I can plow a field all day long, I can catch catfish from dusk till dawn. It would have been so awesome if Rosco would have caught Hank in his celebrity speedtrap and he would have sung that in the Boar's Nest. I'm not sure if the producers would have allowed it though because he talks about shooting someone out of revenge. Political correctness wasn't around as much back then but it still existed a little.

Hey Elly May, your last post reminds me of my all-time favorite song.... Country Boy Can Survive by Hank Jr. I just got my first MP3 player and I played that song over and over while walking in this woods this weekend. It was so cool.

Charlie Daniels as Uncle Jesse!!! That's brilliant daisyXenos!! Of course I'm a little biased because Charlie is my all-time favorite singer and Denver is my all-time favorite actor. I was thrilled to see you make that suggestion. Of course nobody could replace anybody on the Dukes (especially Jesse) but Charlie is the only person on this planet I wouldn't mind seeing try. Jesse is my biggest hero and Charlie is definitely second.
