  1. Hi Tara, Well ya got a couple of options. They are... 1. Post the story directly here in the forums (under Stories in Progress). You can then set up a seperate page for folks to post feedback. 2. Put the story together in nice html format, send to HNet fanfiction. http://www.hazzardnet.com/index.php/10 3. Put the story together in nice html format, send to DukesofHazzardFanFic.com. http://www.dukesofhazzardfanfic.com The last two options you'll want to include your email address so folks can send you feedback. 8) MaryAnne
  2. To post pics, that's exactly how you do it. LOL. alt+p will also put the tags in. To get an avatar, just go to your profile, go down to the bottom where it says "Avatar" put in the URL for the pic you want to use (make sure it's not a really HUGE pic) and voila!
  3. Re: Brad's fine rant. I kiss the Canadian! MMWAH!!
  4. I have this movie on DVD too! I love the begining with the old time chase and the Charlie Daniels song. =) "Son, I need my mirror now...." "Lugs! Lean out a little more to the left, I'm gonna make a turn." ROFL! Along with Smokey and the Bandit this was one of the first DVD's I made a few snaps of. Here's The Intimidator with the King's son...
  5. The Fall Guy Hardcastle and McCormick Maverick The Rockford Files
  6. That's odd. The Jeep in the movie is a silver Rubicon. Near as I can tell from all the spyreports we've seen over the last several months there's no decals on it at all (ie, the eagle or the Dixie name). Why don't they put out a kit of the actual Jeep she drives in the film, instead of repackaging the original Jeep, making a slight change and then promoting it with the new movie??? It's like putting out a kit for a white '69 Cadillac convertile and putting Burt Reynolds pic on the box. The Caddy Burt drives in the movie isn't the '69. Or the '78 Fury with MC Gainey.... or... Hey. Ya know I just thought of something. Do we know what Jesse's driving in this movie? I'm assuming it's a Ford pick up truck but I hasten to guess. ROFL
  7. Thank ya Miss Essy.
  8. wLc....thanks for posting the pic itself. I went searching through the EW site and couldn't find it. Awright you Duke boys.... FREEEEEEZE!!!!!!!!
  9. Actually Yahoo reported that back on Thursday.... Yahoo! AlertsYahoo! News - My Alerts - Edit Alert Thursday, May 19, 2005 1:30 PM PDT NELSON AND SIMPSON RE-MAKE 'THESE BOOTS...' The track will be for the first single from the soundtrack to new movie THE DUKES OF HAZZARD, in which they both star. But thanks anyway!!
  10. MaryAnne regarded Chet a moment, sensing the rustler's want to belong somewhere in his offer of help and she nodded appreciatively with a smile. "Awright then." She looked at everyone. "Let's get back to town." A tug on the reins and a nudge to Phoenix's sides, the Appaloosa led the way down the trail back toward town. (cue anyone!)
  11. Old writers never die. They just fade away.... 8)
  12. MaryAnne was relieved to see the Strate siblings and once they asked their questions, she tried her best to explain. "We've got a problem," she said. She then explained why Chet hadn't rode onward, meeting up with Black Jack Dakota's posse, the shooting, the explosion of Chet's dynamite knocking half the posse out and then Alex's misfortune to arrive and be forced to ride with Black Jack. Val's eyebrows went up a notch. "Good lord!" She looked back and forth between her brother and MaryAnne. "Who the heck is this Black Jack Dakota?!" "I shot his brother six month's ago," MaryAnne explained blandly. "I remember that," Enos said. "At the Boar's Nest. He had a few too many and challenged you." MaryAnne nodded. "He should have stuck to poker. He would've lost less." She looked at Val. "Anyway, what Domino lacked in marskmanship, Black Jack makes up for plenty. And with him forcing Alex into his posse, who knows how this thing is gonna turn out. One thing's for certain tho'...there's only one target Black Jack is looking for. And that's me." "MaryAnne, this is no time to be noble!" Val said. "I'm sure there's a way we can stop this sodbuster without you or the whole town getting shot up. Right, Enos?" Enos looked at his sister, trying to hide his uncertainty. "Sure, Val...there's always a way." He glanced at Chet before looking back at MaryAnne. "What about him?" "I told him he's free to go if he wishes. I'm also declaring amnesty, tho' he's the only one that knows about it." "Amnesty?" Enos said. "You were gonna hang 'em all yesterday!" "Yeah, yeah I know but he saved my hide. I'm not toally without principles." She grinned. "Anyway, we better hurry and get back to town before Black Jack gets there and starts shooting up the place looking for me." MaryAnne then looked at Chet. "I appreciate what you did. But I know no outlaw worth his shooting iron is gonna risk himself further to save a deputy. Whatever happens to me now, won't reflect on you any. Val and Enos know you didn't do anything to me. You're free to go..." (cue Chet!)
  13. Meanwhile, Rosco had come thundering back into town on his mustang. He pulled the reins hard and the white horse came to a skidding stop in the middle of the street. The town was quiet. Townsfolk were walking about, riders on horseback passed the Sheriff on the street, a carriage rattled by. Rosco wondered....maybe everything was okay? He prodded Lightening to move and aimed the horse toward the blacksmiths shop. Cooter Davenport looked up as the Sheriff approached, pushing his Confederate Army cap back on his head. "Howdy, Sheriff." "Cooter... you seen MaryAnne? Or Val 'n Enos?" Cooter thought a moment. "Nope, ain't seen 'em since they all rode out of town with those outlaws." Cooter paused. "Come to think of it that was quiet a spell ago." Rosco nodded and pulled his pocket watch out of his black vest. "Too long ago. They all should've been back here by now." "That's true.... hey, you don't know if ol' Boss is trying to open any new mines around here do ya?" Rosco shook his head. "Not that I'm aware of. Why?" "Well I heard an explosion off that way earlier." Cooter pointed in the direction MaryAnne had rode off in. "Figured maybe he was trying to find that elusive gold strike ya know?" "Explosion?" Rosco looked off in that direction and the bad feeling he had before now settled into the pit of his stomach. Lightening seemed agitated too for some reason and the horse started to move before Rosco made any command. "Listen, Cooter, if you see MaryAnne, Val or Enos let 'em know I'm lookin' for 'em!" "Will do!" Cooter watched as the Sheriff rode off and scratched his head. Something was wrong. (cue MaryAnne!....yes I'm cueing mahself, and I'll write it later. LOL)
  14. From Route 7/11 "...and as soon as Luke gets that look in his eye he says, 'I got it. Let's go, Bo,' and I get in trouble." Then later in the same conversation... "Oh, it's simple. You know for a minute there I thought we were gonna have to do something illegal."
  15. That's from "Luke's Love Story." I love that part too!
  16. Hmm....hate to be harsh but seriously look in to using the space bar.
  17. She's on her way! Good job on making it so far!

I assumed the purpose of the poll was to see what other tv shows we watched back in the day besides the Dukes. So I ignored the Dukes in the listing and voted for the A-Team although several of the shows I watched pretty religiously as well, including the Fall Guy and Simon and Simon. Putting the Dukes in the listing of a poll on a Dukes related board is like having an election where several candidates of several parties are on the ballot but only one party is allowed to vote. Guaranteed winner. ROFL
  21. Mahoney's job as a parking attendent.... "Park the car, butt breath." "Butt breath?" ROFL And then after the manger tells him to park the car, despite the lot being full, Mahoney puts the Trans Am up on two wheels and squeezes it between two other cars. "It fits!! The damn thing fits!!" ROFLMAO. Terrible thing to do to a Trans Am but the dude that owned it didn't deserve that car anyway. LOL ** "Po-lice worrrk is what youuu arrre heeere forrrrr. There will be a serieees of ex-am-in-a-tions which you....must....PASS!!" ** "Guns! Guns!! When do we get guns!?!?!" "Next!" ** "DROP THAT STEREO BEFORE I BLOW YOUR %*@ DAMN HEAD OFF @$&*%!!!!" "Tackelberry!!!....we have got to talk." ** "DON'T MOVE DIRT BAG!!" ** "Is this a trick question?" "No, this is not twick question!" ** ROFL...I've seen just about all the movies (except the last one...Mission to Moscow??? Or something). Anyway! The guy that played Tackleberry was in an episode of the Dukes. He was the driver for that fancy pants collector looking for the Canterbury Crock. Leslie Easterbrook (sp?) "Callahan" was also in the Dukes episode "The Fortune Tellers."
  22. I think the re-recorded theme towards the end of the trailer is Shooter Jennings. I think. LOL. I say this because it sounds like the same verison CMT used during the closing credits of their Inside Fame program. Definetly they have Waylon's original single release version of the theme in the background. It was good to hear that. The stunts alone are gonna carry this movie. THANK GOD they went with real stunts and not computer generated crap. YEEHAA!
  23. “So whats the plan deputy? I’d be obliged if you let me escort you back to town...†He sighed and shook his head. “I don’t want to take a chance of those yeller coyotes circling back this way to have another try at you.†"I appreciate that, Chet. Thank you..." MaryAnne nodded to the rustler and then watched as Phoenix continued to drink from the creek water. “What the hell do they want with you anyway? Who the hell are they?†Chet questioned, his mood as usual. Unhappy, annoyed and right down dark clouded temperament. MaryAnne looked up at Chet and sighed. "Black Jack Dakota," she said. "About six months ago I gunned down his younger brother Domino at the Boar's Nest Saloon. The kid was a idiot, plus he was drunk and he came up the brilliant idea of drawing on me first. Seems he had a problem with a female deputy... "Anyway, obviously Black Jack is looking to settle the score." She looked at Chet a moment. "Listen, once we get back to town, I'll understand if you want to split. You're certainly not under any obligation to help me beyond this point, although I appreciate what you've done. I ain't holding that sentence I gave y'all either. I'm declaring amnesty. Not that you'll probably wanna ever come back to Hazzard, but if you do I won't hang ya." Movement on the trail caught MaryAnne's eye and she turned to look, seeing two riders approaching. It took a moment but as they came closer she recognized Enos and Val and breathed a little easier. She waved to them in greeting. (cue Chet and/or Enos n' Val!)
  24. How about leave the Rockford car and add a row six?
