Hi! I am new to HazzardNet, and I am a big fan of Dukes Of Hazzard. I have all 7 seasons and the two reunion movies all on DVD. I am going to try to tackle the huge task of making my own map of Hazzard County. I am not going in order of episodes, but skipping around to perhaps catch any inconsistencies . For my map I am including roads, water, landforms, villages/place names, landmarks, businesses, citizens, and farms with the proper land owners. One thing I am trying to drill into my brain are that counties are BIG. And that is going to be in my mind throughout this entire project. Here it is December 5 on the southern shore of Lake Erie between Cleveland and Buffalo and we just had our first snowfall. Normally by now, we'd have two feet of the white stuff, although much of that would have melted. However, our first snow came today at 4pm (EST). I saw in the newspaper that Houston got snow on Friday. I saw on the national news that Georgia, Alabama and other states in the south got snow Friday also. If not Friday, then Saturday morning. Think about that. How often is it that the Deep South of Dixie gets snow BEFORE parts of the Great Lakes? Has that ever happened before? I don't know about you folks but I find this absolutely amazing.

Hey y'all, I was looking through my stuff the other day and realized I'd lost my Season 1 DVD, so my question is, does Shout! Factory still sell the Dukes of Hazzard on DVD? And if so where can I find them, I looked on Amazon but some of the descriptions are quite vague and I don't want to buy a Boxset for the wrong Region, any help would be greatly appreciated. Ha! Anyone else have Time Warner standard cable? I do and where I live I can no longer get CMT. They've switched it to a channel that you have to have a digital box to get. I am seriously upset. I know this isn't a problem that can be fixed but I just thought I'd let everyone know.

I am just wondering what the episode is called where the Dukes first buy the Challenger and turn in into the Gerneral Lee? I always thought that that should have been the very first episode but I don't know what it is called and I don't know what season it is from.
