Hello all, This is my first post here at the HazzardNet, and I'm happy to see that there are quite a few Duke fans around! I was just curious to see if anyone has, or knows someone who has, a 1969 Dodge Charger. I can do the paint job, install the dixie horn, and apply the decals. So, I'm lookin' for a Charger that runs fairly well with a descent body. Interior is not that big of a deal neither, I can take care of that also. I've been checkin' Ebay off n' on with no real luck. I've seen a few chargers but I would have to sell my left kidney to pay for it, and then some, . Any info would be greatly appreciated & thank you for your time! Kindest Regards, Aaron dunns…

I have just found out that my dixie air horn does not fit my car, so I will have to get an electronic version instead. It is not the same I know but what else can I do, I cannot get a bigger car. It has 5 plastic trumpets, a 12V compressor, a relay, hose and instructions as standard. But I also have some 30A fuses, a fuse holder and a switch. Also, if anyone is interested, I have made a metal custom bracket designed to hold all of the trumpets in many arrangments. I am looking in the region of around 75 US Dollars for the lot. It has never been used once, it is brand new, in perfect condition, and comes with the parts that are not normally included. All that is neede…

Heya'll, Im sure everyone remembers Cale Yarborough being in a few Dukes of Hazzard Episodes. He was a GREAT nascar racer for many years and he was AWESOME in the Dukes Episodes, he fit in them as good as Ol' Waylon, God Rest him. So... I was going through my community press this morning, (not something I usually do, but Im rather sick and needed some reading material away from the pc) and I came across a page titled "25 Years Ago". Just outta curiosity I began scanning through. 25 years ago would put us at 1983, three years before I was even born. As I scanned down, I was so happy to find an artical, I was not only Happy, I was SUPRISED. The artical read Cale Yarborou…

Hey y'all! Since I started working on bikes, I've picked up a few tricks and come up with a few myself. Here's one that I tried recently. I came home from a months holiday down the country on Sunday. I left two parts bikes sitting outside, and when I got home nuts and bolts had seized on them. WD40 partially worked, but it was still a struggle. Then I remember hearing that cola is meant to be good at loosening up rusted and seized bolts. I was a little skeptical, but went out to buy a could bottles of various sodas. My dad suggested I try beer, because he thought that any carbonated drink would work. I set up four different containers with four different drinks. Cola, die…

I've decided that instead of spamming the HazzardNet Garage section of the forums, all new projects will appear here. Although I'm in my final year of school, with big exams at the end of the year, I hope to build a new wacky bike at least once every three months. This is a list of potential projects that I'd like to try and build. Some of these I found on the Internet (mainly instructables.com) but most of these are entirely original. -Rollover Bike -Wheelchair Bike II -Recumbent Bike III -Swing Bike -Ski Bike II -Granny Cruiser -Shopping Cart Trailer -Pedal Go Kart -Prone Bike -Tow Truck Bike -Redneck Rollercoaster Bike -Hand Powered Unicycle -Cargo Bike / Shopping Cart…

Hey ya'll. Cricket use to be green but then I gave him a maroon paint job. I'm getting a little tired of the maroon. What do you think about me changing him back to green again?

I saw one setting at our local car lot, right down below my house, and I looked as we were driving by on the bus and it looked exactly like the one used in the one with the car strippers, can't remember the name of the episode, i believe it might have been arrest Jesse Duke.

Wonder if the Duke boys would have jumped this around Hazzard. I love that the stripes follow the curve of the body. Hope it gets restored with that paint job. Heck put the 1776 flag on the roof and call it General Washington.

My first car that my dad bought me for my 16th birthday was a 1966 Ford Mustang GT (is there any other?) It was maroon with dark red leather and wood interior. She wore wide white letter tires with real wire hub caps and she was powered by a 289 high performance engine with a 4 barrel carberator. She looked good and was fast too! I really loved that car and actually drove her for about 6 years before my dad bought me a 1973 Chevrolet Nova (that I fell in love with at first sight!) But we kept the mustang in the family and my dad drove her for another 6 years.

I know there are at least 2 General Lee's in the area. I was wondering if they post up on here? I'm usually up @ the "83rd Ave & Beardsley" carshow on Saturdays. So if any of you "Hazzard" replica owners live in the area, message me. It'd be cool to get together.

hey hey, I was just curious about your people's experiences with online fraud / bad purchases... if any of you have actually been put in that situation -- I have... I've bought a salvaged $15,000 car on ebay, only to find out it was totalled while being transported. Looking forward to your feedback!!

This is my favorite car that I have owned so far at least this one is american made and I love it as much as if it was a General Lee and been working on undercoating it with POR 15 and putting Castrol GTX High Mileage Oil in her and she's been running like a champ since I bought her 2yrs ago and have. Can not wait for summer weather to come so I can start undercoating her with POR 15 which is extremely good at stopping rust. I have just hit 77,450 miles with her, the only thing I have replaced is the exhaust hanger and gotta replace the Blower Motor Resistor as soon as I can.
