It was 10 years ago today when the Dukes began reairing again on TNN (The Nashville Network), I kept the exact day it was & it was so exciting!

I'm watching season 5 now and was wondering what car Coy and Vance were driving when they got to Hazzard. It was dark blue with a white stripe down the middle.

Hey Hoss, since you are so good at posting screenshots (or screengrabs or whatever they're called) would you consider a funny caption contest? Find something that could potentially be funny and post it and then we (and you too) can respond with a funny caption. Do it once a week or once a month or randomly whenever you want. If you like the idea start a seperate thread from this one. Since you'll be doing all the work your name should be on the headline. Should it be limited to 2 responses per person? If you don't like the idea, no problem. It's just a thought.

Has anybody, besides me, got/read Ben Jones' book, Redneck Boy In The Promise Land, The confessions of Crazy Cooter. ? I've got it and it's ok but no big deal. He just talks about how it was growing up etc. It's a big thick book too. It turns out Ben Jones is a Leftist, cashing in on looking like a conservative. There's a lot of that going around these days in radio, TV, etc. I call them CONservatives….with emphasis on the CON! ( You know like the supposedly CONservative talk show hosts, etc.) They know where the money's at and so they sell out their liberal values to make a buck! IS the book set 4 sigle or dubble sided sets?

Today is the 40th anniversary of the first time the greatest television show in history appeared on screen. I didn't see it but I remember people talking about it for awhile so a month later I started watching and haven't stopped and never will stop. Thanks to the creators, stars, production team, stunt people and everybody else who has brought 4 decades of fun and joy into my life.

I have been wondering this for awhile. I have been watching a lot of Dukes of Hazzard lately.

Went to a Brad Paisley concert last night in Tampa; in addition to it being a great show, the title song from his new album has a nice little Dukes tribute. Take a look at the chorus below. I sometimes drive an ATV, up at a cabin by country roads. I was wondering how I can drive like the Dukes and do jumps with the ATV like the Dukes. I'm planning on practicing.

hi guys I wonder put idea thread here and when I watch DOH everynight at 6pm and then later watch other tv show and then going bed then next morning and also are you still feeling voice running in your mind? my voice mind still running said "welcome to hazzard county" and sheriff rosco coltrane chase dukes like jump and I can feeling in my mind said "welcome to hazzard county and rosco said ghkuu... keeping said...." not know why I can still feeling voice in my mind.. not stopping... I know about Ben Jones leaving the show temporarily over a dispute. But how was Cooter's absence explained in the show when his cousins filled in for him? I know James Best's absence was written in as Rosco went to Atlanta to retrain at the police academy.

I have 107 episodes on DVD because I bought seasons 1-5 all at once when I got my income tax check just was at Wal-Mart one night really late and seen them al lthere, and just threw all of them in the cart along with some Ren & Stimpy DVD's..... anyway, I just was wondering if there was any answer about when I can expect to see seasons 6 and 7 out on DVD? I know that like 4 and 5 came out fairly recently it seems from some of the info Ive seen online about the DVD releases..... but I cant seem to find any info about when seasons 6 and 7 will be out so I can hurry up and complete my collection. Hello everybody, this is my first post on this forum after just reading it for months now. I'am not sure if this is the correct place to post this question so i apologise if im wrong, i couldnt find anywhere for specific DVD related discussion. I'am considering buying the series 7 DVD box set as i already own the rest but i was wondering if you could give me some help with the episode listings. The dvd contains the first 17 episodes of the season but ends on The Haunting of J.D. Hogg. But according to wiki, imdb and tv.com there was at least 4 more episodes in S7 that dont seem to be on my dvd.....can anyone explain this ? (here is a link to the S7 dvd i bought) http…

In the episode Duke of Duke, Jesse tells Bo and Luke that Gaylord is their 3rd cousin then Daisy adds he is "kin on Grandpa Henshaw's side meaning he ain't blood kin" but his last name is Duke. Does anybody have an explanation for this confusing relation explanation?

I would like to recreate the intro/theme song for the Dukes of Hazzard. Does anyone know where those clips come from? I know that the long jump at the start comes from Season 2 Episode 7 at 33:35 Other than that I have no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Y'all remember there being 2 Sheriff's of Hatchapee County? Sheriff Emmitt "Spike" Loomis and Sheriff Floyd? Well, my theory about this is that maybe Sheriff Emmitt "Spike" Loomis got his pension retired and stayed home then to take care of his wife and kids if had a wife and kids, and Sheriff Floyd ran for election and got voted in to take over.
