What exactly happend in this episode? I havent ever been able to catch it yet.
OK...This alien comes down into Skunk Hollow and freaks out the people who see him ( Enos) and then two crooks take over the radio station and broadcast a fake, " Aliens are indvading us" , story, to freak the people in town out and make them leave town, so they can rob the place. Then the alien has to get back to Skunk Hollow to meet his friends but the bad guys kidnaped him but he gets away and the Dukes help him find his way back to Skunk Hollow, where he meets up with his buddies and goes back into space. This was one of the top 3 goofiest episodes...his "Name", given by Daisy was " Little Cousin".....crap...!!

got to say that "Strange Visitor in Hazzard" is one of the episodes that I don't like...to me it is too far stretched and it did show that they were running low on ideas and so forth. It had really taken a curve from the normal plot line of the Dukes
Exactly! +1 !!
I think the goofiest, corniest episode was Carnival of Thrills...I hardly ever watch it!!

I was thinking that the posts should be reversed, so that the first post is the one you see and that way you can read the entire thread and see the whole " Story" in the order as it was posted...see?

Oh...I'm not sure where to put this but the Beaudry's were from Tennessee!

Sorry Roger, I did the screengrabs and forgot to answer the questions
.
I agree with the first two of Roth's answers:
What did Rosco do with the bicycle he commandeered from the little boy after he finished riding it?
shot it
What was Boss's deceased uncle's name in this episode?
C) Jefferson
It ages since I've seen the final season, so I'm gonna have to guess the last one:
When the bad guys kidnapped Daisy toward the end, where did they say they were taking her?
Capitol City
Boss's deceased uncle's name was Uncle Silas!

Hahahahaha Roger, I like that…reminds me of me and all my friends….
Just a quick note on my post before…
Here is out little baby tree this year!! We kinda went Charlie Brown… 8)
I thought he was cute! This is a picture off my phone so it isn’t very clear…
And look…Mr. Moose (Yes I am aware this is a white tail deer and not a moose!) even gets in the Christmas spirit….
Well actually this is at my grandma’s and this was a few years ago. She won’t let me decorate him anymore. Her cat loves to tear down Christmas decorations. Buddy (the cat) would have had a ball with this…And she didn’t want the deer coming off the wall! Buddy actually basically destroyed her tree this year (again). He knocked it over and broke a bunch of the ornaments while she was gone. Mama and I had to take the whole thing apart, redo, and redecorate it. But we somewhat reprettified….Here is a picture of it also!!
Sadly I completely forgot to take a picture while it had all the presents under it...this was afterward!! lol
Ha! Ha!! That deer looks like something off Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck jokes! I love it!!

I've noticed some stuff that wasn't a visual blooper but verbal. This is only a partial list, because I'm sure there are many others.
1. When Rosco is trying to frame the Dukes ( someone help me with which episode/plot this one is!), he has just got the evidence he was using against them in his hand and Ennos says, " Well, I guess that clears the Dukes of all wrong doin" ( or something like that!) and then Rosco, while holding the evidence in his hand ( I can't even remember what it was ( help me with this one too please!), says, " That's a wrong, that's a wrong, they're probably hiding the evidence trying to just weasel out of it!"...The whole time he HAD the evidence in his hand!! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT????
2. Another one, and I'll mention more as I think of them, is when Lucinda Meadows is sitting on the front porch with uncle Jesse and he tells her that he would have gone crazy when Martha passed away, if it weren't for the boys coming to live with him. Later in another episode, his wife is mentioned as Lovinia, but at the same time, he tells the boys to go stay with their aunt Lovinia, when the cops are looking for them and Luke says he ( Jesse) hasn't even spoken to Aunt Lovinia in 20 years! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???
3. Also, in this same episode, it is called " The Return of the Ridge Raiders", when every other time, the illegal moonshiners are called Ridge RUNNERS!!
-
My favorite is at the end of "Follow That Still" when the contraband cigarettes are being throw out of the tank (armored personel carrier).
The problem is that there's nobody in it because they've all jumped out at that point.
That's RIGHT!! How could I have missed that???!!!
-
I have never heard of that one. Google doesn't seem to know anything either.
Where did you get this information Hobie?
I just saw it in one of the posts..something about Daisy and Jesse , Vegas, etc.....I don't know...maybe it was me having a bad day with some Factory Whistle!!

I recently posted a picture of Cathy and her daughters in the Rare and Behind the Scenes Pictures of the Dukes of Hazzard thread, but whose son is this?:
A) Denver Pyle
Waylon Jennings
C) Sonny Shroyer
D) Sorrell Booke
E) Rick Hurst
Look real close....to me he looks like those pictures of Brad Pitt, when he has long disheveled hair and beard....( ?)

Hey folks, I have a question. Where/when was " The Dukes Visit Las Vegas" done? I thought I had ALL 147, episodes PLUS the two reunion movies and I THINK I have that crappie " New Dukes", with Johnny Knoxville, etc. ......but I NEVER even HEARD of this one!! ( Is it one of the episodes created on this site?)
-
If you all want to see a movie that trashes the original concept of the dukes of hazzar, then by all means go listen to four letter words and dope smokin freaks trying to capatlize on the old dukes and completely shredding the family type series that we spent seven years bringing clean entertainment to our youth.
Now you know the rest of the story rosco
I couldn't agree more Mr. Best and as a side note ( off topic...but still....), I think you and Mr. Booke are the best comedy team of all time! Baring none!! ( Greater than Laurel and Hardy, Abott and Costello, etc.) . I continue to watch your stuff and still laugh and it's always clean! The worst things any of them ever do is say, " Heck", or take a drink of beer! ALL of you are near and dear to my heart and always will be! I watch you every day! Thank you for what you've done for me and countless others!! God bless!!

Hoss, that side of the street almost has no good pictures So I had to make a guess and as far as I know the boarding house is extravagant like containing the windows in the picture. But I don't know much of the house you think it is so yes it could be that one too.
Thanks for the compliments TheGeneral01 and Ila.
I can't find much about this but Tom is Wopat's full first name? or is it Thomas?
I got some pictures posted of this shoot but this seems to be a failed picture as Tom isn't smiling to the camera. I would've expected them to delete this picture.
Right into the Hazzard Car Wash. I think this is season 2, 3 or 4. Big pond so I don't expect it to be Valencia Oaks.
Thelma Claire 'T.C.' Rogers with the Dukes. I don't remember seeing that ball hanging there on the show. This is the Police Station entrance I believe.
I don't remember seeing that ball hanging there either! I'm very curious as to what the deal is there!

Lee 1 in action.
Preparing for a scenes of the pilot.
I won't say where they are standing.
In front of the Boars Nest. They both look quite young in this picture and I see a blue white and red cloth. I'm going to say that this is from 'Luke's Love Story'.
Ok, I'm familiar with this because I have all the episodes, but unless I'm buzzing too hard on shine....I see two people sitting on the roof of the Boar's Nest!! WHO ARE THEY????
-
True enough, but I had remembered other inconsistancies, like in one episode, the Dukes lived on Mill Pond road, but in others it was Old Mill Road.
-
Here's another inconsistancy: Uncls Jessie's wife's name! She was referred to as " Aunt Lovinia and as Martha!
-
How old will he be? I've got all the episodes on VHS AND now on DVD but NEVER met any of them!
-
HAI NEW PERSON! WELCOME! (Btw I think I might be Hazzard net's town drunkie coz I'm funky of coffeee!) I might just go crawl around in the Hazzard Swamp fer a little while!
No...look I'm the town drunk here and to prove it, I'm about to drink some more shine!!

I'll take the soapbox for a minute since MaryAnne's not looking. I already vented my spleen in the last Newsletter with an editorial about the whole NASCAR snub of the General Lee. But I wanna respond to C.D. here about the NAACP a little more.
First, a lot of things the NAACP does, are positive. But they have a mission against he rebel flag. It was the NAACP that put enough pressure against the State of Georgia, some umpteen years ago, that Georgia altered their state flag to appease them.
That powerful victory set a precedent that continues today. The NAACP will never cease it's attack on the rebel flag. In fact I remember some scuttlebutt years ago about a John and Tom concert that was cancelled because the NAACP called up the city and said they'd boycott the town or something if there was a General Lee on that theater stage. My memory on this is sketchy, but I wrote the homepage article about it for HNet years ago, so you'd think I'd remember. I can't recall if the NAACP thing was disproven or if they refused to comment or what.
Anyway. I have a rebel flag as an avatar here on HazzardNet. Someday, I may be personally be challenged by some zealot who's on a seek-and-destroy mission against the rebel flag. HazzardNet itself, as a whole, may someday find itself on the defensive about the display of the rebel flag in our logos and banners.
But I understand why it upsets some people, so if any such confrontation arises, we'll handle it diplomatically.
And if The Dukes of Hazzard comes under attack as a whole, we will not remain silent. How could we? Because we'd be next at HazzardNet; as would the Confederate General Lee fan club or any other group or website that inferred anything politically incorrect, such as the display of yon rebel flag, or the preservation of orange clunker cars adorned with said flag, or the promotion of a tv show that refuses, after all these years, to fade away into memory, and take the rebel flag with it.
Yeehaa, my friends.
The people who bow down to the National American Communist Party ( It was started by a WHITE communist W.E.B. Dubois) show how weak they are. The word racist even means Race- genotypical description of your physique, and ist-belonging to or being a member of a certain group or party! See? Everybody's a RACE IST! Don't play their game! This is all B.S.! John Schneider once said that the Confederate flag didn't mean then what it does now....meaning when they first started the show. That's ridiculous! The flag is close to 150 yrs. old and it means NOW what it meant THEN!!

The only question I would have, is WHY IS HE IN THERE?? This couldn't have been a mistake!!
