October 31, 2025Oct 31 Speaking of haunted......Halloween is going to be cold, windy and rainy....just like it has been all day today. We just finished watching Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's a 1992 movie. Normally I don't watch scary stuff but do occasionally this time of year.

Fred Sanford mentions him in Sanford and Son. The episode when he's sick from eating 8 day old Collard Greens. Lamont gets the news from the doctor, and he starts smiling at Fred, and Fred says "What's a matter with you? Why you smilin' at me, like Bella Legosee or somebody?" 😂

November 4, 2025Nov 4 Author Right now it's almost 3am and I'm not sleepy. I've been sleeping all day....lol....( I live a hard life! ) and I'm on my comp. in the comp. room and watching TV. I was thinking about how TDOH makes me fall asleep ( I'm going to try it in a minute!). and my mother from WAAAAY back used to say I fell asleep because it was boring! My wife laughs and thinks it's funny and agrees. I think Hazzard is a comforting place, where you can find a connection with at least one of the characters and probably more. The place is small, simple and everybody knows everybody etc. I think deep down, this is the kind of place most people want to live in.

They don't understand it like we do.

And if you don't want to live in a place like Hazzard, you have something seriously wrong with you.

Maybe I’m an old fashioned sort, but to me nothing like Sunday meetings, we have a fine old church here with some of the prettiest stained glass windows, and pews that have probably been there 100 years or more. I’ll share some pics if anyone’s interested in seeing it, it’s a fine place.
December 28, 2025Dec 28 Hi y'all. Not much going on here lately. Sorry to have been silent for so long. I've been just hanging low lately. I started a new job at the end of August. It's going well, but it's been hard to go with change. I like the new job, though it has a financial drawback to it and I've been struggling a bit emotionally with it. I just wanted to drop a hi and a late Merry Christmas to y'all. Hope all is well with you all.
December 29, 2025Dec 29 Author we've missed you quite a bit Garrett! It just hasn't been the same without you, one of the citizens of Hazzard!
