I just had to write this to see if other old school Dukes fans who use to play Bo and Luke or Daisy when we were kids have kids who do it now? My 9 year old son who has really gotten into the show and the games (which he is playing on Playstation as we speak) is now only wanting to get into the car thru the window! He thinks its the coolest thing to do it this way because thats how the Duke boys do it. I just love it because in this day 'n' age there are so many things he could be emulating and I love that he is picking the Dukes to emulate. Did Bo & Luke have a job or did they live off of Daisy's waitress job? Uncle Jesse had the farm but they didn't farm anything that I know of. I know they often got accused of running moonshine but that was not their profession. I know they got prize money from races, and they sometimes did car repairs, and sometimes they got rewards from their adventures, but it would be hard to live like that. Just wondering if they ever alluded to what they did for a living.

So far, I have met three "famous" people in my life, as I can immediately recall. Only one of the three are DOH related: James Best (When I was about 5 or 6 years old) "Doctor Dirty" John Valby (At one of his concerts, while buying one of his CD's) Zora Arkus Duntov (The "Father" of the Chevrolet Corvette.) I'm just wondering if anyone has met anyone famous? Or not so famous?

Here's something to look for and enjoy. Tonight, while watching "The Great Insurance Fraud" C&V episode on CMT, there was a moment worth my while. Allow me to share. The bad guy sneaks up on Vance and karate-chops him from behind. Vance keels over and bonks his head on the table, and lays there lifelessly. YEEHAAA!!! Awright, let's see that again!! *WHACK!* *THUD!!* I used to shun the Coy and Vance episodes, but now I'll tune in just to see 'em get roughed up by the bad guys du jour. I'm a school and community liaison and a certified teacher. My job is to help coordinate after school programs in 117 schools in our county. Love my job. Love it love it! I've been avoiding saying this but I'm really hurting here. Where have all my HazzardNet friends gone? Why isn't anybody loyal anymore?

Unless you pay close attention, you may think that Cooter always wears the same hat (probably the one in the title sequence). Bo and Luke even chat about Cooter wearing the same old hat in 'Welcome Back Bo and Luke'. But if you DO pay close attention, you'll know that that Cooter wears no less than 9 different caps during the run of the 7 seasons. If you count the two reunion movies, then the total is 11. For those paying attention to the home page, y'all know we're listing the Boar's Nests we can find that may relate to the Dukes of Hazzard in some way. I'll keep track of 'em here. Is there a particular place to discuss the Reunion Episode? It really bothered me how only Bo drove on the reunion. Does anyone have any info on why this is?

I need the name of an episode where there was a good bit of ambient noise/music in the Boar's Nest without specific dialog. What I want to do is creat a loop of noise to play inside the Noar's Nest model I am currently building. When anyone gets their face close to the model to look at details, I want them to hear the 'good times' going on inside. mark

hello fellow duke fans. New member here. Have been a fan of the show for a while now. Use to watch it every night after college class at 12AM on CMT until it went too 7Pm and im in class then But yea the best show on tv. Saw the movie, it was good, but just not the same. Also I live about 2 hrs from covington Georgia where the show was filmed. And Im planning to save up for an old dodge charger and make my own general lee. Josh

Hey guys I was watching Daisy's Shotgun Wedding earlier and noticed that the Beaudry's shack is located in Lake Sherwood.And from various shots it seems like the shack is located behind the Duke barn.I can't do any screen caps because it's on video but if someone could post a couple of screen caps during the fight scene at the end,its when Luke goes to grab Pa Beaudry and pushes him out of the way to go for the brother. Someone might be able to recognise the former farm location from the shot of Bo and Luke flying by in the ultralights.

I know this isn't like Bo or LUke, but I was wondering if ya'll thought that maybe Rosco was cute too?

Things have been pretty quiet here so I was thinking about starting a facebook account. I've never had one but would only use it for Dukes stuff. I see HazzardNet is connected to facebook somehow but is it as easy to navigate as HN for a low tech guy like me?

Hey y'all I was working on my General Lee bike earlier,and my mom came out and said "I think your a little obsessed with the Dukes of Hazzard". I thought about that statement,and realized that I'm fairly obsessed. I've got all seven seasons,the 2 reunion DVD's,some of the episodes on video,some recorded from years ago when it was on over here,I had a General Lee bike which was stolen and replaced,I'm in the process of making a Rosco bike,my bedroom is orange and covered in Dukes posters and pictures.Sorrell Booke inspired me to become an actor (I'll never be as good as him, that's impossible) and I'd love to be a stuntman thanks to Paul Baxley...the list goes on and on. …

I know where I live it is....all kinds of convinient back roads to drive off on to with lots of fun shortcuts and dips and humps to jump over. I may not have ramped very high because my little 82 Corolla would never handle it, but I have had him flyin a few times. Plus there's always someone around to have a race with and around here a lot of people ever talk like the country boys do. With a lot of "improper" english. I even have my own CB...although, it's not in my car....yet...
