  1. This is completely off-topic but it is about John. For any die-hard John Schnider fan, this is interesting. John will be on PAX tonight in an 2 hour episode of Diagnosis Murder titled "X Marks the Murder" I think that he plays a crook in the 2 hour movie if I remember right. lol Take Care! Vicki
  2. I hope that the re-install went well, Pendragon. Computers tend to get sick every now & then. Surprising, my pc hasn't been sick in a while, and it's 10 years old. Take Care & Have a Great Day! Vicki
  3. They could use other types of cars. Here in Oklahoma, the highway patrol cars used are Chevy Camaros & Suburbans. A Camaro could keep up with the General Lee easily if it had a souped up engine! lol Have a Great Day! Vicki
  4. While the gang had Kristy & Garrett held up in an office, Vicki knew that she had to make her move now. She forced herself to wait another second or two, adrenaline roaring through her body, dulling her anger. Making her forget everything but the possibility of escape, and getting help. Opening the cell door a little, hopefully without making a lot of racket, Vicki knew that she had to be as quiet as church mice in order to get out. Hearing the loud commotion going on inside the office, knowing that Kristy and Garrett was in danger, Vicki knew that she couldn't afford to wait any longer. She had to get out...Now...while the coast was clear. She was finally free. For the first time since she was a wild teenager, she had actually escaped out of that old holding cell. As she walked towards the stairs, a strong hand caught her shoulder. "Vicki! Are you okay?" asked Bo, squeezing her arm. "Where is everyone?" Hearing the shouts going on in an office, Luke was surprised as he recognized two of them. "What is going on in there, Vicki?" "I'll tell y'all, but it is a long story. But to make a long story short, 2 of your cousins are being held hostage in that office with a ruthless gang that Garrett ran around with," said Vicki worriedly then added, "Follow me. We need to get everyone out of the jail cells. We're going to need help!" Walking quickly but quietly, Vicki opened the door that went downstairs. She put her hand on the railing and began to descend downward towards the jail cell. Bo, Luke, and Cooter followed Vicki downstairs. About a minute later, some familiar faces stared in shock at Vicki, who was dangling some keys in her hands. "Are y'all ready to get out of there?" she asked giggling slightly as she, Bo, Luke, and Cooter walked into the crowded room... **CUE: Anyone!**
  5. Hearing the commotion downstairs, Vicki's blue-gray eyes perked up a little bit as she stealthily worked on the old jail cell door lock with her small lock pick. Turning the lock pick to the right a little, she finally heared a fimiliar sound, like something clicked, but she wasn't for certain. She knew that something was about to give downstairs but wasn't sure what it was. She could bearly hear her friends talking downstairs about plotting ways of escaping, and Vicki knew that she too had to escape and get help. She knew that she had to do it soon. Sitting back on the old cot, Vicki giggled to herself thinking back to how Rosco had accidentally locked Boss in here. Cooter had to use a blow torch on the lock to get Boss out. She also remember back to how many times that Bo and Luke had been in here one time or another for no apparent reason, but had escaped from time to time. This time it was up to her to do the same. She had to sneak out of the cell at just the right time, or just wait until the time is right. Noticing some movement outside the booking room windows, Vicki perked up some. Hopefully, Sheriff Little, Bo, Luke, Daisy, or Cooter had picked up her urgent message... CUE: Anyone!
  6. Hello all! Instead of e-mailing everyone, I figured that this would be the best place to tell y'all some bad news. Happy Halloween! I hope that y'all have a good one tomorrow! The bad news is that I won't be on nights anymore effective 10/29/04. Because my author has started a new night job that she works from 11p.m. to 7am. The best time that I am on-line or could be reached is now early-mid afternoons. I will still be around some to finish the 2 rr's and the 2 solo stories, but only on a limited basis. I just thought that I would tell y'all that. My author & I are still around, but not as much as I was used to be on. Talk to y'all soon! Have a great night! Vicki
  7. Vicki paced around the jail cell, watching Garrett & Chet fight each other. Watching the two of them fight made Vicki's stomach ache with anger. She was growing angrier with each passing minute watching them, but she was sitting helpless in a jail cell. If somehow she could talk them into letting her out of that jail cell. Watching Garrett & Chet fight, Vicki looked around her. She stopped searching when she heard something downstairs. It sounded as if someone was coming up the stairs, but she couldn't be certain of that... Trying to act like she didn't hear anything, Vicki was on her feet, fists clenched so her nails pierced into her palms. Frantically now she looked around her. trying to find something to could help the two Duke men stop fighting each other. Looking into her jeans pocket, Vicki found something that might help her escape, a lock pick... CUE: Anyone!
  8. She wasn't going to die now or in the future as Vicki stared blankly around her small enclosed prison. She decided that she wouldn't give Garrett the satisfaction of imitiating her either. She knew that Garrett was just angry with her, and knows that he wouldn't intinally hurt her. Besides Vicki didn't even think that she gotten through to Sheriff Little anyway. More than likely he would think that it was an old message anyway. Maybe there was a way to get out of that cell considering that the cell door didn't close all the way. She just had to figure out how to "jimmie" the lock a little bit like she used to when she was a wild teenager running around with Bo & Luke. Heck, she even used to run around with Garrett & Kristy too as well. Before Garrett changed considerably. "Why did Garrett do that to me, and why did he change?" Vicki questioned herself as she knelt down on her hands and knees looking at the lock on the cell door, hearing the commotion downstairs.... CUE: Anyone!
  9. I remember KISS when I was a little girl back in the late 70's. They were the 1st heavy metal group that me and my sister listen to out of my mother's earshot! lol I think that I remember seeing them on MTV in the early 80's right after that cable station came out, and I also barely remember seeing them on American Bandstand around that time too. Vicki
  10. I'm strictly oldies fan. country and rock & roll. My favorites are Elvis, The Surpremes, The Beach Boys. The Beatles, etc. Country favorites are Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Alabama, Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton, George Strait, George Jones, and of course John Schnider!
  11. Garrett hustled Vicki inside the jail cell. She balked, not wanting to go in there, but Garrett urged her in. Vicki paced around the jail cell, hoping to come up with a plan to get herself & her friends out of this mess. She was angry with herself for making that phone call, but she had to do it for the safety of everyone, even the gang that she came across when she accidentally walked in on them. She wasn't even sure that Sheriff Little got the message, but perhaps someone there did. Taking a look at Garrett, who was sitting at a desk, she knew that she had to be careful with him. She looked at him closely. He looks a lot different now than how he was a few years ago, like he had a personality change. Maybe she should ask him about it later if she got out of here. She knew deep down that he wouldn't hurt her, but he had to show her who was in charge. Vicki walked over to the bars that held her captive. As she grabbed hold of it, the bars moved a little. Garrett must have not shut the bar door all the way before he locked it. Maybe she can work it loose, but it will take some time doing it. "Darlin, are you doing okay in there?" Garrett asked as he laughed. "Just peachy..." Vicki said, sighing loudly as she sat back down on the cot in the jail cell as she heard footsteps coming down the stairs... CUE: Anyone!
  12. Brian was right. There was one less person down there in the jail cells. Without anyone noticing it, Vicki had sneaked upstairs as the commotion was going on downstairs. She was going to make that phone call tonight, no matter what the consequences was. "I hope that Chet doesn't figure out what I'm doing, or I might end up in the jail cell with everyone else!" thought Vicki as she picked up the phone and dialed a number. After a few seconds, a answering machine came on at the Chickasaw County Police Station. The recorded message said in a tone that sounded a lot like Sheriff Little, "You have reached the Chickasaw County Police Department. We are all out of the office, if ya leave a name & number, we will call you back soon. Thank you and Have a Nice Day!" After hearing her boss's recorded message Vicki blurted into the phone, "Sheriff, this is Vicki. I am still in Hazzard, me and the entire Hazzard County Police Department are held at gunpoint by a gang! Please get me some help here!" Vicki said in a shakey voice as she hung up the phone. Still hearing the commotion downstairs, Vicki slowly walked downstairs and back into the Jail Room without anyone noticing that she disappeared... **CUE: Anyone! **
  13. **Chet & Razor are used with permission.** As Razor was coming downstairs, Vicki sat in a corner near the stairs, staring at the entire Hazzard County Police force locked in a jail cell. She had known them all for a long time. She hated to see them in there. Maybe she can talk Chet into letting them out. Just thinking about it, Vicki headed towards the stairs. Chet caught up with her as she put her hand on the chain-link door. "Vicki, where are you going?" Despite the stares from her former friends, especially Rosco, Vicki smiled at Chet. "I need to get some fresh air. We have been down here for several hours now. Plus I need to go make a phone call." Chet put a hand on Vicki's shoulder, steering her back away from the jail cell door. "We'll go up in a little while, sugar," Chet drawled in a husky voice, kissing her on the cheek. "Oh...okay," said Vicki as she stared at Rosco, winking an eye at him, telling him that it will be all right. "I wonder what is keeping Razor," said Chet as he looked at the clock on the wall. "It's been over an hour since we left him on the Courthouse steps." "Maybe we need to go looking for him," said Vicki as she opened the chain-link door then added as Razor stumbled in, "Oh...my...lord!" Chet's dark eyes grew angrier as he saw a beaten Razor. "What happened to you, Razor? What did they do to you?" "A gang..." hissed Razor, panting for breath. "Ambushed me...right outside the Courthouse..." "I'm going to clobber them with my bare hands!" said Chet angrily walking towards the clain link door. "Chet! Don't you Dare! We don't need for you to get hurt too!" said Vicki as she tried to stop Chet from going upstairs as everyone looked on... **CUE: Whoever is ready to add!**
  14. BALLADEER: "Can things get any worse?" With the stranger unaware, Vicki had overheard everything as she was listening from outside the jail cell window. The stranger's voice had sounded vaguely familiar, like she knew him from somewhere. Even though this stranger might be somebody she knows, Vicki knew that this stranger cannot be trusted. She knew that she, Daney, and everyone else needs to come up with a plan to help Garrett clear his name. To do that, Vicki knew that she needed to stay around Hazzard for a little while longer, and to find out what this stranger wants, and the only way to do that is to ask him herself. Just thinking about it, Vicki rushes towards her car in the chilly pitch black night air, hopefully waiting for the stranger to leave... Several hours later, the stranger walks down the sidewalk towards the Courthouse. He stopped in front of the jail cell window, wondering if Garrett Duke was going to escape out of there. The stranger cauitiously walked in a direction of an dark alley without being seen by anyone or so he thinks that is. As the stranger walked around, the sun was nearly down completely, and everything was almost pitch black. Like the small town had been deserted for the night. Even at Cooter's Garage, where there is always a light on, the place is pitch black. Without a moon, there were no shadows. Beyond the occasional streetlight or headlights of a car, it was a soot-black night. The stranger walks up to a pay phone and dials a number. "Hello...yeah, everything is fine...I think that this boy will take the bait, unless his cousins get in the way...I'll be at the hideout in about 30 minutes just as soon as I steal a car...see you soon...bye," said the stranger as he hung up the telephone and stepped out of the phone booth. As the stranger walked along an alley, an arm snaked out from behind him and grabbed him in a stranglehold as she put her black gloved hand over his nose & mouth. In her other hand, she jabbed something hard against his ribs. "Not a sound..." said a woman with a raspy, hissed voice in his ear as she dragged him through the alley then added as she took her gloved hand away from his mouth, "Do as your told until we get to that car parked across the street." "Yeah...yeah, whatever you say," said the stranger, nodding his head slowly, surprised with the woman's forcefulness as he walked slowly with the woman across the street to her car. In the dim streetlight, he thought that he had seen this car before somewhere. As the woman started the car in the near pitch black night, the stranger looks at her closely. She looked vaguely familiar to him. "Do I know her from somewhere?" the stranger thought to himself, looking out the windshield noticing that they were heading out of town... **CUE: Daney, Kristy, or anyone! **
  15. Hello y'all! I agree about Randy Travis being in the Dukes movie. I think that he could be a good Enos, maybe he'll even sing a song or two in the movie. Randy is a good actor too. I saw him several times on Matlock with Andy Griffth! He was a good actor on that show. I think that Burt Renylods would be a good Boss Hogg, he could be a great con-man in the movie. I would definitely go see it when it is released. Take Care & Have a Great Day! Vicki
  16. **Chet is used with permission on this little post.** Vicki awoke with a start as Chet opened the back door of the patrol car. "You know, Chet, I know that I walked in on you by accident, but I think that it was the best thing that could have happened," said Vicki, smiling at Chet. "How so?" Chet asked, smiling at the redhead as he helped her sit up in the back seat of the patrol car. "What do you have in mind?" "For one thing, these handcuffs has got to go. I know that you only did that out of meanness," Vicki laughed, indiciating to her bound writsts. Chet laughed at Vicki. "So I did. Are you okay?" Vicki rubbed her wrists after Chet took off the handcuffs. She then took Chet's hand in a friendly but suttle gesture. "I am now. Now about the other thing, Why not let me join up with you & your gang. We could do well together. I know every inch of Hazzard & Chickasaw Counties." Chet stared at Vicki for the longest time as they sat in the back of the Chickasaw Patrol car. He couldn't believe that Vicki was talking like this. He didn't know that deep down that Vicki was just as wild as he was. Even though Vicki suddenly felt weak and frightened on the inside, she smiled at Chet gratefully. Knowing that she didn't know if he believed her, she was more touched that he was listening to her talk, and to keep an open mind---willing to be convinced. "What about the police force? Won't that hurt your career?" Chet asked surprised at the redhead's remark. "We'll worry about them later." Vicki said as she giggled wildly. "We don't have to worry about Chickasaw County anyway...because Hughie Hogg runs that county now, and he's been "training" me to help him run it too." Chet laughed at the redhead's remark. CUE: (Anyone ready to have a good time writing!)
  17. After a few minutes, Vicki came up on the Explorer, but the SUV took off fast again. "Of...all the things. Why did Coy do that? I think that he is trying to play with me again! Well, this time he's going to get it!" Vicki said angrily as she turned her siren on. Vicki followed for a few miles, but realized that either Coy's driving had changed, or her driving was better than normal. She speeded up her patrol car to fifty-five as the Explorer speeded up as well. ---> In the Explorer, Jack was watching the road in front of him, and watching Vicki in his rear-view mirror. "How is she doing back there, Coy?" Coy Duke laughed loudly. "I think that she is getting madder by the minute. She is less than 3 feet behind us. If she gets any closer, she'll bump into us. Vicki knows better than to "bump" into us."
  18. After tangling with Chet, Vicki gave up her struggles with him. She was good at subdueing a man with a gun, but she was no match for Chet. She didn't want to see him get hurt or herself. Chet reminded her too much of herself when she was a wild rebellious teenager, back when she was dating Hughie Hogg for a while. Now 30 minutes later, Vicki opened her eyes to a slit as she watched Chet drive her patrol car. "Oh...great!" muttered Chet under breath then added, "We just past my no good cousins, Bo & Luke! I hope that they don't realize that you're not driving, little lady." Vicki opened her eyes after hearing Chet's remark. Maybe Bo & Luke will see that something is amiss. That Maybe something isn't right. The sunlight, glaring and relentless, was shining in Vicki's eyes. She tried to escape it, to stop those rays from piercing through to her brain, but the light followed her. She moaned softly as the side of her face stung a little. She reached with her hand to feel the blow, but realized that both of her hands came up. That was when she realized that Chet had used her handcuffs on her. Vicki closed her eyes again, pretending to be asleep as Chet pulled up in front of the Hazzard County Courthouse. But however, she was trying to come up with a plan. Maybe she can convince Chet that she had changed considerably since they had last saw each other. Working in Chickasaw with Sheriff Little in the last few years had made her as mean as he is. and could be as mean as anyone else. Vicki continued to play possum as the back door opened... Cue: Chet or Anyone!
  19. **About 30 minutes earlier...** While Daney was talking to Garrett at the jail, back at Boss's & Lulu's house, Lulu was talking to her & Rosco's god-daughter Vicki about everything that has been happening in Hazzard since Vicki left to take that temporary job with Sheriff Little in Chickasaw... "So--you're telling me that Rosco is trying to find out who has been doing the robberies around here?" asked the redhead surprised. "Yeah, that's about it, I guess, honey," said Lulu, taking a sip of her coffee. "That is what is happening in Chickasaw right now too, Lulu. That is why Sheriff Little talked me to working for him for a little while...to help him solve the string of robberies there," said Vicki, taking a sip of her iced tea then added, "I only came when you called me to tell me that you had some news to tell me that I'm not going to like too much." --> Just then, Rosco came walking in the door. Lulu looked up and saw her younger brother. "Rosco, tell Vicki what is going on." Rosco grinned excitedly at Vicki. "Sure, Lulu. Perhaps, maybe you'll like to come to the jailhouse and see who I have in there for the recent robberies. It's a friend of yours." Vicki rolled her blue-gray eyes at Rosco. "Oh, no! What have you done now?" Vicki asked surprised as she followed Rosco outside... (Cue: Whoever is ready! )
  20. About 30 minutes later, Vicki drove her Chickasaw County Patrol car across the Hazzard County line. "Wow! This is strange..." she thought shaking her head as she kept driving then added, "Enos or Rosco are usually hiding in thr trees here. Something must be going on in town." As she drove into town a few minutes later, she noticed that no one at all was on the streets. "Where is everybody?" Vicki said to herself as she pulls her patrol car up in front of the Hazzard County Courthouse. As she started to get out of the patrol car, 3 men and a white tiger came rushing out the front doors. "2 of those men look very familiar..." she thought to herself as they came rushing up to her patrol car. After looking at her patrol car, 2 of the men went back inside the Hazzard County Courthouse. She didn't get a chance to get away from the other one. A gun barrel was thrust in the open car window. "You! Stay inside the car, and take off that gun belt!" said the gunman, snapping at the redhead. "No! I won't do it!" snapped Vicki back at the gunman. The gun barrel dug into her back, then moved to her neck. "Need I ask again?" Trembling slightly, Vicki moved behind the wheel. Her knee brushed the car keys, still dangling from the ignition. The man slid in beside her, Though the gun barrel was still thrust against her neck, it was the man's eyes that she focused on as she drove them out of Hazzard. They were black, fathomless. She knew that she had seen him somewhere before. "Where--where are we going?" she asked trembling slightly. "We're going on a scenic drive. Just keep driving until I tell you to stop!" the gunman barked at the redhead, placing a hand on her elbow. Vicki's thoughts were racing, seeking some means of escape, but she came up with nothing. That gun was insurmountable enough. If somehow somebody was following her... After a few miles, Vicki abruptly stopped her patrol car in the middle of the road, jarring herself and the gunman She then lunged at the gunman. Pure animal rage, fueled by the instinct to survive, sent her clawing first for his eyes. At the last split second, he flinched away. Her nails scraped down his cheek, drawing blood. Before he could shift his aim with his gun, she grabbed his wrist, wrenching desperately for control for the gun. He held fast. Not with all her strength could keep the gun at bay, keep the barrel from turning towards her. It was the last image that Vicki registered: that black hole, slowly turning until it was pointed straight at her face. Something lashed at her from the side. Pain exploded in her head, shattering the world into a thousand slivers of light. They faded, one by one, into darkness as she finally recognized who her captor was...It was Chet Duke... CUE: Riddick, Kristy, Chet, or anyone else!
  21. **AUTHOR NOTE--Special Thanks to Riddick & Kristy for the idea on this post and the one that follows. If y'all borrow my character in the future, go nicely on her! lol ** *********** Meanwhile in Chickasaw - about 30 minutes earlier... "Hi, Sheriff. I came in here as soon as my shift was over," said Vicki as she walked into her Boss's office. Sheriff "Big Ed" Little, Chickasaw County Sheriff smiled at the petite redhead deputy. "Good. How was your patrol this afternoon?" he asked. "Not too bad," said Vicki, giving Sheriff Little a stack of tickets. "I gave out at least a dozen speeding tickets, and a couple for reckless driving." "That's real good. You're turning out to be a great addition to my police force. Could you do me a favor and deliver some papers in Hazzard for me?" Vicki rolled her blue-gray eyes at the Sheriff. "What now?" she asked sarcastically then added, "The last time we were in Hazzard, we nearly arrested everyone for falsely banging up your patrol car. I'm not sure if Rosco or the Dukes are over it yet." "Well, at the time, I was in a bad mood to start with especially after chasing Bo & Luke Duke, and it was a couple of months ago," the Chickasaw Sheriff laughed. "Will you please do this for me?" Vicki nodded her head. "I guess so, Sheriff. But the next time you want some papers delivered to Hazzard, maybe we can take some money out of the budget, and buy one of those new fax machines." Sheriff Little laughed as he watched the redhead walk out of the Chickasaw County Courthouse doors... **ANOTHER POST FOLLOWS**
  22. **AUTHOR NOTE: Oh, How I wish it was snowing right now here instead of 100 degree heat! At least it can & will snow in fanfiction! lol ************** "Bo, we need to leave. The snow is getting worse," said Luke, putting his coat back on. "Yeah, but how do we do it? Do we break the General out of the impound yard?" asked Bo as he was putting his coat back on. "No, it's too risky. Rosco or Cletus might see us. We can't afford to spend the night in jail with the crooks that really robbed Boss's house still out there in the open. They might strike somewhere next," Luke said, shaking his head. "Y'all need to get something to drive that can handle this snowstorm," said Cooter as he opened his garage door. Vicki looked at her car. She knew what she had to do. She then walked over to where Bo & Luke was standing. "Cooter just finished working on my car, why don't you use her?" "YEE-HAW!" Bo squeeled, holding Vicki close then added, "You are really something! I could kiss you for that." Vicki giggled as Bo held her. "Vicki, you don't mind at all?" Luke asked. "Of course not!" said Vicki worriedly as she handed her car keys to Bo. "You guys need to figure out why those crooks framed you for robbing Boss's house. You need my car to go after them. The General or my patrol car would stand out too much." Just then, a loud crash could be heard in the distance. BOOM!!
  23. We're all still HUGE fans today, Kristy! Don't y'all agree??
  24. Vicki fumed as she watched the Explorer speed up in front of her. "Just my luck," she muttered under her breath then added, "Coy knows better than to get away from me. I'll arrest him for sure now!" Jack glanced back behind him as he heard the Chickasaw County's patrol car siren blaring. "Coy, you better step on it. She's looks really mad." "Katie, what do you have in mind on what to do about Vicki?" Coy asked, grinning at his wife. "Why don't you let Vicki pull you over and arrest us," Katie asked, putting her arms around her husband. "Katie, you're crazy! She can't arrest you. You're a Chickasaw County Deputy just like her," said Coy, pulling the Explorer over to the side of the road. "I know that, Coy. She can arrest me today. I'm not working today. It's my day off," said Katie as she glanced back behind her at the patrol car approaching them. "I don't know if I want to. She wasn't in a good mood when she left the house earlier this morning," said Coy as he heard a patrol car siren blaring in the distance. Jack placed a hand on Coy's arm. "Let's switch places. As mad as Vicki is right now, let her arrest me instead. She can take it out on me all night while I talk her into moving to California with me."
  25. Vicki peered outside at the blinding snow. "Y'all, before my family moved out here, I remember seeing a blizzard similiar to this back home in Tulsa. It was a freak snowstorm in March of "78". A foot of snow fell that year." "Wow! So you've been through this before?" Bo asked, putting his arm around Vicki's shoulders. "Yeah...nearly 3 years ago now. It was a lot of fun for me trying to learn how to drive in that mess," Vicki said and giggled as she looked at the snow coming down then added, "Hey, it is now starting to cover the street a little." Cooter opened the front door of his garage. "If you two are going to hide somewhere and wait for the crooks, you better leave soon. It's getting worse."
