Introduce Yourself

I've been reading here on and off for years, and decided it was time to join up. I'm 42 years old and have been a fan at least since the age of 2. Have two boys 9 and 10 who are the biggest fans I've seen since I was their age. I guess it runs in the family. From the age of 2, the oldest understood that watching a police car land in the lake was the funniest thing on TV. The youngest thinks Rosco is the real hero of the show, and makes his brother be both Duke boys so he can chase him. Hey Ya'll love the Dukes and have done for years,im currently building up my collection of memorabilia and have just acquired a Dukes watch with the game on it,its in full working condition andinits original box,after a few hours of searchinggoogle ive been unsucsesfull on finding out any information on it. i was wondering if anyone knew anything about them or have i bought a fake. i would like to know if its of any value or how rare they are. hope someone can help,thanks from a big dukes fan across the pond in the uk

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm a lifelong (well since i was 5) DUKES fan and yes that meansI was 5 when the show started in '79 and like it says in the song "19 Something" 'my first love was Daisy Duke in them cut-off jeans'. I've been a member for a while but it's been a while since I was active until recently. So I hope to be around more often now.

My Gf and I travelled all the way from NYC to be there, it was just the best The cars, the cast fellow fans....We Met Sonny, Rick, John, saw roscoe and Flash.We got to jump into a General Lee and Ride in the parade with some very nice people and had the Greatest time of my life. Hello all....I am selling one of my cars (1967 Corvette) and looking to fill the empty space in my garage with a car I've wanted since I was a kid...a General Lee of course. I have a 1 year old son and am looking to take him with me on weekend cruises with Dad. Can't do that in a Corvette. I thought I'd try this forum and see if anyone knows of one for sale. I search Ebay all the time but good examples are hard to come by. I prefer a GL in great condition with a 440 but I'd consider a 383. Glad to join the forums here! I'm 33, been a Duke fan since watching the series while barely out of diapers! I've had the pleasure of meeting Ben Jones twice. One of my most treasured pictures is him holding my 2yo boy and posing with the "Crazy Cooter smile". I also met Rick Hurst, have a picture of him writing my son and I a ticket while we were sitting in Ben Jones' General Lee! It's good to be here! - John

Bo and Luke were ex cons running moonshine, they were speeding around all over Hazzard County in the General Lee and refused to pull over when the police were chasing them. Usually ending up in a terrible accident that destroyed one of the sheriffs cruisers. They would drive like Maniacs in the city putting the public in harms way. Meanwhile he has this dumbass relative as a sheriff that would not think to arrest the Duke boys at the Boar's Nest while they were getting liquored up to go on a drunk driving expedition.
