  1. La Bamba (1987) Ritchie's Ten Day Tour. In this scene, Ritchie bought his mom a house. https://youtu.be/c1ZmKq8d4_0?si=_S3KQJXjVnYCzAFn
  2. I wear glasses but I take them off to recreate the scenes. Fans tell me "Now we know why they got ship wrecked, you should've left your glasses on Skipper!" Lol.
  3. I laugh at this La Bamba (1987) scene in the recording studio when Ritchie is singing and each time Bob Keane says "Cut" Ritchie starts singing again with different words and Bob Keane says "Ritchie don't rewrite the song. Just sing it the way you did the first time ok." I laugh at this too when he tells Ritchie this too "Look Ritchie, I've been to Mexico. I lived there. I know the tradition in music they're always changing the lyrics." Ritchie Valens:"I'm sorry but my music is my music. It's just the way I sing." Bob Morales:"You tell 'em cabron!"
  4. Hahaha "You got a girl out of a machine? Lordy, what won't they think of next?" Lol.
  5. Gilligan's Island Fun Fact: Did you know that Alan Hale Jr., the beloved actor who played the Skipper on Gilligan's Island, was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea, fulfilling his final wish? A fitting tribute to a man who spent so much time on the water, and in the hearts of fans everywhere.
  6. I've posted so many topics about The Day The Music Died on my Facebook account, I'm surprised my friends haven't said "Next subject already please!" Lol.
  7. It's very comical in the YouTube videos comments section. Fans argue back and forth about Ritchie Valens age. They say: "He was 17." "He was older." "No he was only 17!" "No he was older!"
  8. Rock 'N' Roll Stars Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, & J. P. The Big Bopper Richardson ages: Buddy Holly 22, Ritchie Valens 17, J. P. The Big Bopper Richardson 28. Pilot Roger Peterson: 21. All the stars looked older than their ages. I wonder if it goes for their pilot too.
  9. Why did an ambulance show up to the Rock 'N' Roll stars Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, J. P. The Big Bopper Richardson and Pilot Roger Peterson plane crash on February 3, 1959? Everyone was dead. An ambulance wasn't needed. Wow!
  10. I wonder what ingredients go in Alf's drink in his series episode Somewhere Over the Rerun. His Skipper Coladas in those Coconuts. He drilled the hole open and filled them with something. I wonder what kind of booze you put in there? I wanna replicate The Skipper Colada.
  11. La Bamba (1987). Classroom scene. Ritchie Valens:(Staring at Donna.)"Who's the blonde?" Ritchie Valens Friend:"I don't know. But she's out of your league. Forget her. Concentrate on that audition." Ritchie Valens (Continuing to stare at Donna.):"I think I'm in love!"
  12. Friends... What do you think 1950s Rock 'N' Roll stars Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens & J. P. The Big Bopper Richardson would've done if they didn't die in that plane crash on February 3, 1959? Buddy Holly's Fellow band mate and friend Waylon Jennings once said "I think Buddy would've turned to Country Music!"
  13. I know about Ozzy Osbourne. He's about all though.
  14. Just saw an alternate ending to La Bamba (1987) that has me feeling all the feels! In this version, Ritchie Valens survives the plane crash and makes it back to his family. I love it! Who else wishes the movie had ended like this? #LaBamba #AlternateEnding #RitchieValens"
  15. Part of Stephen King's Christine Chapter 30 Moochie Welch "He saw the car sitting idling at the curb. It seemed to brood. White exhaust curled from it's twin pipes. Moochie licked his lips. His mouth became dry. Moochie began to be afraid. He opened his mouth to speak and produced no sound. He tried again. This time he produced a small croak." "Hey Cunningham. Is that you Cunningham? Hey, you ain't mad are ya?" "Christine's duals suddenly came on, pinning him in harsh white light." In this part of the book when the lights suddenly come on, I hear John Carpenter's movie music beat when the lights turn on. I also hear Malcolm Danare when Moochie speaks. I hear and see every Christine movie actor in this book, and I hear every movie song in it. Songs are different in the book, but example, I hear Little Bitty Pretty One when Moochie gets killed just like in the movie. Even though that's not the song the book version of the scene was playing. I do this with James McLendon's Eddie Macon's Run too. I see and hear John Schneider, Kirk Douglas etc and I hear the movie songs like John Schneider's Forevermore and the other ones he sings in the movie.
  16. Season 2 Jude Emery Waylon Jennings:"Welcome again to Hazzard County. Hazzard is the pleasant little spot where several southern states come together. An' that's all I'm allowed to tell you. Because everybody would wanna go there."
  17. A guy named Scott's advice in a Dukes of Hazzard Facebook group to another guy in the group wanting to buy a 1:18 scale Auto World General Lee. "Whatever you do, don’t even consider buying from the scammers hause something top, I can’t remember the full name, but I saw it in the videos advertising a 1/18 auto world for $10.99, googled the name and it said it’s a scam, and obviously if the price sounds too good to be true, it is." My reply to Scott "Scott Buchberger Exactly. I had it happen to me on eBay with a Skipper's hat from Gilligan's Island. The guy Bluenox advertised it with Mouse Braiding like Alan Hale Jr.'s Lancaster Uniform Cap Co. hats had on them, but he shipped me a Gorget Braid hat instead. It was $38 excluding shipping. I paid $78.29 because the shipping he hid was $40.29 it was a bait and switch tactics scam. My mom is handy at crafts and made my Mouse Braid and put it on there."
  18. I been binging 1950s Rock 'N' Roll music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J. P. The Big Bopper Richardson all night on YouTube. So much better than today's Rock 'N' Roll music. Back then you could understand it. Today R&R is just noise with a few intelligible words thrown in.
  19. La Bamba (1987) Trivia: Lou Diamond Phillips learned Spanish to sing La Bamba, and he did all the singing in the movie La Bamba (1987) himself. No dubs, no lip syncing none of that jazz. It was authentic. I heard a backstory about it. The backstory goes he was approached by the production team about them dubbing him, or him lip syncing to the real Ritchie's music, and he said "No. I want to do all the singing myself."
  20. Walk the Line (2005) Trivia: I heard that just like with Lou Diamond Phillips (Ritchie Valens) La Bamba (1987), the production team of Walk the Line wanted Joaquin Phoenix to be dubbed or lip sync Johnny Cash's songs. Just like Lou did with Ritchie, Joaquin refused and sang all Cash songs himself. He learned to play the guitar too. Reece Witherspoon also did her own singing as June Carter.
  21. Did y'all know Kevin Peter Hall(Harry Henderson) the Bigfoot is in The Dukes of Hazzard series finale Season 7 Opening Night at the Boars Nest as the big tall guy of the 2 who kidnap Boss Hogg?
  22. La Bamba (1987) Fun Fact: The actor playing Bob Morales hurt his foot when he jumped the fence to go comfort Ritchie's Mom. The scene when he hops the fence and paused before going around the corner to her giving her some time for a minute before going to her.
  23. Alf:"You know Gilligan, that Mary Ann has s kind of cute. Why haven't you ever asked her out?" Gilligan:"Where would we go!?" Alf:"Ha ha ha! Where would we go!? Ha ha ha!" Skipper:"This little fella is easily amused Gilligan!" Gilligan:"Yeah! I like him!"
  24. Mary Ann:"I see we have another visitor." Gilligan:"This is Alf. He's from Melmac." Mary Ann:"How come everybody can get to this island, but we can't get off?" Gilligan:"Really? I must've overlooked the pattern." Skipper (Conks Gilligan on the head with his Skipper hat, which goes "Bonk!") Alf:"Ha ha! I never get tired of that!" Gilligan:(Disgruntled.)"I get tired of it!"
