Here's our theory on Bo and Luke's final run: Bo and Luke are tearing down the road in the General Lee on what was to be their last run. As usual, Rosco pulls in behind them. Luke: Right on schedule. It can be scary, doesn't have to be. Maybe just a few minutes or hours. One of my favorite stories I ever wrote, took a small nap, woke up from a dream and started typing. 4 hours later - there was 15 or 16 pages to turn into MaryAnne. There wasn't much editing either. Granted, not every story will be that same result. Unless you try, how can you know that same wonderful feeling? I challenge those who haven't written a solo story, to attempt too!

Ok, I promised it in the Appomattox Challenge and here it is! The dog collar challenge... I'm gonna give y'all a few options on this one 1) Write a story in the perspective of Flash (or any other random Hazzard mutt). 2) Write a story in which a dog collar is prominently featured. or for the more adventurous of you... 3) Write a story in which one of the characters ends up wearing a dog collar. Does anyone recall "Duck Amuck," he WB cartoon with Daffy Duck being drawn in crazy ways, constnatly changing and conflicting scenes, and so on? Funny stuff even comes from his mouth. Even the end, the artist is revealed, as Bugs Bunny looks at the camera fromt he drawing board and says, "Ain't I a Stinker/" It would be hard with a TV show - but it's worth a shot. This idea arose out of the fact the General is named after, of course, General lee. And, the idea was, what if people got the two mixed up? I was just thinking today about writing a crossover having to do with The Dukes and the Bourne movies. I thought it might be interesting to try to do and I haven't seen anyone try it before.

I posted this on the Dukes of Hazzard Forum on FF.net known as "The Boar's Nest" and thought I'd post it here too. The challenge is to write a cross-over with our favorite family with any fandom of your choice. Understandably some parts of canon may have to be ignored for this to work but PLEASE keep them all in character. After all, what fun would it be to read a fic that was a Dukes fic in name only? If you take on the challege let folks know where they can read your story. Either here, FF, or some other site. This could be fun.

I challenge anyone to write a fic about Enos getting Drunk. Since Enos never drank on the show, i think this wuold be an interesting fic.

I have a question about rewriting the episode " Brotherly Love" Only in my version Luke will suffer dizzyness and Confusion. I was wondering how would you like it if in the Story Starter I have this idea of Luke getting into a Car Accident or one of them getting sick?, Or could it be really bad news like it could take place in Bo and Luke's Teenage years.

One more, then I'm off for a little while. Given Flash's breed, it's very probably the same one was aroudn all 7 seasons - but it'd make an interesting one for just after the series ends. What's the history of Rosco's dogs? Has his dog always been named Flash? (I think in my Hazzard Sparkplugs I have Waylon saying something like "It was either Flash VI or V by this time - noone could remember which.")
