Dukes of Hazzard Episodes

I searched the forum, but didn't see any mention of this. In episode 2 -- Daisy's Song -- the cousin's go to talk to Cooter. He's working on a white car that looks A LOT like a Chrysler 300(?) from the mid-late '50's. Now, in what little I know -- that was the car that Jerry Rushing used and the car that was in "Moonrunners" -- the 1975 picture penned by Gy Waldron, the Dukes creator. So, the question is: Was that the actual "Traveller" from the movie? Funny too, that Cooter drives the same color scheme Gran Torino in the first episode that Starsky (or Hutch) had in that tv show. After watching Witness Jesse Duke,it got me thinking. Seen as it was the last full Coy and Vance episode why didn't the directors or producers (or whoever decided what episode was filmed in what order) have Bo and Luke written into that episode and have Coy and Vance leave at the end of that episode when Jesse regained his sight,instead of the brief 5 minute reunion in Welcome Back Bo and Luke. Judging from other emotional episodes, Bo and Luke would do anything to help out anyone or get to the hospital.So surely Uncle Jesse in a serious,possibly permanent condition would be more important than the NASCAR circuit. Just my opinion.

I just finished watching Comrade Duke.During the final chase sequence when the Dukes are rescuing Natasha,they are filming on a wide open plane that looks like a country highway.The location was used again in Big Brothers Duke at the start and end of the episode. My question is,where is that location?? From the mountains and soil it looks like it was filmed near Newhall,a couple of miles south of Indian Dunes. Hey y'all. I've just finished watching Welcome Back Bo and Luke.Its always going to be one of my favourite episodes,mainly because it was one of the first ones i can remember But during the race between the Dukes and Pete Willis,when Rosco and Enos overtake Daisy and crash into each other,as their cars go flying into the lake a)it would make a great painting b)as Rosco and Enos are screaming,it sounds as if Enos says "ah-haha oh ****" Is that just me or does he say oh ****?

Hi ya'll! I am currently watching this episode as I am writing this and I have a question for ya'll. The very first time I watched this episode, I cried with Enos when the General went into the pond. Even though I knew good and well the boys hadn't died. I just couldn't take Enos crying, it broke me. I laugh at myself now, but did any one else do the same?

Hi, can someone help me out with an episode? I've got the whole series on dvd, including the 2 tv movies that were released, and I want to go back and see this one episode again, but can't remember the name of it. The Dukes packaging is pretty vague as to what episode is what, so I'll just say, the episode I want to see is where Boss Hogg and Jesse get locked in the Hazzard Bank vault, and they need Emory Potter to get em out because he's the only one with a key. I'm pretty sure it's in season 2, but I read each episode to see if it said anything about them getting locked in the vault, and nada. So if someone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it. thanks Chris

Hello everybody! Another question for you: in the Georgia episodes I noticed that the Dukes have a beautiful cream coloured refrigerator (I love 50's style fridges).. But in the other episodes I can't see a refrigerator in their kitchen.. Is it possible that they don't have one? Or there's a refrigerator but I don't have seen it yet? I'm waiting for replies!

Does anybody know if this was ever a real song by Jessi Colter? It's her voice, it's a good background... it sounds really recorded! And yet you only ever hear the chorus, and that not all very clear... This has driven me nuts since the first time I saw the episode. I hope it is a real song, but can anyone let me know for sure? Ok I have an episode in my head and I cant remember all of it or even enough of it to figure out which one it is. Hopefully someone can help though. here are the clues. Bo is for the most part not in it. if he is at all its at the begining and is leaving to go some where. at one point Daisy and Luke are running to catch up with cooters tow truck which is the yellow one with the pitch fork(im pretty sure) on the back if I remember correctly daisy has on a black and white striped shirt but that is iffy. I have seen them all at least twice but I cant get it straight in my head which one that one is. any help is greatly appreciated Derrick

I remember Bo and luke going into town, to the post office. Bo was picking up new boots he ordered. From there chaos ensues and I remember him running around in socks. Sorry if I'm remembering this wrong. Driving me crazy trying to figure it out. Thanks in advance.

Does anybody know why Cooter was missing from those four episodes in season two. I don't mean Ben Jones I mean Cooter. Did they give a reason on the show or was it just poof he's gone and he'll be back later or what?
