The ending of The Village just made the film a waste of time in my opinion. It's because of that movie I'm wary of watching any other films by Shyamalan. The ones he did before that were great. I love ghost story movies myself. The Conjuring and Annabelle ones are great. I guess growing up in a haunted house made me a fan of the genre. I'll never forget the look on my then girlfriend's, now wife, face when the one rocking chair slid across the floor on it's own. Had to explain to her it was just the friendly child ghost just goofing off. Sorry to get off topic...

Lately I've been bingeing videos on the Project Farm channel on YouTube. It's nice to see some honest comparison tests on various products from a good old country boy. Did some zen gardening yesterday morning, that helped drop my stress level. Weather wise we might set two records this week. Forecasters are saying we might set a new high temp tomorrow and a new low temp Friday morning.

With the COTA race called because of rain Hendrick motorsports has now tied Petty Enterprises in 268 Cup series wins. Chase Elliott also gave Chevrolet it's 800th cup series win. Austin Cindric surprised everyone leading the first 5 laps on slicks and maintaining an 8+ second lead before pitting for rain tires. Stage two begun with a several accidents, the biggest when Cole Custer ran into the back of Martin Truex jr who was slow because of hitting Michael McDowell. All driver's walked away with no injury's. They red flagged the race for a while to clean the debris and blow off some of the puddles on the track and to allow teams to Rain X the windshields and back windows. They race restarted on lap 29 and stayed green till lap 54 when it was red flagged for heavy rain. This race ended William Byron's consecutive top 10 streak at 11 races. Top 10 1 Chase Elliot 2 Kyle Larson 3 Joey Logano 4 Ross Chastain 5 AJ Allmendinger 6 Chase Briscoe 7 Michael McDowell 8 Alex Bowman 9 Tyler Reddick 10 Kyle Busch Coca Cola 600 is next Sunday at 6pm eastern on Fox.

Well it looks like the Inaugural COTA race is going to be called early for rain even though they have rain tires. To be honest I hope this is just a one and done deal if officials are just going to park the cars because of rain. From now on just postpone the races to dry days.

I got the weekend off from mowing since we haven't had rain in over a week here so I'm looking forward to just relaxing and watching the COTA Nascar races. Also nurturing a plant back to life that I bought on clearance from a store today, I already soaked it in rain water which perked it up a bit. Y'all have a good weekend.

They actually have the videos up on their website now https://www.thedoctorstv.com/videos/john-schneider-on-being-unapologetic-about-dukes-of-hazzard Love how the lady says she grew up on the Dukes but now won't watch it because of the flag and keeps hammering her point no matter what John says. The other Dr made a good call by ending the interview there as she was just going to keep it up. Here's the other part of the interview https://www.thedoctorstv.com/videos/dukes-of-hazzards-john-schneider-takes-on-modern-day-bullying I also shared the links on your FB post.

I'll try and catch it during lunch. I think I know how it's going to go and I wouldn't be surprised if John gets villified though.

It's pretty sad when you can't warn people to be careful in certain areas of the city and your neighborhood post gets removed because it might offend someone even though I used no cuss words or offensive words. Wow we are at a point in society where you can't even alert people now .

Well it appears this is a rumor no more as Bob Pockrass is stating it's a done deal. Either Joey Logano or Matt Dibenedetto will move to the #2 or Austin Cindric will be moved up to Cup to drive the #2 in 2022.

Rumor has it that Rough Fenway Racing has offered Brad Keselowski a minority stake in RFR if he decides to leave Penske racing at the end of the season https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2021/05/18/report-brad-keselowski-offered-driver-owner-role-at-roush-fenway-racing/

It wouldn't surprise me if the story if that car being haunted is real. This guy I know had a late 60's Dodge Dart. He gave it to his son and his son ended up getting killed in an accident. He held on to the car and eventually gave it to his grandson who ended up dying in an accident as well. Neither of the accidents took place in the Dart but I always thought it was a strange coincidence that they perished after taking ownership of the Dart. The guy ended up selling the Dart after his family said the car has got to go.

Not too get to political but an interesting thing happened in Connecticut last week... A high school student got arrested for a social media post about a classmate. The charge was ridicule on account of creed, religion, color, denomination, nationality, race and 2nd degree breach of peace. According to the article there were no threats made in the social media post, just disparaging racist remarks. Will be interesting to see if they can actually get a guilty verdict out of this considering the 1st amendment aka Freedom of Speech. If they do get a guilty verdict I'm sure this will be taken to the supreme court eventually.

I figured out of the "rookie" Indycar class this year Romain would be the one that would acclimate the best. I would not be surprised to see him win at least once before the season is over. At Dover it was a Hendrick Motorsports smackdown. Kyle Larson dominated winning both the stages however it was his teammate Alex Bowman in the 48 who would lead the team to a 1,2,3,4 finish. Top 10 1 Alex Bowman 2 Kyle Larson 3 Chase Elliot 4 William Byron 5 Joey Logano 6 Kevin Harvick 7 Denny Hamlin 8 Tyler Reddick 9 Daniel Suarez 10 Cole Custer

Yesterday was fun... Trailing arm snapped while the wife was out running errands leaving her stranded. She called a friend who has AAA so it could at least get towed back home. Dispatcher goofed up the address and sent the driver to the wrong place. After 90 minutes my wife called AAA again asking where the tow truck was and was told "nobody was there" to which my wife replied I've been stranded here for the past 2 hours I haven't gone anywhere and was told it would be about 6:30 till another truck could be dispatched to her. She found a number to the tow company our mechanic gave us and called that and he was there within half an hour and towed it to the mechanics. I don't know if AAA is short handed or what but with service like that I'm glad I didn't waste money on a membership this year.

Yeah if her shorts were an issue I think they would have told her at the entrance gates not when she was already in the park for some time. Another guest(s) probably complained about her wardrobe. They could have just told her to buy a sweatshirt and tie it around her waist, then again it seems all common sense is out the window these days and everything is taken to extreme's.

The "re-make" was pretty good. I seen the first one when I was a kid, I never wanted a talking anything toy after seeing that .

It's the new way to wage war. They hit hospitals, one towns water cleaning system etc... I recommend watching Live Free or Die Hard. It may be a movie but some of it is for real happening right now. Company's need to take responsibility and keep their computer systems, firewall and anti virus up to date and teach their employees not to click on non-work emails or links. I'm not surprised about the panic buying of gas, look what happened to toilet paper last year. I don't think you have anything to worry about Roger, you being in western Pennsylvania probably get gas and petroleum from Ohio.

Bars Interesting you mention that as there's supposedly a tiger on the loose in Houston Texas.

A young lady got kicked out of 6 flags for wearing Daisy Dukes https://www.yahoo.com/news/woman-says-she-body-shamed-131942660.html I don't know what 6 flags wardrobe policy's are but I do know at Cedar Point the shorts have to be pretty close to the knee. One time I went there I had to put tape over the word 'hell' on my hat, it had a picture of Bart Simpson and one of his catchphrases.

For those that want to reminisce Nascar has been uploading some classic races to their YouTube channel interesting hearing the v6's in the old Busch series of the 80's.

Sorry about your losses Roger and Hobie. Friday I felt like Al Bundy , even though there was blue sky above me I got drenched from off and on rain showers in the afternoon while mowing. Thought to myself 'is there a rain cloud just following me around' .
