  1. Works for me! Been workin' on my Minnie Pearl impression... ready? "HOWDEEEEEEEEE!!!"
  2. Inga, you're absolutely right. With the movie there would be a renewed interest in the series again. And I'm all for that.
  3. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Meter maid? Hmm....I think instead what I'll do is buy those DVD's "Bay City Police Procedures" (otherwise known as S&H), study them and then practice those new methods on some unsuspectin' thug, such as yourself. Then, assumin' you live, *you* and the rest of yer kind can go to Green Acres. BAHAHAHAHHAHAA!! MaryAnne
  5. Hmm....I wonder if Bay City is offering any advanced police trainin'. I think I oughta sign up... MaryAnne
  6. Given the cameo's David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser (I think I spelt his last name wrong.LOL) had in S&H, John and Tom will probably end up being seedy car dealers in Atlanta. Or the two bit crooks hired by Boss. Or they'll split the role of Hobie, the town drunk. Can y'all tell how I'm feelin' about the prospects of this movie? ROFL.
  7. BAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Guess! Just GUESS which character I rated as??? Khee! I'm gonna put that lil' quiz thang on my site! For those of ya who can't guess who I rated as you'll have to wait n' see. =)
  8. More n' likely Jessica Simpson, because apparently the latest issue of People magazine says she's now being considered for the role of Daisy Duke. Pardon my editorial comments here but.... FOR GOD'S SAKE CAN THEY TAKE IT ANY LOWER?!?!?!?!??! $*(#!*$(!! Ugh. Thank you for letting me vent. LOL. Of course, if this is the trend for just the role of Daisy I shudder to think who's being considered for such roles as Rosco, Jesse, Cooter, Boss and of course the Dukes. Gaaaaahhhhhhh........
  9. Well, there was also the blue 1975 Plymouth Fury that Bo and Luke drove in the episode "Mary Kaye's Baby." There was no General Lee at all in that episode. Your discussion board may have been thinking of that car too. Incidentally...can you post the link to the board? I'd be curious to see it. Always on the look out for other Dukes related sites.
  10. Welcome to HNet Lady Amanda. Well, if'n I recall correctly, the car Coy n' Vance arrived in Hazzard in was a blue Plymouth Roadrunner (similar to Daisy's first car...a '74). I seem to think the car had a white stripe running over the hood and roof. That car was toasted for lunch by the mean green machine. LOL
  11. True. ROFL. The name ain't Coltrane fer nothing. KHEE! Lisa
  12. Dukesofhazzardfanfic.com is in the process of being moved to a new server. I don't have a time table yet on when things will be back up. Mufn has to some things on her end with the new server before the site comes back up. Y'all stay tuned. =) Lisa
  13. My trouble with was the FTP (I create my web pages off line and then when I'm online I connect using FTP from the program I created the files in and upload them that way.) I found uploading with the File Manager thing cumbersome too, that's why I use the FTP. And I panicked because for the past three days I wasn't able to connect to my two sites and I'm thinking "GAAAHH!!!" And of course, Fortune City won't give you any help unless you're a paying customer. Yeeesh. However, this morning I just tried to connect again and it worked this time. So the crisis is over. LOL. We return you to your regularly scheduled program. Lisa
  14. Anybody out there have a free website at Fortune City?? If so....is anybody having any technical difficulties????? Help. LOL Lisa
  15. That's true, it's never too late to repent.... Incidentally, Sky... a theif can lead an honest life. Long as he honest about being a theif. =) MaryAnne
  16. For those of you who bypass the main page, I've got a great announcement for y'all. The first season of the Dukes of Hazzard will be released on DVD on June 1st, 2004! http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=1205 Yeeehaaaawww!!! Lisa
  17. I'll second that. Happy Birthday Cathy!
  18. Almost out of nowhere, Rosco and Brian were greeted by MaryAnne and Cully. MaryAnne threw her arms around her kin. "Thank you for not beatin' the petunias outta each other!" she said and laughed with relief. Cully smiled. "We saw the whole thing. Y'all got some good moves tho', I woulda liked to see ya continue--ow!" MaryAnne had turned and whapped Cully on the arm. "I was kiddin'!" he said with a laugh. MaryAnne laughed too.
  19. Rosco returned the embrace and then let go just enough to leave one arm around Brian's shoulders. "Sounds good to me. Khee! C'mon, let's go find MaryAnne and Cully an' show 'em we didn't beat the petunias outta each other."
  20. Rosco looked at Brian and smiled. He then raised his own arms. "I forfeit too. Because you're more important to me than winning this thing. I don't care about ego or money....I only care about my kin." Rosco put his arms down and took a step toward Brian. "Cousin..." (cue Brian!)
  21. Rosco was quiet for a moment as he considered Brian's question. Was winning this thing worth knocking Brian out? Was Rosco willing to go that far? No.... he wasn't. Sure, he and Brian could put on a good fisticuff, but Brian was right. They had gone easy on each other thus far. Rosco's blue eyes betrayed his answer but he held back from vocalizing it. Instead, he asked the same question of Brian. "Are you?" (cue Brian!)
  22. Rosco stood pat, grinning. "You forfeit first?"
  23. Sitting on his posterior, Rosco looked up at Brian and stuck his tongue out in return. "Same to you," he muttered. "Tho' that was a good move..." He quickly stood up and took a step back from Brian, subconciously bringing his hand to his bruised hip. "Yep, that was a good one awright..." He took a step to the side, keeping an eye on Brian, calculating his next move. He then suddenly rushed at Brian and grabbed a hold of his younger cousin. As Brian tried to turn to squirm out of the grip, Rosco hooked his foot and leg around Brian's good leg from behind and pulled back, tripping Brian up and sending him back down to the floor in heap. Rosco then quickly stepped back away from him. "Khee! But yer still kissin' the floor!" (cue Brian!)
  24. "Yeah..." Rosco paused a moment, still tasting the popcorn. "That popcorn needs more salt! Jit!" He paused a moment, keeping Brian held tight in the hold. "Khee, does the floor there taste any better?" (cue Brian!)
  25. Rosco was uncerimoniously pushed off the laps of those he'd landed on and he landed on his backside on the ground. A few pieces of popcorn had landed on him and sat in the folds of his t-shirt over his stomach. He picked up the pieces and ate them. "Mmm...yum." He looked up at the ring. "Think I'll just sit right here and watch the rest of the fight. Go ahead, Brian, knock yerself out!! KHEE!" Rosco pushed himself up and looked at Brian through the ropes. A devilish grin came to the Sheriff's face and he pulled himself up on to the apron and climbed back into the ring. Yes, Rosco had an answer for Brian's move. He stepped towards Brian, which forced the younger Coltrane to move. The two cousins circled the ring a couple of times and then Rosco charged at Brian and grabbed him around the waist, bringing him down to the ring floor. Rosco turned Brian face down and pulled both of Brian's arms behind his back, holding both wrists tightly. Rosco also settled just enough of his own weight on a knee over Brian's lower back, pinning him down. "Okay, Brian..." (Cue Brian!)
