All this talk about sex ,drugs and profanity language is so outragious.When did tarnishing the dukes of hazzard become the topic of this forum??? Our opinions are suppose to be about the new movie,not trashing the original t.v. series,this is so wrong! In our childhood, we couldn't wait to sit in front of the tube and watch the dukes of hazzard! As adults,we still get a kick out of it! It looks as if Warner brothers has purchased two 30 second spots for the Superbowl as reported on superbowl-ads.com. One presumably for Batman and the other for Dukes of Hazzard. Where are Coy & Vance now? Are they still making shows? Are they living in California? Any info...???

Well when we were done with the scene last Saturday they bidded ALL EXTRAS fairwell and gave us a big thankyou. Said the actors would finish up this week and then everyone would be gone. Well this morning I got a call from one of the P A's and he asked me to come back to Clinton for Saturday . Told me to wear the exact same thing from last week. Soooo the filming still goes on. The movie is gonna be action, adventure and comedy (more).with the same theme song. Hopefully more news later

Well after all i have read about Jessica Simpson snubbing her nose at people during filming and all, it is in my best saying....GO TO HELL!!!! She does not realize what type of role she has gotten as I am sure she was only 2 when the Dukes of Hazzard premeired.... I have seen numerous pictures of the filming and I still believe Scott and Knoxville are not Bo and Luke but they are not as bad as I was once percieving. Well anyhow I have a list of people here that should have been casted for Daisy. Please give me some feedback on who should have played Daisy besides Bimbo Simpson. Thanks, The Hazzard Fanatic

Where did they get the cars for the movie? Did they buy some from people who had them fixed up or did they find a few junkers and have a local body shop do the work?

I have been reading all the post of us whining and bitc#!*g, that the characters wont be in the movie, no flag, jessica is rude, ok so what. First off I love the originals, but how can you feasably put john, tom, cathy, ben, sonny, james, flash (god rest his furry soul), in the movie. It would be a distraction, yes we want to see them, but people it is not their show, it is the property of the warner bros., all they were is actors. Also when they were in the show, they usually complained about the script, (they had many points), the effects, the editing, and the money from the toys, that is why we got coy and vance in the first place. I heard that in the last season or two they started to use model cars instead of actually performing stunts. Does anybody know which season this started happening and does anybody know where I can see a clip? The idea sounds horrific, but I'd like to get a look anyway.

Does anyone know if, when, or where they are filming this weekend?

I know season 5 of the Dukes of Hazzard starts with Coy & Vance as replacements till much later in the season when Bo & Luke return. I was curious if all 4 ever appeared in the same episode? I would assume if this ever happened it happened during the episode Bo & Luke returned.

Ok guys, I have been reading a lot of posts about the new movie. People are upset about the cast and compare them to the TV show actors. First things first, I love the show as much as anyone but lets be truthful. Some of the actors were bad...very bad. John Scheinder and Catherine Bach are probably two of the worst actors ever. Bach looked good but, not that great. Even if Jessica Simpson can't act she can't be as bad as Bach. Lets face it, she looks way better than Bach did in the show. The same goes for Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville. A mean we are not talking about Macbeth here. I will have to say that Uncle Jesse, Roscoe and Boss Hogg were fantastic …

my idea is that this movie should be more of a mesh of the first 2 episodes of the show, and the movie that this show was inspired by, i tink it was called the moonshiners or moon shine runners, something like that.

Official word is that Warner Brothers has 2 movie trailers that will premiere at the superbowl, one is the new full lenght trailer for Batman Begins and the other is what is called a teaser for the dukes of hazzard. Batman begins will be 2 1/2 minutes long while the DOH Teaser will be less than 30 seconds
