Hey all... I am goin' to see Lynyrd Skynyrd tomorrow night right here in Long Island...I have seen them at least a dozen times since the Tribute tour in 87 ,when they got back together 10 years after the plane crash..I think I am excited about this one show more than alot of the others, I am taking my 10 year old daughter to her first concert. She is just as excited as me, she has been talking about it all summer..Now the time is here to finally go, what a way for ther to end the summer... Darrell

While I was reading the meeting minutes - I couldn't help myself - I started laughing - due to the fact that you say you mess up the forum enough yourselfs. I think that you should email me that whole conversation that you had so that I can save it to a computer disk and transport it to my computer which isn't on the net.But then I would need to have someone let me know they are going to emasil it to me so it doesn't end up in the junk mail pile.

Hey everybody. I was just wondering what you all thought of the Dukes DVDs. I can't tell you how happy I am to have it. Now I just hope they put out the rest of the series. I think WB is going to be really wary of putting the Coy and Vance season out, but they needn't worry about me buying it, cause I've got to have the entire series! What do ya'll think? P.S. I think that the production value of the DVD set is outstanding. They could've given us JUST the shows, but instead they threw in a little more. Awesome!

I was originally trying to find out why my two 1981 General Lee Ertl 1/64 cars where different (made in different countries, molded different, different 01 stickers, and they are not the 1997 release they are original 81s), but stumbled onto you folks! Sorry if I seem daft, I assume there actually is a Hazzard County in USA?? If so, what is the Vibe on the Dukes there ? Is it like living in Hazzard for real ? (ish of course) Is it a typical Redneck stylee town ?? Any pictures?

I am just wondering what the episode is called where the Dukes first buy the Challenger and turn in into the Gerneral Lee? I always thought that that should have been the very first episode but I don't know what it is called and I don't know what season it is from. I just got my dvd set this past Friday and love it - but I still want to know about the episode where the Dukes build the General. Anyone care to fill me in - would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone tell me how many episodes of the Duke is in the first season of the show. I am still waiting to get my copy that I prepaid for - it just hasn't come in yet. But I want to know because I want to set apart some of my time to be able to watch the show with some of my friends as well as to let them know how many eps there are in the first season. Also - Is there a special disk with the set for bloopers and such, as well as other info regarding how the show was made. Plus - does the Movie "Retun to hazzard "come with the set. I just have a question, I am not if anyone can help me but, its worth a shot. My favorite episode is "The Ghost of General Lee" and it was part of season two. I was wondering if anyone knows if they will come out with season two on tape or VHS? Or if it is out or anything? I love that one so much...I want it!

I just saw the video on CMT from Mark Wills - 19 Somethin'. He drives up in the General Lee . The band is at a drive-in and behind them is the General Lee and black trans am - Bandit's T/A . Great song about growing up in the 70's as a kid and then a teen in the 80's. That is my generation in the song, kid in the 70's, teen in 80's...Can't say enough about it...It might an old song, but that was the first time I saw the video.. Darrell

Hey Y'all Just want to say hi to everyone and hope to make some friends on here. I started watching the Dukes when it came out and was sad when it ended. There will never be another show like DOH again. I love this site, seems like the best one other than Ben Jones. Does anyone know of others? with a forum or message board? Alot of them seem not to be updated in a long time. Does anyone belong to any of the Yahoo groups? I belong to few, but nobody seems to post anything new ... Did anyone on here attend Dukesfest a couple of weeks ago at Bristol ? If anyone did I would love to hear how it was.. Also did anybody see the DOH on the Grand Ol Opry ? I haven't been able to watch it since they took it off CMT and put it on GAC. My cable co. doesn't carry GMC..... Darrell

In the current issue of Mopar Muscle, on newstands now through 09/14, there's a picture on page 8 of a German Shepard sittin' behind the wheel of a General Lee. It's a cute picture - the dog looks like he just pulled the car up and parked it. Anyhow, they got a caption contest goin' on for this photo - no big prize, but the winner gets their name in the magazine, and a small gift of some sort.
