  1. As Kristy stormed out of the Courthouse, a black mustang convertible pulls up in front of Boss & Lulu's house a few minutes later. Looking out the window at the newcomer, Lulu Hogg squeeled. "Vicki! What are you doing here?" she asked excitedly as she watched the petite redhead get out of the mustang. "Nothing much, Lulu," replied the redhead. "Just needed to get away from Chickasaw County for a few days. It's been too hectic over there. Had two robberies at the bank there in the last week. I'm still after the people who did it." "I'm glad that you're here now, Vicki. I'm sure that Rosco will be glad to see you too. Come on in. We have alot to talk about," Lulu said, taking Vicki's suitcase as they walked up the steps of the front porch of the house. Cue: Whoever is ready!
  2. That's great news for you, Jess! Maybe CMT here in the US will be able to pick up the dukes too soon! Take Care & Have a Great Night! Vicki
  3. Vicki looked at the falling snow out the window, and at Rosco who was going back to the Courthouse. "PEACE & QUIET at last since Rosco had to leave " "Sure looks that away, sugar," said Bo, wrapping his arms around the redhead then added back to Luke, "Since he's gone, do you think that we need to start looking for the crooks?" "I'm not sure where they're hiding out, Bo. But WE need to hide out too. Rosco will probably start looking for us," said Luke as he glanced outside the falling snow coming down. "Luke, what can y'all do? You can't go back to the farm. That's the first place that Rosco will start looking," said Vicki as she & Bo walked up to Luke and Cooter. "I don't know, Vicki," said Luke as he continued to stare at the snow. "Man, this is the 1st time since I was little that I have seen a blizzard here in this part of Georgia."
  4. Good luck, Pendragon! I know that it is a lot of learning, but you'll have fun with it! It was a lot of fun for me when I went to nursing school last year!
  5. hello all! I also love that Mark Wills song, 19 something. It is a good song that I can relate to. Maybe it was because I grew up in a small hick town like Hazzard when I was little! lol I am also in y'alls generation too. I was born in 1972. I can remember watching the Dukes for the 1st time when I was 7 years old back in 1979. Dukes was my favorite TV show at the time, and Scooby Doo was my favorite cartoon! LOL Take Care & Have a Great Day! Vicki
  6. Hi, Rebel Wolf & Everyone else! Like everyone that posted on this topic, you're not the only one that remembers the Dukes when they were on CBS. I'm probably one of the oldest on here when I say this... I remember watching the Dukes for the 1st time back in 1979 when I was 7 years old. I remember my mother telling me yars later how I would play with my toy General Lee all over the house! Do y'all remember those little cars?? I wish that I still have them! Take Care Y'all & Have a Great Day! Vicki
  7. Yeah, this is down home site. Everyone always feel at home here, even neighbors like me that live in Chickasaw! lol! I just wonder about the rest of us that lives not in the North or South, but somewhere in between? I live in Oklahoma, it's not considered either one! Everyone on this site always makes me feel at home. But anyone making rude comments about the way someone writes or what they say isn't going to help anyone feel good about themselves. It might have hurt someone's feelings. ********** ********** Back to the subject of Casting Call... Who is the current cast for the movie?
  8. I agree! There are other authors on this site that has published Dukes fanfiction on other sites as well. Have you critizied them yet, Sway? Your comments reminds me alot of my 10-year-old daughter's remarks. She independent & rebelluous!
  9. Near the Hazzard/Chickasaw County line, Coy Duke was driving recklessly as he neared Cletus's speed trap. "Coy, are you sure that you should be driving like this?" Katie asked to her husband as she sat in the back seat of the red Ford Explorer. "Nah," laughed Coy then added, "Cletus won't give me a ticket. I'm doing exactly the speed limit." Coy then made a sharp turn that went into Chickasaw County. Sitting in the front seat on the passenger side, Jack tightened his seat belt. "Do you always drive like this?" Jack asked sarcastically. Coy laughed. "Only when I'm nearing the Chickasaw County line. Vicki's patrol car can be seen just over the hill in the trees. Maybe we'll let her pull us over." Looking at Jack then at Coy, Katie smiled brightly. "Honey, I have a better idea." said Katie as she whispered into Coy's ear.
  10. **About 45 minutes later...** About 45 minutes later near the Hazzard/Chickasaw County line, Vicki sat in her Chickasaw County patrol car watching the clouds go by. Just on the other side of the Hazzard County line, she could see Cletus's patrol car nestled in the trees. They were talking to each other through the CB. "So how is everything in Hazzard? How are Rosco & Lulu doing?" Vicki asked to Cletus through the CB. "Rosco & Lulu are fine. Just the same as always, Vicki. Real quiet. I haven't had to chase anyone, especially any of the Dukes, in weeks." Cletus said back into the CB mike. "Yeah, tell me about it. The only thing that I've done all week is give Coy a ticket for speeding through Chickasaw," Vicki giggled into the CB then added, "He didn't like it too much either." Cletus laughed at the redhead's remark. "At least you gave out at least one ticket to a Duke." "I guess so," said Vicki back into the CB mike as she glanced at the clouds...
  11. Hello all! Welcome all newcomers to Hazzard! I hope that y'all have a great stay here! My patrol car just lurks across the line into Chickasaw if ya ever want to speed through Chickasaw! LOL Y'all have a great day! Vicki
  12. Vicki smiled as she hung up the phone a few minutes later, thinking about what Jack had said. She couldn't believe that the LAPD had liked her resume'. Maybe she will be able to see her former best friend Enos Strate out there in California in the near future. And she couldn't believe that Jack had talked to her from an airplane just to tell her that. "It must have cost him a fortune just to tell me hello..." she thought to herself as she looked out the window of her apartment thinking about everything, including her conversation with Jack. Glancing at her grandfather clock, Vicki rushed into her & her daughter Rachel's bedroom. Katie followed closely behind. "Is there something wrong?" she asked to her best friend. "Well," said Vicki as she walked into her walk-in closet then added, "If I don't leave in about 5 minutes, I'll be late for my shift at the police station." "I thought that you weren't working today. I thought that "Big Ed" Little gave you the day off since you worked until 2a.m. this morning," Katie said surprised. "He did give me the day off," said Vicki, brushing her long auburn hair back into a ponytail then added, "But I have to go in for a while and do some paperwork for him. I'm just working at the Courthouse this afternoon." Katie looked at Vicki closely. She knew that the redhead had something on her mind, but she couldn't place it at the moment. She knew that it had something to do with Jack Stewart, but what was it???
  13. Vicki shivered away from the phone, with pleasure & misgiving. Did she really want to start another relationship with Jack so soon after she & Bo had divorced? "Am I completely ready to start an relationship with Jack after only dating each other on weekends for the last 3 weeks?" Vicki thought to herself, sighing loudly. She had been married before. She wasn't sure if she was ready for this. She wasn't eager to repeat her mistakes. On the other hand, Jack wasn't anything like Bo. She could trust him. She have trusted him so far. "Jack, you didn't catch me at a wrong time. What are you exactly doing on an airplane? Are you going to come here to tell me that you have good news about the resume' that I faxed out to the LAPD to your friend Steve Sloan?" Vicki asked sweetly back into the phone. Jack looked out the airplane window as it desended down through the clouds towards Atlanta International Airport. "You could say that, sweetheart." Jack said back into the phone as he looked outside the airplane window...
  14. I can't read the quotes on my pc, so it is hard for me to see it because they don't show up. lol Dialogue can be hard to write. I've had 2 years of dialogue classes at college, so writing the right words takes time. I know that most of the authors here have written all types of dialogue, just ask the moderators. They have written & created their characters more than 6+ years ago. And I've learned from experience writing with them what writing dialogue is all about. Have you any newcomers to Hazzard written an dialogue recently? It can be stressful at times, especially if you were new at it like I was 5 years ago. That would be something to think about... Other than that, comments can help --maybe--. Maybe Not...but it makes me think about my writing and if I want to continue in the future. Take Care Y'all Vicki
  15. Opinions really doesn't matter, sometimes they help and sometimes they don't. It really doesn't matter... I DO know that they have helped other authors here in the past. Stories and other creations made by the authors out there are there for enjoyment only. Some of my stories can also be based on a true story. I wrote one last year that was based on a emtional experience that happened to me back in 2000. Even this freak snowstorm story that some of y'all don't like was actually the Great Tulsa Snowstorm--15 inches of snow on March 12, 1994. It made the national news. What about El Nino back in early 1998? There were come crazy weather patterns then. Fanfic stories would never be for real except in our imaginations. Just remember that. Anything can happen in Hazzard County when you least expect it, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, and even freak snowstorms.... Take Care Vicki
  16. I hope that you're having a good time, Jax. What part of Austin are you in? My husband's family lives in Dripping Springs, Texas. That's just north of Austin. Take Care & Have a good time! Vicki
  17. 8/6/04 Hello all & greatings from sunny Malibu California! LOL! **Not! Just from my character Vicki who is relaxing out there temporarily!** To all newcomers browsing into Hazzard County & the surrounding counties Somewhere in Georgia or somewhere in the south according to the Dukes Companion, if y'all have it! Any new comments should be posted here in the future, not in a middle of any of my short storylines, it could conflict it if transferred over somewhere in the future. *Maybe...* sighs Have fun writing y'all & Take Care! Vicki
  18. I have the cassette, but not the CD of the Dukes soundtrack. I think that it was pretty good, and there was even a Johnny Cash song that was good! I think the name of it was called "The Ballad of the General Lee." if I'm right! LOL! Y'all have a great day & take care! Vicki
  19. AUTHOR NOTE: **LOL! So So Sorry I didn't know. We only get about an inch of snow on average here in Northern Oklahoma every winter. But sometimes freak weather accidents CAN happen, especially in fanfiction! And in this Storyline ONLY, it can happen! 8) ********* NOW BACK TO THE SNOWY STORYLINE... ********* ********* ********* Bo looked out the window at the falling snow. "Luke, when was the last time that it snowed like this?" "Well, back in December it was almost cold enough to snow, but it's nothing like this. This has to be a FREAK snowstorm," Luke said as he looked outside the loft window at the snow coming down, then watching Rosco go back inside the Courthouse. "Oh, good. Rosco is going back inside the Courthouse." "That's good. Let's go downstairs," said Bo as he followed Luke down the ladder to the garage...
  20. AUTHOR NOTE: This is a continuous story originally written back in May to November 1999. I have been writing Dukes fics since December 1998, and a member of Hazzardnet since January 2002. I'm not on-line everyday to write on this one! **If y'all would like to add any future comments to this storyline or any others, I do have a comment page here in story ideas or you can E-mail me or private message me!** Second part is that I have seen several stories in the past on different sites that involved the Dukes in a Snowstorm, blizzard, etc.. Maybe Hazzard is located near the mountains, maybe not, even though there are mountains in the backgrounds on some of the episodes, and in that Christmas episode, they had on heavy coats! I do know that Hazzard(even though it is fictional) is located near Atlanta, and Atlanta has snow every winter. My best friend lives there! I'm am so sorry... 8) ****NOW BACK TO REGULAR SCHEDULE PROGRAMMING**** ****STORY CONTINUES NEXT POST****
  21. Up in Cooter's loft, Vicki was giggling softly as she heard to Rosco's & Cooter's conversation. "This is really a show. I just hope that Rosco doesn't find out that Cooter & I help y'all escape out of jail." "Yeah, Cooter is really giving Rosco a good shuck-n-jive," said Bo, looking down as he watched Rosco talk to Cooter. "Yeah," said Luke, noticing that Rosco was searching the garage then added, "We better keep quiet. Rosco is liable to see us up here if we're too loud." Rosco shook his head. "Cooter, I know that you have seen them sometime today." "Rosco, the last I heard, you had Bo & Luke in jail," said Cooter as he finished tightening a bolt on the mustang. Rosco shook his head. "No, they're gone. Cletus said that they escaped while he was out on patrol." "Well, you can continue to search for them, but I know that they ain't here," said Cooter as he puts the hood down on the mustang, then sat on top of it. "No, they're probably already back at the farm. I need to leave and go out and find them before the snow gets any worse. Talk to you later, Cooter," said grumbled Rosco as he left the garage. "Suit yourself, Rosco. Have fun out there in the snow," yelled Cooter as he shut the garage door after Rosco left.
  22. AUTHOR NOTE: **Hello all. Sorry for Delays on this storyline. I'm glad that some of y'all still enjoy the way I write, even though it is not everyday. lol. I'm going to go ahead & finish this story. It is near done anyway. New crossover story have been updated on fanfiction.net as of 7/22/04. Take Care Y'all & Have a good night!** ********* ********* "Honey, you should know where I'm at," Jack laughed back into the phone then added, "Can't you hear all that buzzing? I'm on an airplane." Vicki stared at the phone, trying to find the right words. "Where are you heading? Back to New York to see your father?" Vicki asked back into the phone. She was surprised, but excited at the same time. For all she knew, Jack was on his way to see her. "No, just taking a little trip to clear my head. Mark gave me the ok to do it," said Jack back into the airplane phone then added, "Did I catch you at a bad time?"
  23. AUTHOR NOTE: Hello all, I'm back to writing on this winter fic, even though it is summer! Y'all can think of the cold weather! lol ** ******** Cooter was trying to act natural as Rosco burst into the door of the garage. "All right, Cooter! Where are they? Cletus told me that they headed this way!" Barked Rosco as he looked around the Garage. "Where is Who?" Cooter asked, as he was tightening a bolt on Vicki's blue mustang. (This is well before she got it rebuilt & repainted) Rosco looked closely at the blue mustang. "They have to be close! You're working on Vicki's mustang, and this is her day off from working for me. Bo Duke has to be nearby. Normally when Vicki isn't working, she's with him most of the time. I'm going to take a look around the garage for them." "Help yourself, Rosco," Cooter said, trying to keep from laughing then added, "But I haven't seen them all morning."
  24. "What's wrong?" Vicki asked as she walked over to where Cooter was standing. "Is Rosco walking over here?" asked Luke as he walked over to where Cooter and Vicki were standing. Cooter shook his head. "Him too, but it is starting to snow again, and its coming down heavily." Vicki glanced outside at the snow and at Rosco, who was walking across the street. "I can't believe that it has starting snowing again." She then slipped her arm around Bo's waist. "It was snowing on us yesterday afternoon." "I know, sugar," Bo said as he smiled at Vicki then added, "Why is t snowing in Hazzard?" "I don't know either, y'all. But I think that y'all better hide quick because Rosco is right outside the door," said Cooter, shutting his garage door. "Come on, you two!" Luke barked at Bo and Vicki then added, "Let's get out of here!" Luke then quickly climbed the ladder, followed by Bo and Vicki. Cooter had just raised the hood on Vicki's car as Rosco walked in the garage door out of the blinding snow outside...
  25. "Vicki, what about Bo?" Katie asked, surprised by the redhead's remark. "I don't know, Katie." Vicki said as a stray tear fell down her face. "I know that it has been a year since Bo and I separated. I still have strong feelings for him." "What about Jack? How do you feel about him?" Katie asked as she handed Vicki a tissue. "I don't know, except that he makes me happy when I'm around him," Vicki said as she talked back into the phone. "I'm back. So where are you?"
