thru ol the old TV shows and teach they kids of today the way things were. The only good thing is now you can google the net on the past things that made the kids of the 70's …

Hi y'all, Im from Southern Illinois and I have been a fan of the Dukes for as long as I can remember. As everyone I have always wanted a General Lee, its my dream car. Im already a Mopar guy but have always wanted a 69 or 70 Charger, well after over 20 years my patience paid off. Im a proud owner of a 70 Dodge Charger and I plan on turning it into the General Lee. I can remeber the first episode I saw "Limo one" and have never stopped my apreciation in 30 years. I have a 69 Charger, his name is Tennessee. The Charger is not a GL , it is a loaded dealers car w/ power sunroof, PW A/C, PDB, SE pkg, 6 way seat, cruise...... and I dive it all over the place, It's been to Hazzard Ga. 3 times for Dukes stuff. I want a General, the A-Team van and a B2TF Delorean to complete my dream garage! Hi all. I've been a member for about six years, but have been a very infrequent visitor. This may be only my third or fourth post. "The Dukes of Hazzard" was part of my early adult life, I was in the Navy at the time. I recall buying only one "People" magazine in my life, and Catherine Bach was featured in it! Being in the Navy then, aboard ship and overseas I often only saw the show when I was home. Since that time, and as it passes I've found myself missing the show (as about 99% of ya'll). Hi everybody, I am new to the Hazzardnet (and new to using computers in general). I am a 46 year old redneck from northwestern Pennsylvania. I have been a huge Dukes fan since I got hooked in 1979. Ever since then I've felt like the people on the show are members of my own family. I have met Tom Wopat and Ben Jones in person and have talked to Sonny Shroyer on the phone. Hi , My name is Rob and I grew up on the dukes of hazzard sort of lol. I got into the show at 5 years old. I owned some of the mego figures Bo N Luke Duke. The general lee boss hogg and roscoe never got the rest. It was a privallege to see one of the general Lee's used during a coy and vance episode. Till this day as an adult I love the dukes.

Hello Everyone: My name is Will and I just discovered this forum thru my Dukes following on Facebook and so glad I did. I live in Fayetteville, NC, 41 years old and am a lifelong Dukes fan. I still have my Dukes of Hazzard watch which still works, my General Lee matchbox car and a polaroid pic of me as a kid with a General Lee in front of Kmart. My biggest regret in life was never getting the original Dukes of Hazzard game and Steering wheel console for my Colecovision. I love learning anything about the Dukes and am looking forward to reading all the great content on here. Thanks for having me and thanks to the people who started HazzardNet and keep it going.

The previous owner had painted it a gold/copper color back in the day with automotive paint(cannot be stripped/etches itself into the plastic). I came across the Lee 1 story and it was perfect. It took parts from numerous kits and hours of replaying scenes from One Armed Bandit. Stories on the background cars to follow.
