Thanks to RogerDuke for this suggestion. This is the place to post trivia questions for others to guess. Or if you have a question about one of the episodes and can't find the answer, post it here and maybe someone will answer it for you!

I'm just trying to direct some folks to the trivia thread so I'm creating  this recent post to get it in the land of "Recent posts and activities" to give it more exposure. I'll do the same with "Duke or Dupe"

Dukes Trivia: What are The Dukes of Hazzard connections to The Andy Griffith Show?

Hazzard Square was also Mayberry's town square.

Denver Pyle played Briscoe Darling jr in Andy Griffith.

James Best played Jim Lindsey aka the guitar player.

That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure some of the older guest stars in DoH also did guest appearances on Andy Griffith show like Pat O'Malley from the Return of the Ridge Raiders(DoH) was in Up in Barney's Room(AGS), he was also in The Ghost and Mr Chicken.

Roger yep! :)

Are you sure about that, Skipper? All the sources I've checked say that the exterior shots of Mayberry were filmed on the R.K.O. Forty Acres backlot in Culver City (the whole site was demolished in the mid-70s).
