Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I've had these pictures for a few weeks and figured it would be a good time to get them out there. Several of you should see this exact site in the movie. This is walking distance from a friends house.... thought it was pretty cool! Enjoy!

Someone on the Dukes Yahoo Group had this to say about the film So I saw the movie tonight as a Sneak Preview... I must say it is a darn fine flick. There's action, lots of comedy, and crazy ol' car stunts. But there is a problem. There's no "Duke" charm. None, Zip. Zilch. IT doesn't capture the good heartedness of the original. And yes, that PG-13 is a strong PG-13 rating. There's no if, ands, or buts about it. The reason I liked it is due to the fact that I have separated it from the Duke world we all know and love. I just saw the very first Dukes show on Bravo TV in the UK. I have never seen it before. It was kind of different to the shows they did later on in LA. I thought it was not so much of a spoof when it started like the LA shows were. Things in TV shows change a bit from when they start to when the finish. Like new writers maybe brought in and new people might join the cast and things that were cool and hip one year may not be so hip next year so they change thing . I think it was big of him to go to the premiere - I think it was a tough spot to be in and obviously took a lot of effort with his schedule and all. I caught most of it, and the stunt scenes look very cool. Saw another chase scene that hadn't been shown on the previews yet, and it was wild. The bar fight scene looked like good ol' mayhem too. But no matter how many times they show Jessica with her "Something bounced up into my undercarriage" line, it doesn't improve. Anybody else see it? Whad'ja think? I just saw a commercial for a new episode of Reel Comedy on Comedy Central featuring the cast of The Dukes of Hazzard about the new movie. It will be on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm

But who Didnt show? according to the pics i didnt see james best, tom wopat, etc. What the hell? i can understand Ben Jones Not wanting to goto the flick. but damn, John tears up in the general lee. what gives? anyone have any further info on this? im gone. -Brad

Last night I attended the "Dukes of Hazzard" movie premiere in Hollywood and had a fantastic time. It took all day to get there, actually all day and half the day before and half of today...long story! Quick review: Amazing car work in the movie. The language is not always great, but the fun is there as is the BO/Luke relationship. First of all he didn't look good at all and he seemed so spaced out as if he had been on Willie's bus to long or maybe the year's of drug use has toke it toll everytime Jay asked a question he would answer it but he would be looking like up inseted at Jay it was real sad to watch him.
