  1. Boss fixes himself a light snack...
  2. Edmund's InsideLine has released it's 100 Greatest Movie and TV Cars of All Time list and sitting pretty in the top spot is - you know it - The General Lee! The General beat out every other car you can think of including, for the second time in recent months, the Bandit Trans Am. You can check out the list at InsideLine.com. See if your other favorites made the list! (What? There's others??)
  3. The Letter - The Box Tops Joe Cocker also does a great version of this song (at least, the parts of the lyrics you can understand, heh!) BAHAHA! I've loved this song forever. "Taaaake meeee hommme! Oh muddah, faddah, taaake meeee hommme...I hate Granada..." ROFL
  4. I'm in the same boat as Hoss. I can picture both the horses and the ATVs....but can't remember from which episodes each are from. That being said, since Hoss has a 50/50 chance of bein' right with the ATVs, I'm gonna go with the other 50/50 chance and say it was the horses. Khee! That's from the 1994 movie version of "Maverick." There's a big riverboat gambling scene and Denver, along with a lot of other familiar faces from 50s and 60s westerns were in it. Waylon Jennings is also seen briefly as a gambler.
  5. Probably not singing about draperies here... Curtains - Elton John
  6. Mountain Music - Alabama Yeehaw! Good thing otherwise it would totally ruin the song.
  7. I've upgraded you to a regular user and I believe you can set up your avatar now.
  8. Howdy Sean, welcome to HNet! We've approved the photos you uploaded to the gallery and they can be viewed here. Nice car!
  9. Roger was very clear in his rules, Brian, PG-12! Ya know, to be honest, the reason I wrote my fanfic was in answer to that question. Obviously, I couldn't keep it brief as I wrote several. But because of that I met folks who would become a couple of my bestest friends. And we would launch a website that would bring other Dukes fans together. Not bad for a fantasy. But to answer Roger's question here I will say this.... I wish they had done more episodes with the storyline of Daisy wanting to be a song writer. That girl had dreams and they kinda took a backseat to the usual shenanigans of her cousins.
  10. A Happy belated B-day to Charlie! I always dug the theme from Stroker Ace, myself. And while looking for more writing music (Georgia, or Atlanta themed) I found "Oh, Atlanta" which I dig too. I'm still trying to figure out my Dukes fantasy tho'... LOL
  11. I agree with Hoss, Jesse's grandaddy was a riverboat gambler. Hopefully Jesse's grandaddy fared better than this guy did, the cheater.... Hoss should take note that I did not take advantage of the Texas Ranger answer and post a picture of You Know Who.
  12. Ol' Elton had a lot of one word song titles (he also had a song with no title ROFL) Hello, baby hello... Harmony - Elton John
  13. I wondered about that! When I was working on the FAQ caps (remember, the one I didn't have a cap for a Plymouth Fury?) I had capped a patrol car near a sign that said Lake Sherwood...
  14. Nicely done! I like that second planet pic too. You'll forgive me if I say I hear Patrick Stewart's voiceover in my head here... "Space. The final frontier..." (you can put Shatner's in there too but these pics remind me more of Star Trek: TNG's opening titles LOL)
  15. Continuing our 'manly' songs I'm surprised this one hasn't come up yet! Ramblin' Man - The Allman Brothers
  16. Mufn's got the brains, Brian's got the looks...and I just do floors around here. HEH! Speaking of background music while writing, this song is from an album that I listened to on a constant loop while writing a story a few years ago. (One of my Hogan's Heroes stories, "Sustaining the Wings.") Pilgrim - Enya Apologies for the double shot, but Brian might find this interesting as this song comes from another of Enya's albums that I listened to on a constant loop while writing the as-yet-unfinished/unposted story that saw the creation of Lt. Jack Morrison (for any y'all watching the Few Good Bad Guys thread). Watermark - Enya
  17. Going back to 1939 for this one... The Man with the Mandolin - Glenn Miller & His Orchestra Before he settled on playing trombone as kid, Glenn Miller's first instrument was actually a mandolin. I don't believe he plays it here but...who knows. LOL
  18. More 70s for ya! Going back to 1976 for ABBA... Fernando - ABBA
  19. Drive - The Cars Remembering a song is one thing, but when a video stays with you even after 25 years, that's something else.
  20. Welcome to HNet.....Godfather?!? Just teasin', glad ya joined up!
  21. Little Lion Man - Mumford and Sons This version is slightly edited for a word. LOL
  22. Well, I have a lot of Dukes of Hazzard pics too. Great detective work!
  23. I'm not done with the 'manly' songs yet either, Hoss. Iron Man - Black Sabbath
  24. I also see you updated your "About Me" tab...which means I have to update mine now because mine was basically in response to yours. LOL
