There's no place that I'd rather be than right here With my redneck, my white socks, and Blue Ribbon beer The barmaid is mad 'cause some guy made a pass The jukebox is playin' there stands a glass The cigarette smoke kinda hangs in the air Rednecks, white socks and Blue Ribbon beer A cowboy is cussin' the pinball machine A drunk at the bar is gettin noisy and mean Some guy on the phone says, "I'll be home soon, dear." Rednecks, white socks and Blue Ribbon beer No we don't fit in with that white collar crowd We're a little too rowdy and a little too loud But there's no place that I'd rather be than right here With my redneck, my white socks, and Blue Ribbon beer The semis …

For your listening pleasure - and the annoyance of everyone in your household - I present this YouTube link to one of my favorite tunes, "Cotton-Eye Joe" by Rednex. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGreRttdEkM The sound quality is good, though the vid's a little pixilated. I've listened to this song twice in a row today, and now I'm crazed. YEEEHOOOO!! Brian

I know that probably not many people on this forum is into his style of metal music, but I wish to give my condolences to "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's family. I find it very disturbing in today's world where people are turning to violence, especially with firearms. Now, I do not wish to start any personal political views on this forum. So, I'll just leave it as that. Darrell was an amazing musician who had so many great fans who admire his ability to play. May he rest in peace.

Well the world of Country music lost a great and talented artist...as well as a great legend in George Jones who passed away yesterday at the age of 81. What the world loses, heaven gains. RIP George Jones...you will always be missed. \ (The remark made beneath the video part on Youtube is worth the read...background on Alan Jackson and George Jones on that night. Would write it, but they wrote it better than I could remember it.)I remember watching that award show and being so proud to be a Alan Jackson fan and of AJ for standing up for what he believed in. George Jones was invited to sing his current song at the time "Choices" but was told he could only play part of…

there are many songs I listen to but there are a few that just stay in my head and I end up randomly singing them in my head. The List: * 'At the sound of the tone' John Schneider * 'Good Times' Anita Cochran * 'Carrying on' John Schneider & Tom Wopat * 'It will rain' Bruno Mars * 'Boulder to Birmingham' The version on the show I think there's more but this is all that comes to mind.

Hey ya'll! I am currently trying to help Stella Parton promote her music! I figure if I can get enough interest NOW then when her new cd comes out, there would be more of an interest than usual. SO ya'll head on over to www.myspace.com/stellaparton and give her a listen!!! Heck, she deserves it.... she was the first country star to appear on the Dukes (episode 10 Deputy Dukes)... so if you need a reason to listen, listen for appriciation!!!! You can tell me what you think here. Wanna know what you thought overall, if you would ever buy her cd, if you think you know someon that would like it, is she someone you would go see in concert, etc, etc.

Listening to each track, I could tell this record was a challenge and fun for the band. =) They did covers of Beatles, The Who, Blind Faith, Willie Dixon, Ray Charles/Humble Pie, Allman Brothers, Procal Harum, Lovin’ Spoons, Jimmie Hendrix, Pretty Things, Jethro Tull, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Free and the last tune- a bluesy remake of a Styx’s classic. Some of the royalties will be donated to Willie Dixon Blues Heaven Foundation. And very reasonably priced at $11.99. Daney

I just met a guy who just retired from being a sound man in Nashville for 35 years and still lives there. He has worked with just about every star I ever loved including Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings and John Schneider. He told me a lot of stories and I'll see him again tomorrow to hear some more. I suppose I shouldn't repeat them though! It sure was cool to hear from someone who has worked with Waylon and Bo!

Hello everyone... being a relative new citizen to the forums on HazzardNet, I've deliberated for a while on making a forum thread of my own, but what the heck, it can't hurt.. This is for all of you, whoever you might be, that took the challenge to sing/play/or perform in front of a number of people, be it at a concert venue, or singing karaoke at the bar. I HONOR YOU! Anyone care to share any stories or tear-jerking or embarrassing moments? * Well, I suppose I'll share a little bit about myself first. I've been in a professional Christian band for a year now, but I have been involved in music ... oh for a coon's age, starting with the tender age of six, when I deci…

Yesterday, I was in the music and dvd exchange place called the "The Exchange" and I found Micheal Bolton's "Time, Love and Tenderness" for only one dollar and I just had to get that one. I don't know who would remember this but at one time Micheal Bolton had long hair and it look really good on him and them he cut it short.

A friend of mine is in this band called The Clarences. The have some really really catchy tunes. I just thought I would share them with the HazzardNet Community. If your interested in finding some new catchy tunes, please do take the time to check out their power-pop-rock tunes on their official myspace page located at: myspacedotcom/theclarences (since we are not allowed to post links without permission, I figured I would just do it that way)
