Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

I've had in the back of my mind that I've seen one some episode that there was an actual welcome sign maybe with Boss Hogg's picture and maybe even signs saying leaving hazzard. Can someone confirm it or not. Brandy

I noticed that "The Dukes of Hazzard" had a Smurfette problem. That is the show only had one female main character, as opposed to recurring characters. That meant that the show placed the female characteristics onto one person. My idea would have been, in addition to two male cousins, two female cousins. That would have even out the character traits. What do you think?

I have 107 episodes on DVD because I bought seasons 1-5 all at once when I got my income tax check just was at Wal-Mart one night really late and seen them al lthere, and just threw all of them in the cart along with some Ren & Stimpy DVD's..... anyway, I just was wondering if there was any answer about when I can expect to see seasons 6 and 7 out on DVD? I know that like 4 and 5 came out fairly recently it seems from some of the info Ive seen online about the DVD releases..... but I cant seem to find any info about when seasons 6 and 7 will be out so I can hurry up and complete my collection. I have been wondering this for awhile. I have been watching a lot of Dukes of Hazzard lately.

I read that the first season of the Dukes of Hazzard was filmed in a diferent place to the other seasons. I have just orderd the first season on dvd. Is it any diferent to the other seasons I used to watch tihs show as a kid and can't remember.

I have an ad in my Sunday paper from Wal Mart saying the Season 5 DVD is now being released on November 8th. That is the only place I have seen that earlier date listed though it makes sense because the theatrical movie DVD release was just a week apart from it in December (6th and 13th).

I notice this because of "Comrade Duke", "Witness: Jesse Duke", and "Welcome Back, Bo 'n' Luke". They seem more serious than other episodes of the show.

Did any of y'all cousins besides me notice the flub in Hazzard Connection? When Luke is ramming Augie & Shoulders in the slammer car, it is the slammer car. But in the close up shot of Luke he's magically in General Lee.

Does anyone know what year season seven was shot? Because I'm currently watching it and noticed a 82 to 92 Camaro and I didn't think that they filmed that long.

I finally did it. I went and joined Facebook so I could meet more Dukes fans. Who knows, maybe I can get a few of them to visit the HazzardNet......and maybe even stay longer than a visit.

Is it just me, or do the first episodes seem alot darker that the rest? I think those were better shows. It got pretty silly there at the end.

Greetings from Hazzard Tn. Well, my biggest predicition for the show has come true. I anticipated that the first four seasons would make it to DVD in boxsets. Now I'm wondering about the remaining years of the show and I was wondering about your thoughts as to what you imagine will happen. I'm going to jump ahead and cover the 6th and 7th seasons of the show first. I could imagine a 50/50 chance of seeing the last 2 seasons on DVD. Hi folks, Please read below for a transcript of a recent e-mail sent to me from Warner Home Video UK. I had sent them an e-mail enquiring as to why the episodes of DOH had been released onto DVD randomly and whether there would be any season boxsets. Here is the reply; "Thank you for your note on the Dukes. To answer your questions, the reason the non-sequential episodes appear on the DVD is because these were the only episodes we could get clearance for in the UK at the time and we felt that it would be better to put some of the episodes out on DVD rather than put nothing out. hi guys I wonder put idea thread here and when I watch DOH everynight at 6pm and then later watch other tv show and then going bed then next morning and also are you still feeling voice running in your mind? my voice mind still running said "welcome to hazzard county" and sheriff rosco coltrane chase dukes like jump and I can feeling in my mind said "welcome to hazzard county and rosco said ghkuu... keeping said...." not know why I can still feeling voice in my mind.. not stopping...
