Last night at a friend of mines house, she showed me a website from a auto body and graphic design shop in Phenoix, AZ. I guess it's a pretty well known one because they created the cars for I-Robot, Demolition Man and some other movie I've never heard of. On the site they talked about how they were contracted by Warner Bros. to design a "more contemporary" General Lee for the movie. They actually built three of them and I guess Warner Bros. were actually seriously considering using their version but a few months before they started filming they changed their minds and decided to stick with the real General. Thanks to many for providing links to the premier pics pages. it was awsome to see that the dukes is now Officially a movie. But who Didnt show? according to the pics i didnt see james best, tom wopat, etc. What the hell? i can understand Ben Jones Not wanting to goto the flick. but damn, John tears up in the general lee. what gives? anyone have any further info on this? im gone. -Brad

I just saw a commercial for a new episode of Reel Comedy on Comedy Central featuring the cast of The Dukes of Hazzard about the new movie. It will be on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm

Jay said Willie Nelson is singing the theme tune. (The one that sounds the same as the tv theme tune from the tv show, not the rock one by cage 9. ) and that he is also the narretor. I think after seeing the trailer that he is re-doing the theme tune. I still could not be true.

I think I might of made sence of why the director brought so much filth into Hazzard county IT IS NOT MEANT FOR US Put your self in the directors shoes. Your strictly making this movie for the money. You basicly have two target audiances 1 Dukes Fans. 2 Super Trupers/ Broken Lizard American Pie Jacka** Fans. They cleaned up the theater version to an extent so Dukes fans wouldn't outrage at WB but still left some stuff in for the other target audiance The point Im trying to make is that producers knew the Super Trupers/ Broken Lizard American Pie Jacka** Fans would be disapointed if it wasn't a dirty movie Therefore the unrated DVD is for them; not us

Someone on the Dukes Yahoo Group had this to say about the film So I saw the movie tonight as a Sneak Preview... I must say it is a darn fine flick. There's action, lots of comedy, and crazy ol' car stunts. But there is a problem. There's no "Duke" charm. None, Zip. Zilch. IT doesn't capture the good heartedness of the original. It would be crazy not to notice the resemblance that Tom Welling of Smallville bears to a young John Schneider. After seeing the first season on DVD it was uncanny...The kid just needs blonde hair. I took the liberty of doing a little photoshop to prove my point. Don't know how to post pics on this site but if someone will let me know I will post it...Casting people need to see this!!!!

I watched the dukes on tv and didnt even miss one episode,i was hooked :-D.Now about this new movie well nothing will beat the original show but all i will say is this,it will be a good perv to watch daisy (jessica) .. and it would be nice to see the old general getting airborn again....(lets hope theres alot of that).
