Greetings all and great website! I hope others enjoy this post. Let's track down this instrumental music! I think everyone wants to have that infamous instrumental music played on the first 6 episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard" that was filmed in Covington, GA before moving to California. Especially the FIRST episode during the chase scenes. Well, still no luck. BUT, I came across a Waylon Jennings tune called - "Big Ball In Cowtown". It's on his 1976 'live' album. This song sounds VERY & EXTREMELY similar to the instrumental music. Once you hear this song, you'll agree. I bet this song was the influence for the instrumental music. -Dar. Has anyone ever experienced them? the worst thing that ever happened to me is IO was almost pulled of my bed... well it was a cot, it was when my mom was alive and my dad and I stayed with her so the nurses would bring in a cot at night. and one night I just felt something grab my feet and kept pulling. other times id just get hit with intense fear sometimes id get chills and very rarely id see dark shadows through the corners f my eyes.

You can feel that hint of Fall trying to come back around to the hills here in Hazzard County! Soon the leaves will change color and the afternoons will get cooler. I just ordered the Dixie horn from JC Whitneys the same place where the DOH show got their dixie horns from. Im really excited about having it installed on my car. Does anybody have one on their car and if so does it sound good?

Some of you may have read my post. I am a crazy fan of the Dukes from Rosario, Argentina. Two years ago, I bought the entire series, but I was a victim of a scam. My dvd's are not subtitled into Spanish, maybe they are not originals, but I paid the price of the originals! My problem is: I've searched the length and width of the web and only found subtitles for the first season. I can't find the subtitles of the season 2 to 7. And I feel very sad. I love the Dukes and everything that is relevant to it. I am transported to my childhood, adolescence, when I felt very happy. The only hope I have is you could extract the subtitles in Spanish from your own copy, i don´t know h…

I've been thinking lately how I'll never own a repicla of any vehicle from the show then it hit me.....I love dirt bikes. I have since I was little. Maybe I should consider making a replica of Mix Tisdales motorcycle. Is it possible to find out what year and engine size it was? Im no Cooter but I am good enough with dirt bikes to fix one up if I could get one that was the right model and year. I'm embarrassed I can't tell what it is by just seeing it but since I can't I hope someone can help. THANKS

Every page I goto, it has the yellow ActiveX bar at the top. I click on it and theres not much information about it ut I click OK but it still pops up. I get it everytime. It;s only on this site. I'm using Internet Explorer. I'm gonna sign out in sign back in on Netscape. Edit: I'm using Netscape and I also get an error: "Additional plugins are requried to display all the media on this page" I click the Install Missing Pluins button but it says that "No suitable plugins were found" I'm gonna sign in on Firefox. 2nd Edit: I'm using Firefox and don't seem to have the error. Guess I should have used Firefox before.

I am an old fan...and would like to know where specifically in California did they film the original series, well besides Hollywood. I am looking for specific location so I can go see if there is anything left. I understand the fires last year destroyed alot of it. So I would need to know what little town. valley name, landmark of any kind etc so I can locate the area in the country that they did most of the chase scenes. Thanks In advance

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anybody had photos or a sketched map of the town of hazzard as used in the Dukes of Hazzard tv show. I am trying to one day build a dioramma of the town, but it's hard to try to piece together what buildings look like let alone where they are, from just watching the show, and it doesn't help they drive in circles. OMG HazzardNet family and friends... I saw the funniest thing. There was a video of this girl in a bikini in the woods. She said "So. A fellow hiker just made fun of my stretch marks. One day a girl was sitting at home watching Dukes of Hazzard, All of a sudden, the channel went all fizzy then went out completely, the girl was CRUSHED!!! Her FAVORITE SHOW GONE!!! 'Ow well' she thought 'I still have Hazzardnet' so she went to go online... it turns out her COMPUTER HAD A VIRUS... and was busted. Now she can only use the computer when she goes to the library, and she can't go to the library often... This is my story... I know... Horrific. I should be back in the scene shortly. I know I haven't been around much in the past few years (computer problems, lack of internet), but I just thought I'd mention, February is the month of my tenth anneversary of being an Hnet member! I believe the exact date is Feb 3 or Feb 4.
