Tom Wopat/Luke Duke

Any of y'all who haven't caught Tom's musical gigs, take note. Mr. Wopat will be performing in Davenport Iowa on October 18, 2006. Venue is the Redstone Room, an intimate lounge setting in the historic Redstone building, located at Second and Main Street in downtown Davenport. For ticket info, call (309) 796-2424 or (800) 747-2430. These kind of venues sell out fast, and at this locale, there's no reserved seating. Tickets mean you get in the door; seating is strictly first-come, first-served. That aside, these shows have great acoustics and the atmosphere is an experience in itself. Want a bigger show? Give yer regards to Broadway, and check out Tom's performa…

Possible Spoiler Alert: I watched an episode of Murder, She Wrote a while ago from the last season (Season 12) called “Kendo Killing”, from January 1996. I don’t remember seeing this one when it originally aired, although I saw the majority of the show during its original run. But, it guest starred Tom Wopat, was set in Japan, and dealt with a lot of Japanese traditions—including sword fighting. However, Tom isn’t exactly the honest, trustworthy ‘Luke Duke’ in this! I’m not even going to try and post pictures of him from the episode here, as I can never get this site to allow me to do it. It always claims they’re supposedly too big no matter what I do. …

Go to the Cooter's Pigeon Forge facebook page for details!

It happened just two days after his fiftieth birthday. I'm just curious as to whether he was there. I know he did 9//11 themed show with Sigourney Weaver called 'The Guys'.

Bo drives everyday but have you noticed Luke drives in all the races?

At the beginning of this year, Tom was doing a Q&A session on Twitter and so I took the opportunity to ask him a question relating to the Dukes of Hazzard and what he took away from it. I know there is the thread about Tom's attitude towards the show and that some of it might be negative, but I think his short answer still says alot... That he took more away from the relationships he developed with the cast and crew than the actual show itself. Do any of y'all remember the concert that him and John did when he got Laryngitis ? it must have been hard on him . John had to do most of the singning I bet I do remember Tom having to leave the wrap party early because his throat was sore. I recall reading that the next day he couldn't say a word he could only blink and smile at the fans and I also remember reading about the next day that when him and John were performing and one of the stage guys gave Tom a bottle of water for his throat and then a few hours later Tom got a tickle in this throat and he sprayed water all over John's jacket and John gave him a funny look.

Their was this interview of Tom's i was listening to last night on facebook it was a fairly nice interview but I felt kinda sorry for Tom. considering he had a cold while doing a radio show and he also sounds very congested , he also had to blow his nose at one point.

Last week Tom was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs! You can see more photos at the link below, leave Tom your congratulations here! http://broadwayworld.com/article/Photo-Coverage-Tom-Wopat-Penny-Fuller-and-More-at-27th-Annual-MAC-Awards-20130323 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=167485360073992&set=pb.144294422393086.-2207520000.1364254004&type=3&theater

Tom is recording a personal video for it, as soon as I get that we'll put it up! The Tom Wopat webcrew needs your help in getting this out. Here is what they said in an email to me as of 12-4-2013. Hi Kimberly! As you saw in the Facebook group post, I don't have access to Tom's Facebook page. Someone hacked in and removed all the admins, and we are going through a legal process to get it back. It has been annoying, to say the least! I wanted to post something in the Facebook group asking everyone to help spread the word about Tom's new song, but wanted to check with you first to make sure that was appropriate for the group. Or maybe you want to post it instead? I was going to say something like: "Hi everyone! Since we are locked out of Tom's Faceboo…

I would like everyone that is either a Dukes fan or Tom Wopat fan to please post something like on the Tom Wopat page here on fb so we can keep up with him and what is going on thank you....... Here is the link if you don't already know to his FB page https://www.facebook.com/tomwopat?fref=ts I would like to voice my opinion about some things i have noticed aren't working right on Tom information. Updates on his FB page aren't getting done and concert dates are missing and am wondering why? This is the only way i can find out if he is coming to an area near me so i can get tickets and to at the very least keep up with the man in this fashion. I have seen or rather not see…

I watch the A&E show Longmnire and last night 7/22/12 Tom Wopat was guest star. He played a sheriff from a neighboring county. He was only in a couple of scenes. I am surprised this wasn't mentioned here earlier to give everyone a heads up that he was going to be on TV. Maybe I missed it though. I'm gone Darrell

Why did Luke Duke always get hurt alot?

If you go to Tom's Official website you can watch a video of Tom & John answering questions from fans. Edit added by Brian Coltrane: Yes indeed! And I can save you the trip because I just inserted it in this post. Previously, I posted it on our Facebook page and forgot to put it in the Forums, because I had the other Tom interview in the Forums, and....well, I lost my mind. Here ya go: Tom and John scared by "Daisy Duke" driving the General Lee For my money, that was hilarious to picture. Heh!

I posted this under John's section but wanted to cover it here too. Tom and John are in concert together on April 12 & 13 at the Fallsview Casino in Ontario, Canada. The casino website does not yet have tickets on sale. Tom's website, however, confirms the concert. Here's the link to all of Tom's upcoming appearances, as found on his website. I've got the direct link to the casino box office under John's post. I coulda reposted it here, but I like to mix things up. You can get to it from this other link anyway.

Does anyone know where I can find Tom's early albums? The ones from the 80's and early 90's when he sang country music. I have been looking all over the internet and cant find them anywhere. I have been able to find most of John's but cant find Tom's.

I really found this funny: Bo and Luke went to Atlanta to get something for Jesse I think.. Anyways Bo and Luke come out of some city building and hop in the General and Bo starts to take off like he always does, FAST. Luke: "Bo!!!" Bo stops and says "What?!?!" Luke: "This ain't Hazzard!!!" I cant remember much about that episode but I remember having a good laugh. If anyone knows the episodes name please let me know I'd love to watch it again. Thanks

For those of you watching the Dukes on CMT. I believe they started what was the seventh and final season of the show last night. From what I remember growing up the show really showed its age during this season (it still had its moments, but they were running out of ideas) One of the things I noticed as a Luke fan that though he was my favorite character growing up, they really didn't change or explore his character that much (or the others either for that matter). He was always the one who came up with the plans etc which was vital, but with the show aging (their use of model cars for the jumps this season were obvious, lol), I think it would have been interesting to sho…

For any critics, who want to claim the Dukes didn't have great actors (Sorrell Booke was a terrific actor for example) all one has to do is look at Tom's Broadway successes. He has been in a ton of major productions and is a Tony award winning actor. He has also put out some really solid recordings as well and you could make an argument that he has had the best of the "post" Dukes career (though the others have done very well).

Well, I thought I would start this thread, for all those of us who love Tom and his work. Please upload any pics you have!

Was browsing around in under the John Schneider section and stumbled back upon the old thread of "Which Bo Duke is Better". Being a Luke fan, I decided to do a Luke poll. My opinion varies. While I'll always be more partial to the original... I do like the Johnny Knoxville version. I've been a fan of Knoxville's since 2000. I'll admit, he wasn't dead on Luke's character, but the movie did have it's moments, be them few and far (if at all) in between. This movie was made for the newer generations, not the older. And I think a lot of people tend to forget that little keypoint. I like to think on the positive side though (and believe me, that's rare) when it comes to this m…
