Sinners

(Another musical connection for me. I don't know if Paddy Casey is known in the US, but this song got a lot of plays on the radio when I first moved here)

This one is ok....but I'm wondering if they're trying to say something with the name " Paddy" ...you know...Paddy Wagon, Irish etc.  I don't think we know him over here....?

In Ireland, Paddy is a very common familiar name for people called Patrick (which is the Anglicized version of the name Pádraig). That's why St. Patrick's Day is normally called Paddy's Day (never call it Patty's Day to an Irishman!). The Irish also have a sense of humor about Paddy wagons - for over 20 years there's been a Dublin-based company offering bus tours of Ireland that goes by the names Paddywagon Tours. They have green buses with the name plastered down the side in big letters.

It probably wouldn't be noticed, because when you say it out loud, it's usually undecipherable  between patty and paddy.
