  1. I also was too young for the first airing of the show. I had heard about DoH in little ways all my life, but never had watched the show. Then one day, CMT was showing the first Reunion movie. I decided to watch. I totally fell in love with John Schneider and Tom Wopat after they had gotten a little older. I watched the whole movie and decided to buy the Dukes on DVD. My first season was Season 2, as that was the only one Walmart had at the time. First episode I watched was The Ghost of General Lee. I cried with Enos when he begged Rosco to help him find the boys, even though I knew the boys weren't even in the car! I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes when they made Rosco think the General was a ghost with the luminous paint. I was hooked. I then I bought Season 4, because again that was all Walmart had. Now I own Seasons 1-4 and Season 6. Still working on the other ones. But, now, I love the original show better than the movies just because that is how I will always see the characters. They will never grow old or die in my mind. Hazzard will always be as we have for 7 seasons. They will always be alive and racing the back hills of Hazzard County.
  2. Amen!!! I can never see them grow up. I defy anyone who tells me otherwise!
  3. OMG! I have watched that episode many times and I never realized that was Rick!!! I have that episode on my DVR now and I am going to have to watch it!
  4. I am a second generation fan, as the show went off the air when I was only 1 or 2. I love the Dukes because it is a very clean show that anyone can watch. I love Bo, Luke and Enos and love watching the boys drive. I always wished I could drive like them and be a part of the family. But even though I am second generation, I will always love the Dukes!
  5. He would find some way to get his beard back, because face it, when it gets cold, it comes in handy. Plus the women love it!! If you gave Rosco driving lessons...
  6. I have a question, besides the reunion movie, was there ever a 00 car? I have watched all the episodes, but it has been a while, so I don't remember.
  7. Just wanted to leave you a note to say hi! Glad we are friends!

  8. It just came to me that sometimes when talking to others in real life, I use sayings from Dukes of Hazzard, like "Keep it between the ditches". "I love it, I love it" is another of my favorites and I use is a lot. Any one else besides me do this?
  9. Loving this thread! Here are some funny ones from here in West Virginia: Whistling underwater is prohibited. (Who's going to hear that?!) A person may be placed in jail for up to six months for making fun of someone who does not accept a challege. One may not walk a lion, tiger or leopard, even on a leash. (Why would anyone want to do that?) It is legal to beat your wife so long as it is done in public on Sunday, on the courthouse steps. (I think I would be far away from the courthouse on Sundays) No children may attend school with their breath smelling of "wild onions." (I think every kid would do this just to get out of school!) It is unlawful for chickens to lay eggs before 8AM and after 4PM. (You try making the chicken wait to lay her egg until after 4!) And last but not least...Roadkill may be taken home for supper.
  10. I am reviving this post yet again! 1. When I was a kid, my brother and I had 2 cats named Shaggy and Scooby. 2. I love reading Mary Higgins Clark and Nicholas Sparks books. 3. I wish I could own a '69 Charger, any color. 4. The Pittsburg Steelers are my favorite football team. 5. I wanted to be a firefighter when I was a kid. 6. My favorite drink is a good margarita on the rocks 7. I love to write fanfiction 8. I have tried to drive like the Duke boys on some of the dirt roads here where I live. 9. I hate, hate, hate mushrooms. 10. Before I write any fanfiction, I play it out in my mind, putting myself in the scenes.
  11. Wow, loved the pictures! They were fantastic! Someday, when I go back to Georgia for a visit, I would love to visit Conyors. Thanks to the one who took the pictures.
  12. If you give Cooter a new tow truck and a chance at Limo One again...
  13. I had seasons 1 and 4, then sold them on eBay. Now I am kicking myself that I did that! I am going to get the first 5 seasons again when I can. He is totally fantastic in Smallville. My brother got me started on them a couple of years ago. Then, like I mentioned, I quit after they killed him off.
  14. OMG! Thank you so much!!!! I just watched it and cried. I miss John Schneider on the show so much. I am working on watching them from the beginning again by recording them on DVR.
  15. Hi ya'll! I am currently watching this episode as I am writing this and I have a question for ya'll. The very first time I watched this episode, I cried with Enos when the General went into the pond. Even though I knew good and well the boys hadn't died. I just couldn't take Enos crying, it broke me. I laugh at myself now, but did any one else do the same?
  16. Thanks! That was by far my favorite scene!
  17. I can't believe no one mentioned the episode "Targets: Daisy and Lulu" when Boss and Rosco dress like women. That was the best!!
