On TV This Week

"You've Got a Friend" is on the Hallmark Channel tonight at 9 p.m. EST.

Just a heads up ya'll. It looks like Lake Placid 2 will be airing on the SciFi channel on April 28 at 9/8C. John Schneider appears to be one of the main characters from what I can tell.

As I'm typing this I'm also watching "Coal Miner's Daughter" on CMT. It's been a few years since I've last seen it. If any of you have never seen it, you're really missing an amazing story. I was a big Loretta Lynn fan even before she made her appearance on the Dukes of Hazzard but after she was on the show, she quickly became my all-time favorite female country music singer and still is to this day. She's really had an amazing life and is worthy of our admiration and respect. She did such a great job as an actress on the Dukes I wonder why she never did more of that kind of work. I suppose she made more money in music and I suspect she enjoyed it more than acting. …

It looks like our two favorite Duke boys have been reunited in animation.... according to my source, they will appear in an episode of Phineas and Ferb on the Disney channel on: Fri, Feb. 12th at 9:00pm and Sat, Feb.13th at 11:30am They play the Wilkens brothers....

Never I bought the Dvds never the show would be replied. Next week, at 11 am an italian tv will start to show the 1st season of Hazzard! GRRRRR

This show was on the History Channel this morning (we had nothing better to watch) and it listed the top 3 sex symbols of 1979 and at #2 (although it shoulda been #1) was our very own CATHERINE BACH! Gotta give bonus points to the History Channel now. We already forgot who #3 and #1 were.

I have Sirius satellite radio channels on my television (Dish Network). I never listen to any of them except classic country and recently heard "Country Girls" by John Schneider. It always gives me a warm feeling anytime anything Dukes related is on.

Just wondering if anyone had caught the first 2 eps of secret life/amarican teenager with John on abcFAM? I had a chance to see last weeks ep.-I missed tonights show but will try to catch the re-run at 12.... It's a little uncomfortable for me with all those teens talking sex but it's not a bad show...plus a chance to watch Bo ....uhhh I mean John:p Tues night @ 8 east repeats @ midnight east p.s. The ep. of Home Improvement with Tom Wopat was on TBS today great to see Tom!

Okay, the Dukes haven't moved to Mexico despite the thread title. And for those of you familiar with the episode titles of the Dukes cartoon series and the world travels of the Dukes in that series, The Dukes of Mexico isn't a title of one of the episodes. But I thought folks might like this story. Earlier today my wife was watching a movie called "The Mexican" on TBS. It stars Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. I was in the dining room reading the Sunday paper when all the sudden I heard Boss call Rosco on the CB and Rosco responsing.... Sure enough there's a brief moment in the movie where The Dukes of Hazzard appears in a motel in Mexico in the middle of a Brad Pitt scene. …

If you've noticed, that guy that shot, like 17 people in Florida was sentenced today. One of the people mentioned on the jury, was Benjamin Thompson.....remember? Benny The Quil!! I just happened to notice this and thought I'd tell the fellow citizens of Hazzard about it!

Tom and John will be on The View together on Wednesday February 20th at 11:00am on ABC. Good news good news!!!

I was just flipping through the guide on my Dish Network and noticed that ABC is airing Dukes at 2:00 Today (eastern standard time). The bad news is that it's the Johnny Knoxville version so I won't be watching it. The great news is that one of the three major networks seems to have gotten the ball rolling again. If they can have the courage to do this maybe we'll see someone pick up the original series! I'm excited! There is now hope that sanity is being restored!

I saw a preview last night for a new show on Fox called Standoff. In the preview Tom Wopat appears to be playing a bad guy in one of the episodes. Not sure which one, but the show will be airing on Tuesday nights this fall on Fox.

'Trick My What' is premiering this Friday on CMT at 10 pm eastern. I didn't see it posted yet, I am looking forward to seeing it.

Sorrell Booke was on M.A.S.H. as a General, in " Requiem For A Light Weight" S.1 E.3 He had the mustache, glasses, etc. going.He was fat but not AS fat as he was in TDOH...probably because it was real fat and not those fat pads he wore under his Boss Hogg outfit!

Anybody no why cmt took dukes of at midnight?

Yesterday the Dukes movie (with Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson) was on twice. Hmmm, I think it was IFC....not sure what that stands for. I'm not a fan of the movie but it was still nice to scroll down through the guide channel and see DUKES OF HAZZARD. Maybe someday the series will come back. If they can run the Dukes movie then why not the series? There are only about a trillion worse things on TV.
