You know the famous jump at the very starting of the "One Armed Bandits" episode? What street in Covington is that on?

I started watching the 2005 movie and turned it off after a few minutes, and just watched the whole thing today. I don't even recognise as The Dukes Of Hazzard; very unlike the show. I guess they watched the show, took some quick notes then decided to do a movie, which is very cheesy and inappropriate.

Yes, it's true. For anyone who missed the announcement on our homepage, the HazzardNet staff (well, most of it ) got together and nominated the employee of the month ( namely, the one who wasn't around to defend herself.) I checked out the Facebook page for Pepsi Throwback tonight, and was completely surprised to find a reference to our favorite TV show! Take a look, it's near the bottom - one of the earliest posts on the page. http://www.facebook.com/pepsithrowback?ref=mf&v=wall (I think you have to be a Facebook member to see it) It said: "Let's settle this once and for all. I was snoopin around on the Hazzard site and stumbled into the Chatroom on HazzardNet. Of course, no one was there----unless y'all are hiding from me ! So I checked out the "Chat Times" in the forum and noticed the dates of the last posts. It seemed that no one really goes in there which lead me to post this question in the "General Discussion" area in hopes that more people just might read it. I was wondering if y'all were interested in a Live chat in the HazzardNet Chatroom? Watching "The Great Santa Claus Chase" makes me think something was cut out on the DVD. During the opening before the theme starts Cletus says, "is nothing sacred", then during the episode the scene is never shown. Anybody else catch this? Atlfan

There was a post in the movie section, calling the show campy. I agree the show was campy. At first all it was to be was a mid season filler, which means it was doomed from the start, the fact it lasted 7 years is a miracle. To make the movie accurate, they had to use younger actors, Johnny knoxville as Luke, wasnt really a good idea, he has more of Bo's personality, just give him a blond wig. But quit damning the movie, we are beginning to sound like star wars fans here, (remember them, we used to beat them up, and call them geeks). Hey y'all i was just watching a few episodes and i was laughing hard at boss and rosco and it get me thinking...... What is your favorite funny moment from the dukes?? For example one of mine: The season 5 credits with coy and vance crack me up. I dont think they had much action footage of the two and it showed. You know its not a good start when the most you can show of Christopher Mayer is him running to jack up the car! I dunno, i found it hilarious.

There was an item on the news last night about a dog and her nine puppies being rescued from neglectful owners. The puppies were infested with maggots and five of them had to be put down. Then in the morning paper, there was a small article about them and a picture of the mama dog, Heidi, and her four remaining puppies, Daisy, Bo, Luke, and Boss Hogg, who are now with a foster family. We're trying to include the article and picture, but we can't figure out how to post it.

On Friday... UTEP (The University of Texas at El Paso) had their homecoming parade. My husband works for the university so naturally he had a front row seat to the festivities. Among the old time cars and mustangs that were featured was one he had to mention... At the front of the parade was a familiar site.. a orange stock car with big 01 on the side... yup! The General Lee in all its glory, complete with Dixie horn and big Confederate flag) was the leader! The driver behind it periodically blasted the Dixie horn, much to the amusement of the gathered crowd... I just thought that was pretty cool and I had to share it! Jax

Hey y'all another post! New question.... If you could quit your job now, and get your dream job, what job would that be? I myself have and still aspire to work in films. I've had a few years of experience with cameras, editing, sound work, and very very light acting. To sum it up it was the best experience of my life, and if I could find the right outlet to be able to achieve this again, I wouldn't blink twice.

I went to Hollywood to be amongst the stars, Walked the Boulevard dodging rich man cars. I got in trouble trespassing on a Warner Brothers set, Went back again on a homeless buddies bet.
