  1. Aloha again Mr. Best. I have one more question for you. In the show, Rosco says, in "The Ghost of General Lee" that he cannot swim. What about you? Was this written into your character because your really could not swim? Or do you know how? I know, this is really random, but I always wanted to know. Thank you so much! Waikiki23
  2. Believe me, the mixed feelings hit me everytime I watch it (I only have it on my DVR). In my mind, like everyone else, Boss is still trying to jail the boys or swindle the farm away from Jesse. Jesse is still bailing the boys out of jail. The boys is running from Rosco; Daisy, Cooter and Enos are trying to keep up with them all. They all still race the back roads of Hazzard in my mind! And they always will! Thanks Hoss for the welcome!
  3. I think I was on here a long time ago, but didn't keep up with it. I am so glad to be here.

  4. I know this thread is older (like over 2 years!) but I'm new and just want to say, I love the reunion movie. Never liked the Hollywood one. The reunion just had the flavor of the show. And in many parts I rewind and watch 10 times or more. Not to mention the boys aged well! But the first one was a little sad for me with the death of Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke). Roger, I had some same thoughts as you, that all three of them left the farm and left poor Uncle Jesse. But after awhile, as Jesse said in one episode "Birds gotta fly." I have always remembered that and realized that Jesse gave the cousins their chance to spread their wings and fly. It took me a while to realize that in my own life (I didn't move out until I was 25). So I agree with both Roger and Bo. I hope I do not sound redundant. I just wanted to put my two cents in! Thanks for starting this thread.
  5. I have seen the Love Comes Softly movies, and no, its not Tom who plays Clark. But would have been nice!
  6. Aloha Mr. Best. I have been entertained by the Dukes for about 5 years now, as it really was not in syndication when I was younger. But what got me really into the show was the Reunion movie, the first one. I just have to know, you and the whole cast had me laughing so hard and I can quote word for word a lot of that movie. How hard was it for you and the cast to shoot, since Mr. Booke was already gone and Mr. Pyle died right after? It seemed like there were little things that remined the viewers that even though Mr. Booke was gone, his spirit was there. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and answer my question. Waikiki23 (No, I do not live in Hawaii...I wish I did!!)
  7. Yeah, I am excited about that. I kinda quit watching after he died. I loved Jonathan Kent and that was the only reason I watched (well, besides Tom Welling ) and I can't wait to see what they do with his character.
  8. As you can tell, I have an avatar now. Thanks MaryAnne!!!!
  9. Thanks so much! I was worried that I was doing something wrong! :-)

  10. Yes, that's me! I have only written one DOH story...actually trying to finish it. But I believe I have read a few of your stories. Glad to meet ya!

  11. I love Dukes of Hazzard, Deadliest Catch, Emergency!, Sue Thomas, FBEYE, Whose Line Is It Anyway? and JAG.

  14. I'll bite... do you want to do a round robin? Or, I would love to write that for my fanfiction writing.
  15. Just trying to get some input, see if anyone likes it and wants to put their two cents in. This is my story. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4457339/1/Lukes_Girl
  16. Hi ya'll! I have: Seasons 1-4 and season 6 of Dukes of Hazzard (which are worn from being watched over and over) Seasons 1-5 of Emergency! (One of my other favorite shows) Seasons 1-4 of Deadliest Catch Seasons 2, 5 and 6 of Hogans Heroes Working on getting season 5 and 7 of Dukes, Season 6 of Emergency!, and seasons 1, 3, and 4 of Hogans Heroes. Used to own Smallville, until money ran tight and I had to sell them. I loved Smallville (because of John Schneider of course, until they killed him off.) but then when Jonathan Kent died, I cried and refused to watch any more.
  17. One of my favorite scenes is from the reunion movie when they first fix the General Lee and they are testing him when they pass the speed trap and Cletus is chasing them. Luke: "You are aware this road goes to Dry Creek?" Bo: "I am aware that this road goes to Dry Creek?" Luke: "You are aware there is no way to get over Dry Creek?" Bo: "I am aware that there is one way to get over Dry Creek." Luke: "Oh lord we going to die!" But one that never ceases to give me a laugh is in The Ghost of General Lee, when the boys make Rosco and Enos think the General is a ghost. Then they drive off. I laugh so hard!
  18. I am with ya'll, in my mind Boss and Jesse are still alive and fighting. But I really would have liked to see the Dukes own their home lock, stock and barrel and maybe find out what happened to Bo, Luke and Daisy's parents. Some kind of flash back would have been cool.
  19. Hey ya'll! Just wanted to introduce myself! I love Dukes of Hazzard and I used to live in Georgia in Kennesaw. I miss Georgia and love the southern feel and charm. I love Luke and Bo and never could really decide which I loved more. One day I love Luke more then the next day its Bo. I don't know if I'll ever make up my mind! One day I would love to meet John Schneider and Tom Wopat, but I am grounded in reality that it may never happen. Anyway, I'm glad to be here and love it already. I hope to get to know ya'll! Feel free to e-mail me!
  20. I keep looking and I cannot upload an avatar. Its not giving me the link for me to upload my picture. Help!
  21. My favorites were the Oak Ridge Boys (twice!) and Roy Orbison.
