May 29, 201115 yr I'm going to take a guess here. From looking around the maps I think it was filmed just south of McWane Blvd in Oxnard, CA. Take a look for yourself on Google Maps.Here's a couple of screengrabs. In the first there is a double row of electrity pylons in the background (between Bo and Luke). I've inset a picture of the pylons I found near Oxnard.This picture shows the view from the top of the train. On the left is well-tended farmland, but on the right the land is a lot rougher. In the distance a narrow strip of water can be seen just to the right of the tracks.Lastly, the railroad jump in 'Granny Annie' was filmed less than a mile from here.
May 30, 201115 yr Author Lastly, the railroad jump in 'Granny Annie' was filmed less than a mile from here.It could be even closer than that Hoss.After the boys jump out of General Lee theres a shot pointing away from the train,which shows a big building which looks similar to one of the buildings in the background of the train jump.
May 30, 201115 yr It could be even closer than that Hoss.It's just across the field - I think Google Earth measured it just under 1km (about 0.6 miles). The 'Granny Annie' jump was here, where Perkins Road crosses the railroad.
