Yep I kinda remember reruns of that guy on my local pbs too I think, and yes George Carlin did do a few seasons with Thomas, lol perhaps this will bring back memories In addition to Dukes I recently started to collect the vintage diecast models made for the Thomas show. (Ironically made by ERTL as well )

Does anyone here remember a guy on PBS called Bob Ross? His voice was so relaxing!

Howdy y’all, so I just got gifted a nice acoustic guitar in great shape, music/guitar stand, books, picks, tuner gadget, etc I want to learn but I wonder if anyone here has any advice or experience on learning guitar. I would love to teach myself how to play Good Ol Boys or General Lee by Johnny Cash. Or Momma’s don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys. Let me know y’all!

Well y’all in the past 24 hours, life hasn’t been too eventful but I did go to visit a friend who was staying in town, hung out with her and her doggo. Cute as button, but so strong. That pup pulled me and I’m a full grown man. What happened was she was just going to get something at the nearby convenience store… the dog went nuts and started pulling me along even though I dug my heels in. Guess you just can’t get between a dog and their momma. Lol.

Although some of you may remember it aired under a different name in America on PBS I only discovered Dukes when my adoptive dad came into the scene lol. Also thanks for the belated wishes And I didn’t know about that actually, been meaning to look into the animated series more. I know a box set was released by Warner Bros at one time, of the cartoon series. Not sure if it’s still in print or not.
